    Run from this company if you are a business owner wanting to set up a 401k. Their customer service does not understand their own industry or IRS 401K rules, for months and months they were setting up a communication between me and their "Compliance Department" (which I think has to be one person with no time to communicate), after months and months and many requests I never did get a communication from Compliance. Every customer service agent says they will help, and it turns out to be another vortex of time wasting. It doesn't matter if you keep working with the same person or start again over and over with new people, ultimately "Compliance" will contact you, which with NEVER happens. After months I finally arranged a conference call with the Manager of Customer Service and the IRS, the IRS 100% confirmed that every person I spoke with at Human Interest has no understanding of IRS 401k rules including their Manager. Human Interest hides behind "IRS Rules" that don't exist for the purpose of tying up money.After leaving Human Interest they sit on your money for another 4 to 5 months. If you think Human Interest might be your best 401k option, save your time and money and teach your employees how to set up an IRA. Frustrating!!!

    Do not I repeat DO NOT use these guys for your 401k unless you like feeling robbed and being ignored. Their lacking of a sense of urgency is sickening I’ve been waiting for 8 weeks now for a distribution of MY funds and these people don’t really seem to care enough of the customers they are “supporting “ again DO NOT USE FOR YOUR EMPLOYEES.

    Our company has used Human Interest for two years with seamless integration with our payroll provider, there is a bridge that allows both companies to do their thing without any manual input from me - which was my objective. As the HR administrator it’s amazingly easy for me to keep track of our company’s contributions and our employees have been very happy with their side as well. Super easy to change contributions to meet their personal needs as well. The HI fees are incredibly reasonable, I did a lot of research with more traditional providers which made the decision to adopt Human Interest into our benefits program an easy one. Set up was pretty painless and the phone support to answer any questions is always spot on. We are a small company with fifteen fairly young employees, it was important to offer a 401K and I’m thrilled to do business with Human Interest.

    Human Interest really makes the 401(k) process easy, simple, and smooth. It is a great service for small companies like mine and has provided great value to our employees and benefits package. The online user interface is easy to use & customer service is great. I highly recommend!

    We shopped different administrators before finally selecting Human Interest. We were a startup company with limited funds, so we needed to make sure we spent wisely. Our payroll administrator is a big national company, but the costs to go with them were just too much. After selecting Human Interest, we were pleasantly surprised to find that not only were they affordable and a great value, their customer service team is amazing!

    Very disappointed in our service from Human Interest. I would not recommend any company to use this service for their employees. We recently had an employee lose out on their home loan because human interest was so slow to respond and complete processes. Each time we tried to work with human interest they would tell us they would email us or follow up and they never did.

    We've been very satisfied with our experience with Human Interest. It has allowed us to offer an affordable 401K program to our team of 6 employees without needing to jump through too many hoops. It's straightforward and easy to manage, both from an administrative side and from the employee side, and my team really appreciates the perk. Would highly recommend.     We have a fast growing small business (currently ~8 employees) and needed an all-in-one and hassle-free solution to get a 401k plan implemented. After nearly 12 months of researching the top 10 providers, I landed on Human Interest because of their promise of quick setup, competitive rates, and a platform that didn't require us to hire additional staff to setup and manage this plan. Two 15-minute calls and a short application process was all it took! Another major benefit is that they integrate with ADP RUN and other major payroll providers, which means all the deductions are handled between the employees and Human Interest's integration into our payroll system. It's been a few months and I've literally only logged into the admin panel twice just to make sure everything was working as they promised. This makes the fees and paperwork that other providers require seem like a big waste of time and money. We still get many of the major and popular investment funds, quick communication via email, and I know I can still call someone if we have any questions or need help with something. Human Interest was definitely built to accomodate a busy owner/founder or an HR staff with a million other important things to do. I can see this scaling with us as our company grows. On the employee side, this is a beautiful and easy to use platform. Everything is clearly laid out and they help guide your staff on how to handle contributions and vesting. I would recommend this to all my peers.

    Human Interest is run by humans that really strive to take care of their customers and their customers’ employees. They have an easy to interface, make completion of the annual Form 5500 so easy, and really want to hear feedback to improve. I can’t see using another provider for our team’s retirement plan.
