If I could give them 0 stars I would. Same issues, was lied by sales person, I pay more now than when I did not have panels. I pay my bills every month and now all the sudden get a bill for twice the amount. NO ONE EVER responds to emails or answer their phone. I want these gone and an answer. I have complained to BBB and will be reaching out to TV station in Arizona for help and speak on TV about this company and how horrible they are. DO NOT PURCHASE SOLAR PANELS FROM THIS COMPANY.

DO NOT GET SOLAR PANELS FROM SPRUCE FINANCE. Look them up on the Better Business Bureau, they have horrible customer service. Their panels have been on my roof for over 2 years and they still don't work. I have called their Homeowner Support Team multiple times. The customer service representatives cannot help. They are only allowed to email higher management but nothing gets done. Now, I want to sell my house but the buyers do not want panels from this ridiculous company. Spruce Finance is telling me that my only other option is to buy to panels (about $30,000). Why would I buy panels that never functioned?

Do not get solar through this company. They purchased our solar contract from another company and refuse to abide by the terms of our contract. Customer service is nonexistent. You can not even speak to a supervisor without waiting 3-5 business days for a call back that never even comes. Filed a complaint with the attorney general due to their illegal business practices.

If I could give negative stars I would. Beware of this company. They sell you the solar system and you never hear from them again. I have been having a billing issue with them for 6 months. It’s an error on their end. I pay my bills every month as soon as I receive the bill it’s paid. Apparently they changed their billing system and have no record of my past five payments. Now I’m getting delinquent bills. You try and reach customer service you’re on hold for over an hour and nobody ever answers. You send emails to their customer support line and nobody gets back to you. It’s like a nonexistent company yet they are happy to take your money. Horrible customer service, no wait NO customer service!!!

Wish I could choose one star. We apparently had financing with this company for a solar service that turned out to be quite a scam, Ampere Solar. When we sold the home the process with Spruce was unbelievable. They only email and take 1-3 days to follow up, in addition each call I placed meant about 30 minutes on the phone and problem unsolved. We sold our home 2 months ago and received an email about 2 days ago saying that the transfer did not go through because the 300 and something dollar transfer fee was not paid. I started to go through all our solar bills once we sold our home and I am learning how badly we were scammed by this company (Ampere). This was not the name of the company when we signed up so I am not even sure how this came about. In any case, Spruce Financial has been extremely difficult to deal with and I would run!

I have been having issue with the billing department. They have been taking the payments out of my bank account, but still sending me invoices with past dues, One person replied to my email but never heard back even after sending the proof of the payments. O gosh what a time wastage with them.

Customer service is non-existent, will not abide their own contract on transferring the loan to a new homebuyer, functions exclusively via snail mail and fax machines like it is 1980. Under no circumstances should you ever finance solar panels with this abomination of a company.
