Whenever I have any questions, there is no shortage on answers. James, Cameron, Linus, Allie, and Jason are excellent staff who have helped with my questions and allowed me to reach practical solutions.

Phenomenal experience at my local pawn shop today! Allie helped me find a beautiful 10k gold chain that fit my needs. They have done some updating since I was last in and I really enjoyed looking at all of the lighted jewelry cases. My friend bought a handgun and the process was quick and easy. Highly recommend!

This is a great place to shop. They offer a variety of products from bikes to purses. I had the pleasure of speaking with Heather one of the owners who was very helpful and friendly. I've been to serval of their other locations in McMinnville and Beaverton every experience has been great.

Capital pawn is not only great for locals but an awesome venue to purchase from on buya or mobile pawn! I have eagerly been searching for a rare LV purse and by luck they had it! Chachi was amazing at providing additional photos requested, although I initially thought the condition was worse as soon as it arrived it was better than expectation! They were kind enough to include certificate of authentication to 😊 They shipped the item within 24 hours of payment and wrapped it nicely including a lovely note of thanks. Regardless of going into the store physically or buying online you are sure to be satisfied with both customer service and product quality !

Unfortunately I had to sadly change my review due to the bad service. Absolutely shocked. I went in to trade in a good and buy two guys. Sadly I was unable to get any service. I came in and stood at the counter waiting to be helped for a gun and they serviced everyone that came in behind me. Very very disappointed. They also told me that there wasn't enough time to do a back ground check but the people after me were able to get one done. So I'm sorry but I will be thinking twice about this place.

I live in Florida and recently visited the store in McMinnville while visiting my sister. I can honestly say I had the best experience! The ladies that helped me with my jewelry I was needing to sell were super knowledgeable, friendly and efficient. They gave me top dollar for my rings and I was very impressed with their offer. I also perused the store as they were taking great care in making sure all of my jewelry met their quality standards as well. They have lots of great items for sale in their shop and some of the jewelry they have for both men and women is absolutely gorgeous. I highly recommend visiting Capital Pawn if you are considering a loan or sale of something. They will definitely treat you right! I look forward to visiting them again in my future travels.

Kat helped me through the process of my lay-away as well as the associates there until the day of my pick up. I love that they have reasonable prices for designer handbags. I can't wait for my next purchases! Possibly some designer sunglasses? Who knows, but all I know is I will be back to buy some nice merchandise in the future.

I had some medical bill's that were more than pressing consequently I went to see the folks at capital. I brought them a rifle that in reflection I had no business taking as it was a family heirloom but it was in front of the rest that day. I pawned it thinking all would be good. A couple months later the place burned down and they couldn't or wouldn't tell me anything about my rifle for about three week's. It finally turned up in Albany, I drove all the way down there to fill out the first 4473. Long story short since then I have paid over a year's worth of pawn fees and had to while sorting out an issue with the NICS system and the state of Oregon. This month apparently while hyper focusing on the issue with state I missed a payment. What I have a problem is after paying for that long and filling out 3 4473's they didn't even bother to call me, they even sent my classic rifle off to get "fixed" and put it up for sale as soon as they could. This isn't the first time either. We had talked about pawning a rifle about 6 months ago with them. Refer back to my track record and payment history with them. The kid in there started appraising the rifle as to how he was going to sale "parted out", I was asking for a loan. If you want to sale your stuff for 1/3 to 1/4 market value then maybe they are trustworthy. Oh yeah they gave me back my rifle minus the sling (no great loss, but still) and with some aftermarket part on a classic that will be very hard if not impossible to recoup.

Always an amazing experience, have pawned/purchased items here for years and always a seamless experience. I love the pay the interest option to extend my loan so I never lose my items. Great people, great business! Recommend 10/10 if you're in need of some quick cash and have something or value you want to pawn or sell. More than fair prices for purchases as well.

Had such a great experience today at Capital Pawn. My husband purchased a Dewalt mitre saw and my 12 yr old purchased a HP chrome book. Both were at a great price and a discount on top of that for their Anniversary sale. James was the gentleman that helped us with the computer purchase. All staff were friendly, knowledgeable and did a wonderful job in answering any questions. Store was clean, items were beautifully displayed and signage ( prices, specs) was visible. I perused the handbag selection and talked with the associate who was sprucing up the displays. She was kind and was fun to just chat with. Had one hiccup after purchase but Cameron at the gun counter was more than willing to help. Hard to find business like that anymore, especially pawn shops. We had some difficulties with a third party's web site not functioning. Silina and Jason worked with me to solve the problem, and I received my purchase in time for Christmas. It was in perfect condition, and I was very happy. I'd purchase from them again.

A few days before Christmas, I went into this shop to purchase an Xbox one X that was labeled “Like New” for $300 dollars. I was Informed their return policy is 24 hours, and if I find anything wrong with the console in that time period to bring it back. The first 24 hours it worked just fine (Mind you, it took a day to get it updated and download games to the system). Once completed I played a game for a couple minutes. Wrapped the Xbox and gave it to my dad for a gift. (He’s from out of town). When he arrived in Idaho he immediately had problems. Games crashed, froze constantly and wouldn’t stay on more then an hour. After four days of trying to make it work he took it into Ubreakitwefixit. It didn’t take them more then a day to open it up and said that the system was completely shot. They said they could fix it for 400, but recommend we buy a new one. They asked when we got it and he told them I bought it for him from a pawn shop that had it listed for 300 with a “Like New” label. They even stated that they were shocked the place I bought it from even sold it, and labeled it as such. I will never shop or refer anyone to this establishment. They either only care about making a buck and don’t care about screwing over a customer, or they don’t pay nearly enough attention to the electronics that they purchase for resale. You’re better off going to Elite Pawn.

Capital Pawn is always a good place especially when you're needing a quick loan! You have exactly 2 months to pay it back in order to get your item. If not, they get to keep and sell it. The place is pretty big and has a huge variety of things to look at! Luxury brand purses, shoes, down to budget friendly items. A place that has something for every walk of life 🙃 10/10 recommend 👏

Capital Pawn shop downtown Portland does give very fair loans on my gold and diamonds. Their customer care service is very good and they worked well with me when I was late making a payment. This is a stellar establishment to shop, pawn, or get a loan. Being in a new place sometimes comes with a difficult time finding awesome local businesses. My first time ever in a pawn shop. I was expecting a Pulp Fiction kind of joint with all sorts of funky stuff for sale but instead, I got an Apple Store level experience: super friendly service, amazing selection of products, and awesome advice. The store itself is very nicely designed. I was shopping for my first rifle and Cameron could not have been a better guide. He let me bug him with all sorts of noobie questions and after half an hour of chatting, I pulled the trigger [=)] on a nice 12ga mossberg 500. I had visited 4 other gun stores within the week, but Capital Pawn just felt like the right place. I think this is going to be my place to browse for firearm inventory from now on and who knows, maybe I'll even pawn off some of my grandma's mystery box of trinkets.
