We had a great experience financing our home purchase through The Johnson Team. From the initial contact to the day of closing, Paul and his team were extremely attentive and efficient. Their team uses a secure portal for quick and easy uploading and sharing of materials and messages. It made the process very clear and accessible. Our loan while not unique, was slightly out of the ordinary but that was no issue for Paul and his team. I mentioned in passing to Paul that if it was possible to close early, we’d love that. Somehow, Paul’s team got everything together and closed our loan almost 2 weeks early! Paul Johnson's team guides you through each step of the homebuying process. They gave good explanations for all of my questions. Response time was very quick and there is always someone available for inquiries. They like to build a strong relationship with the client. The whole time I felt like I was their only client, obviously that couldn't have been the case. But the level of care and attention to detail amazing. Paul and his team were absolutely fantastic throughout the mortgage process! I came to Paul in a crisis moment where my husband had lost his job about a month before closing on our new construction home. I was seeking alternate options and needed them quick as I couldn't qualify on my own and didn't want to lose the house. Tatiana was fantastic as well and was quick to answer any questions I had, explain the process and documentation needed, and treated my closing like it was her own. Paul and his team have been really great to work with. Paul, Natasha, and Irina are always happy to answer my questions or direct me to the appropriate resources. The team overall puts a lot of effort into making sure that their clients are happy with their service. The base rate for my loan was pretty good, and they provided options to adjust my rate (e.g. I can pay a little higher closing costs for a lower rate, or I can pay a higher rate for a credit towards my closing costs). They sent me cookies and a lottery ticket which was really cool. Listing agents that asked which lenders I was working with seemed to be familiar with Cross Country with a strong positive opinion. As a first time home buyer, having such an attentive lending team has been a great experience.
