Phil’s team were very professional. They responded our questions quickly. We had no issues for our mortgage loan process. I’m highly recommend Phil for your mortgage needs. He is amazing.

Phil helped us as first time homeowners in 2017 and was extremely professional and informative throughout the whole process. I reached out to a couple of mortgage brokers and they all wanted to charge all these crazy (hidden) origination fees but residential was very fair and it was helpful to go to a direct lender. He was very responsive and guided us from start to closing. We started with a 7 year arm and ended up using Phil again in 2020 to refinance when rates became even lower. We are now in a fixed 30 year and very happy that we chose Phil and residential as our mortgage company.

Not only did they help to educate me along the way, they were patient with my questions, personable, and highly professional as well. Their approach was to provide me with smaller "chunks" of to-do's in order to manage the paperwork needs all throughout the process. As long as you are organized and responsive as well -- the home-buying process can go incredibly smoothly too (which I tried my best to do!). Trying to choose a mortgage provider can be a daunting task, especially for a first-time home buyer. As part of that process, I had put together a short list of providers and made a worksheet with line items that I asked each of them to complete for me, so I knew I was "comparing apples to apples" to help me decide.
