Santander Bank Branch 86th St, Brooklyn

Worse customer service as many of the reviews state. Took out my loan payment, which was paid off in full last month causing my checking to be overdrawn. Went to the branch and was treated as if it was my fault. The Sr. Specialist, just a fancy title, doesn’t know what she is doing. I have had it with this bank!

I have been banking here for years for my business and personal accounts. Customer service is the worst. Last episode is did a international wire transfer signed all set. And I was told the money will be in recipients account in 2-5 business days. I should check back after five business days with the recipient. Called my parents after 5 business days and i was told no money. Checked with the customer service on the phone. Santander had no record of any wire request. Called the branch and they told me the supervisor forgot and sat on the wire information for 5 business days. And he is sorry for it. Seriously had enough moving my accounts and business to another bank.

BEWARE ALL SENIOR CITIZENS AND BANKERS...DO NOT DEPOSIT ANY MONEY OR OPEN AN ACCOUNT AT ANY OF THEIR BANKS!!MY MOTHER AFTER OVER 38 YEARS BANKING W/THIS SO CALLED INSTITUTION SHE TRIED TO WITH DRAW MONEY FROM HER ACCOUNTS AND THEY REFUSED TO GIVE HER OWN MONEY!! SHE HAD TO SELL OFF ALL HER JEWELRY TO GET REPAIRS DONE ON HER HOME WHEN SHE HAD THE MONEY TO COVER IT AND THEN SHE TELLS THE BANK TO REMOVE SOMEONE FROM HER ACCOUNTS WHO WAS STEALING FROM HER AND THEY REFUSE TO DO IT AND TO THIS DAY THAT PERSON IS STILL ON THE ACCOUNTS !!! THEY MADE AN 86 YEAR OLD LADY WALK BACK AND FORTH TO THE BANK IN MID-AUGUST 3 TIMES TO NOT GIVE HER OWN MONEY AND I BET THEY WERE LAUGHING ABOUT IT BECAUSE TO THIS DAY THEY STILL HAVE NOT APOLOGIZED!!THIS IS THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE AND I WOULD SUGGEST AND TELL YOU ALL TO STAY AWAY BECAUSE THIS IS NO BANK. MY MOTHER HAD BEEN TRYING TO CLOSE HER ACCOUNTS AT THIS BANK SINCE AUGUST AND THEY WON'T GIVE HER OWN MONEY SO ASK YOUR SELF THIS QUESTION WHY DO BUSINESS WITH A BANK LIKE THIS?? I DIDN'T THAT'S FOR SURE AND NOW WE BANK AT SOMEWHERE THEY REALLY RESPECT YOUR BUSINESS ,. THEY TOOK ADVANTAGE OF MY MOTHER AND THEY EITHER JUST DO THIS TO SENIOR CITIZENS OR JUST ASIANS?

Rude, unaware. They don’t value you as a customer

Bad customer service. You could wait in line an hour and the tellers will be having a conversation with the same person and won't even acknowledge you. It's not a social club, it's a bank. Get your money and move on! I will say that the teller I had was very friendly and nice though. Maybe just speed things up.

The bank personal very polite.smiling,very nice people. I was going to this banl from1990.&,I love this bank&all the workers,all the banks .should be like this one,clean.,helpful.
