In this new era of high demand and low inventory where dealerships are taking advantage of limited availability of cars on their lots by shamelessly marking up way beyond MSPR - Clinton Honda does not. We had been working with Clinton Honda for months to get my sister her first new car, a 2022 Hybrid CR-V EX-L, at MSRP price. We put down a deposit and waited for it to be built and delivered to the dealership. Clinton Honda exceeded our expectations! No other place at this time was actually offering this exact car in our preferred color for MSRP or lower without packages or accessories we didn’t ask for. They would say they were… and then there was always something they revealed last minute that they conveniently had left out earlier. Paying for and picking up the car was so straightforward and transparent. We came an hour early to our appointment expecting to wait… we were seen right away! The staff took their time to educate us on every part of the price-breakdown and also gave a thorough tour of all of the car features and answered all of our questions. We weren’t rushed through at all. Unlike other dealerships, there was no underhanded tactics or hidden agenda or forcing us to get features we didn’t ask for or hiding important details about the car. It was the exact model and color we wanted with every feature we had expected, nothing more or less, at the expected price promised to us previously. We felt like we were treated like actual people. We felt prioritized and taken care of. It’s a long wait to get the car but man was it worth it. The next time we get a Honda we won’t look anywhere else.

This is the fourth Honda my family has bought at Clinton Honda. It is obvious we are pleased with this dealer or we wouldn't keep coming back. I did my due diligence and shopped around but Clinton Honda did not attempt to "Market Adjust" the price like other dealers nor tack on other options (unwanted by me) that a buyer was forced to pay for. Lastly, my salesman Steve Williams was great. There were no pressure tactics but just honest representation of the difficult time I was buying in. I will start my next car search at Clinton Honda. Oh, and I should mention, my last three Hondas were reliable, stylish, and in the forefront of technological developments.

New Car Purchased from here. From initial discussion, it’s very smooth and straightforward. Joe Vizzi Jr. helped us to make this car purchase as less stressful. Pricing - as per the MSRP, considering the current supply chain issues, other dealers are charging fat markup, but here got it for MSRP. I feel this is good deal during this time. All discussions over phone and email, Visited first time to book the car and made advance payment. Paper work are kept ready and clean by Joe when I arrive, it was very quick on that day. Car arrived at dealership before the committed date and finance paperwork processed before couple of days of delivery. Visited second time for delivery, as usual paperwork is ready and Joe explained the necessary documents and brought us into car, took few pics and explained few important feature needs to be known on day one. Bill Ripka was my first point of contact. He was amazing, made me feel comfortable and answered all questions with complete answers. Our primary communication was the telephone, but right away, I felt welcomed and at ease. Bill helped me budget, down to the penny, the exact amount for the vehicle, before I even left home. It was an all-in amount, no guessing no estimations, nothing hidden. Very professional and straightforward on the price and car buying process. I made a call to Joe Vizzi and he reassured me that Clinton Honda will not sell any vehicles over MSRP despite the vehicle shortages most dealerships are having. The local dealerships in the NYC-Long Island areas are now charging 3 to 5k over the MSRP for vehicles. I was not going to pay those prices and more than willing to drive 1.5 hours to Clinton, NJ. I recommend Joe Vizzi for his professionalism and handling my car buying experience. No high pressure add ons, no pushing for extended warranties, no talk of " wait right here, let me speak to my manager" garbage I hear at other Dealerships. From the first phone conversation with Christie to the time I picked up my car from Kim, I experienced friendly, knowledgeable and helpful assistance at every step. My car repairs were complicated by some insurance issues and Kim worked with both me and the insurance company to make sure everything was resolved properly. [The "service" took place on Monday July 19, 2021] Well, did my wife ever get taken... My wife Nicole, was traveling from Boston back home to Pennsylvania after what was a great "girls vacation", only to experience a blinking CEL. She called me when it began and I told her, "it's likely a misfire, get it off the highway immediately", and we continued to talk about options as she was still two hours from home. After Googling on my end, I found Clinton Honda was just 4 minutes from her location (more because she limped it there). She left the keys in the drop off box, with I suspect a note/envelope explaining the situation as I had told her to do (she is not mechanically inclined, that's all). She called you guys at 8:30am since no one there acknowledged receipt of the key/envelope and she explained she was trying to get home (wish she hadn't but...). They told her at that time they would send a courtesy driver at noon to get her from the motel. At 11:30am she received word that she needed a new intake tube due to a tear (not entirely uncommon, but I just given this tube a look over before her trip when I replaced the air filter) - yes, I am a mechanic. Because this tube is after the MAF, it could cause a lean misfire (not the likely culprit on an Odyssey from what I've seen but I digress), which would trip a blinking CEL. Then they said to her, "there are no DTC (Diagnostic Trouble Codes)", which I found odd when my wife told me that, so I proceeded to call Clinton Honda right away. I spoke to Mike (service manager Mike, not the other Mike) and he explained they weren't pulling any codes, which I told him, I found that odd that not even a pending code would be showing, he assured me there were no codes. I gave this mechanic/manager the benefit of the doubt. So at 11:40am I reluctantly authorized the repair. My wife was charged $203 for replacement of this tube (it's around $26 retail for the tube, charged at the customary 150% for parts when charged through service, as most shops do). The [other] issue is the labor charged to replace the tube is what I'm not too thrilled about.. its a five to ten minute job guys! And feel free to test me on that, I'll provide video. By this time, the courtesy vehicle picked her up, she was checked out of the motel, but, waiting... for another 2 hours. Finally at 2:30pm, she was done and charged. She was back on the road. But, wait for it... 20 miles from home, my wife calls, "that light is blinking again". Lovely. I told her to stay parked and I met up with her, this time, bringing my Snap-On Triton D8 with me. Connected it and wouldn't you know.. even though Clinton Honda "showed no codes", immediately, P0303 pops up, Misfire in #3 cylinder. With a blinking CEL, imagine that... $203, some lies (Clinton Honda, if your code reader really didn't show this code, you need to replace your equipment), overcharged labor that didn't fix the issue, AND here's the whopper, a newly broken tab on my air-box now (gee thanks), I've went ahead and replaced #3 COP (coil on plug) and all spark plugs, no more issues. Guys, I'm disappointed. My wife visited your location, because you are an official Honda Dealer/Service and I figured it anyone would NOT take advantage of a woman 150 miles from home, it would have been you guys. I called and left a message for Mike, explaining to him all that I said above. Not one offer to make things right. Review edits will be made to reflect any change in situation.

