She responded to our initial inquiry within an hour. Our pre-approval process was smooth and quick. She worked on weekends to have pre-approval letters ready for our offers. We closed on time and could even have closed early if we wanted! She took extra time to meet with us to answer our questions as first-time home buyers. I want to commend Edgar Escandar. We have a big, old, expensive house. My income has not kept up with the cost of owning and maintaining the house, so there is a lot of things that are wrong with it. Worse, I am a contractor, a consultant, so while on average I am doing OKay, my employment history is spotty. That makes it hard to get a loan to buy a new small house of much lesser value than my existing house. The banks and the Credit Union I dealt with could not seem to get their minds wrapped around my true financial condition. Edgar could. In addition to being a mortgage guru, Edgar also has experience as a General Contractor. He knows good plumbers, electricians, roofers, carpenters. He gave us much helpful advice.
