The absolute worst mortgage company ever. I’ve been with them for 14 years and it’s been excruciatingly painful. They are not helpful, don’t answer the phones, and never send the proper communications. My loan officer was so rude and disrespectful that I told the manager that she is to NEVER contact me again! Most recently, my loan payments went up without my knowledge. I received no letter, email, coupon booklet, statement,…NOTHING! I called and the lady told me that my account hadn’t been audited in 2 years and they finally audited it. Because of this, my escrow was in the negative due to increased taxes and mortgage insurance. How do you not audit an account in 2 years? How do you not contact the homeowner to let them know this? I then requested a coupon booklet in December, it’s February and I have yet to receive it. If you have a mortgage with them, refinance as soon as you can and run!

I have been calling and calling and calling and calling trying to pay my mortgage since I couldn't pay it online because my login (the same one I've been using for months) is not working. I'm not late at this point but I will be very unhappy to acquire any late fees because of this!! This is unacceptable for me not to get anyone on the phone. Unbelievable. One star is way too generous. (-10000)

The new website to make payments is trash! Then when you need to speak to someone about billing it takes forever to reach someone! Clearly everyone is having the same problems with this mortgage company. Please do better and fix the issues.

The new online payment system is a scam. I schedule payments and then it magically disappears. Like I never scheduled anything at all. Also, I can’t even log in to the website. The site tells me my login is wrong and makes me reset my login information at least three times before it accepts it. Then once it accepts my login, it makes me “verify” my account with a number sent to my email. The number never comes. I have not been able to log into the system for the entire month of April. Meanwhile I keep getting phone calls telling me I haven’t paid. When I call a CSR, no one answers the phone. It’s as if they want me to miss a payment.

They are awful. No one ever answers the phone no matter what time of day you call. I have legitimate questions and I need answers. They are ridiculous and lack customer service. They don't need to be in business as a mortgage company if no one can reach them!!

It’s been weeks and I’m still unable to pay my mortgage. The site is clearly not working. They say to call a number but you sit on hold for hours just to leave a message all for no one to ever call back. I’ve sent emails & I get nothing back

This is the WORSE MORTGAGE COMPANY EVER. I’m trying to pay my mortgage and have been trying since 3/1/22 and still can’t. I can’t get a representative on the phone AT ALL TO HELP. The website is down to pay online and NO ONE IS AVAILABLE ON THE PHONE. What am I suppose to do at this point ?

They never answer their phone. I was unable to pay my mortgage on its due date and left a message. 2 business days later I still haven't heard back from them.

State Home Mortgage is absolutely impossible to get in touch with someone. No one answers the phones even during operating hours. The only good part is u can go online, set up a payment and I can waive a late fee if needed. Especially during the holidays and having surgery this month, I need all the extra help I can get but their phone customer service is definitely lacking.

RUDE Customer Services Reps!!!!!!! I wish I could give them less stars!!! I just asked a rep to either talk more clearly or spell the name of the company she was referring me to. She literally refused, then had the audacity to get mad. She instead, quickly and even less audibly rattled off a phone number to some mysterious man and refused to tell me what the company was or who the man was. I cannot wait to refinance and leave this horrible company!!!!!!

I literally cant pay my mortgage because the phone just rings forever no matter what time you call. ive never had an interaction with an actual person. i didnt even pick this company my loan was sold to them. this is the only possible way for a company this bad to get business. wow!

This is the worst mortgage company, you can tell by the 1.5 star...smfh. Every other company are helpful and responsive! I wish I didn't have to get my mortgage loan through them, I should have gone with someone else smh. I didn't receive any letter or notification regarding my mortgage payment. I am frustrated that it went up by $200!! Initially, mortgage companies are supposed to send a calculation letter or escrow letter regarding my mortgage or something. I can never get a hold of my loan officer, which I feel I need a new one, she never sounds happy! Nobody rarely answers the phone or really calls back! I will be going up to the office because clearly nobody in the office wants to do their job!! If your not eager to help people then you need to find a new job. I cannot wait to go to a new mortgage company smh.

