I can go on and on about this Company. They have over exceeded our expectations in assisting us. We are first time homeowners and with Tracie expertise she guided us all the way to the closing table. If you are looking for transparency and and honest company this is the company for you. I need more stars to rate Southwest Funding.

A year ago, I applied to buy a house with a different company and had lost all hopes in getting approved. They had me send in all my information from tax papers to bank statements only to tell me 3 days later that I wasn’t approved. Southwest Funding is completely different. They are real with you, they check your credit and tell you how it is the first time. Also told me what needed to be done to help get my credit up. Kim McCarthy is who a friend recommended to go through for our FHA home loan approval. We first wanted to buy during Summer 2020. After running our credit there were a few things we had to work on in order to get approved, and I wasn’t quite sure where to start. Kim discussed with me what she thought was best to help raise our scores, and even advised us what NOT to do. February 2021 rolled around, and we were finally pre-approved in 7 months! That began the journey, a long one to say the least. After many months of home visits, we couldn’t find a home, that felt like “home.” So we decided to purchase the residence we currently lived in that was owned by family. A very much different process, Kim instructed us what to do, step by step, and even took matters into her own hands and had direct contact with the lawyer since our family did not want to use a realtor. Months and months of waiting on lawyer, signatures, problem sorting with the title, Kim was ON TOP of keeping everyone in line to make sure proper paperwork was turned in and completed. Finally, as of September 2021, a little over a year after keeping in contact with Kim, she pushed to close on our home JUST before we are expecting our second child. The timeliness, hard work, and determination of Kim was astounding. Even after hours she would text me (which I did not recommend because off time is your off time from work!), which showed how much she cares for her customers.

David & Vanessa were amazing helping us refinance our house :) They are extremely knowledgeable and professional in their work. They have our trust and we know we can always reach them without hesitation.