This mortgage company is horrible! If you can avoid doing business with them, do so. They have you waiting on the phone for HOURS but when will call you days before your mortgage is due to make sure you pay.

I normally don't leave bad reviews but I am soooooooooooooo over this company. They are the absolute worst with communication. I have a simple question and I have not been able to get ahold of anyone. I have called several times at different times and still nothing. I cannot wait until I am able to refinance with a different company.

Rude and lacking customer service skills. Payment went through and was accidentally FIVE DOLLARS short. Lady calls me letting me know it needs to be cleared up along with a 27$ late fee. Could’ve called me yesterday to clear it up with no late fee. But nah. That’s how they do business. Shady and uncooperative. Not polite or understanding. Simply put rude. Will start shopping a new mortgage company.

Quite frustrating. I’ve been trying to log into my account to pay my mortgage and the authentication code takes forever to be sent. Then when I do receive it, the code no longer works. Tried calling, can’t even get past the initial prompts because when I press a number, any number for that matter, it just restarts the automated message. I better not get any late fees for my mortgage since no one answers and I am unable to login. This is asinine!

Easily the worst and most incompetent organization I have had the unfortunate necessity of having to work with. No way to speak to a manager, incompetent help from agents, no way to even leave a complaint. Since this is a state agency I guess I should contact my local representative in order.to get a marginal level of assistance.

Most unprofessional company I have ever done business with, I totally regret picking this company. Their staff was so rude back in the day when you could get them on the phone, and their website for payments won’t work half the time. They should be reported to the Beter Business Bureau. One star is giving them an over rating. I absolutely dread every-time I know I have to try make contact with them.

Website has been down for over a month, I cannot get anyone on the phone. I had to sit on hold for 33 minutes to finally get a person to pay my monthly mortgage. What is happening????

New website is terrible! Doesn’t work. Can’t even log in to pay mortgage. I can’t wait to refinance. They also don’t answer the phone. And if there is a mistake on their part they surely will blame you!

This place is hands down the worst. I’ve been on hold for an hour an 20 minutes, just to get one simple question answered. Now I have to travel all the way to the office for the answer I need. If I could give a negative star I would!

I have called left several messages with no callback I just need a mortgage statement, I was left on hold for a hour & half still hasn’t picked up😡

Probably one of the WORST companies I’ve ever had to deal with and unfortunately I’ll have to deal with them fit a while. Literally poor reviews for every aspect of this company. I can NEVER get anyone on the phone, the line either rings continuously or cuts off abs hangs up or you go straight to voicemail or in some personal instances they pick up and hang up on me. And when I do finally get someone on the phone, they are SO RUDE. Every single time, it never fails. I so wish I could do away with this company. But my mortgage was sold to them and now I’m stuck. If you have a choice RUN, RUN FAR AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY.

How am I supposed to pay my mortgage over the phone if there are always problems with the automated system? If only I could get my bank to just refinance my life instead of the 2 companies I’m having to deal with. It’s 2021 for crying out loud. We can put a man on the moon but can’t get this right?

This company is horrible , the staff are very rude and unprofessional when you voice your concerns. They continuously harass you calling upwards to 20 times per month in regards to a payment if not made exactly on the 1st. The communication sucks and representatives take forever to return your phone call. Cannot wait to refinance and go to a more professional company instead of this place. Do not recommend !

I typically only post good experiences, but not today. They don't return phone calls or emails on time. My wife and I had to restructure our loan, because without them formally telling us, our mortgage shot up almost $400. We weren't prepared, and fell behind, only 1 payment. They called us and sent us letters like we were 9 months behind and in foreclosure or default. I haven't been working since the quarantine and they told me there's nothing that can be done to help homeowners out right now. SMH