She called me with updates throughout the day and never pressured me to do extra work... she actually saved me money! It is a pleasure doing business with them. The entire service operation, from the valet who greets you, the service writers, to the techs, is 1st class. Service is done right the first time and on time (ready when promised). The communication is great, when calling for an appointment, when dropping your vehicle off, if there are questions, notifying you when the vehicle is ready, and explaining the work done. I usually dread dealing with dealership service departments, but Clinton Honda is an exception. They make the experience pleasurable while keeping my vehicles in A-1 condition.

I purchased a 2021 Ridgeline from Clinton Honda. This was my first Honda, the salesperson was very knowledgeable explaining all the features of the vehicle. They located the model that I decided on and had the accessories and detailing done within a week. The dealership adhered to all the Corvid protocol. I had a problem with my wheels on my 2017 CRV and brought it to Mike V.'s attention. I was extremely upset and thought that there was nothing that could be done to appease me. The whole story is too long to go into here but Mike bent over backwards to make sure I would not leave Clinton Honda, a dissatisfied customer. I just wanted to say that if you take your car to Clinton Honda for service, it is very unlikely that you will have any problems, but if, in the event you do, I am now sure that you will be taken care of with the utmost of attention by a great service team and especially an excellent service manager. Went in to look at a 2018 Accord, sales staff was very courteous and informative of all of the various features the car comes with to help make your search easier based on trim level preferences and model choice. Joe was receptive to what offers I had received and was willing to work with me to get me the package I was looking for, which ended for me as a very positive experience. I felt the dealership made the entire process far more comfortable and should there be any hiccups with the car later on, service would be able to take care of any issues that may or may not pop up with long-term maintenance.

Joe Vizzi is an excellent internet sales manager. The online price he gave was very good. He is courteous and explained to me everything about additional cost and the expected monthly cost. Getting credit approval through Honda Financing went smooth and fast and at low interest rate. Before we drove off with the new car, he taught us the good features of this car, proper operation and care. He also set us up for the next maintenance appointment. We found the car we wanted online and contacted the salesman that sold us our previous car. As before, Bill was helpful, knowledgeable, and pressure-free. Judy helped us through the closing process and had no problem when we decided on using an unaffiliated financing option. We found a problem with our certified used vehicle, took it back, and the dealership quickly resolved the problem. I'm not sure the problem fit under the warranty, but the dealership did not charge us for the labor. My wife and I are very satisfied with this dealership.

This was the most pleasant car buying/leasing experience my husband and I have ever had! We had been to several dealers, including a few other Honda ones, in search of a mini van at a price we could afford for our family and Joe was the most responsive, fair and easy to work with by far. My car desperately needed an oil change and I called on the off chance they could fit me in. They asked if they could check to see if they had a technician available and get right back to me.... Michelle must’ve called me back 3 minutes later and said “come one down!” Yes! I was willing to wait however long they needed as I knew they were doing their very best to make sure they could accommodate me. Michelle at the service desk took care of me and John was the technician that took care of me. They were both amazing.... fully explaining to me me not only the oil change but John went over the car checking for key potential safety issues as well as regular maintenance that may need to be done and he found some. Thank goodness I now know what’s wrong with my car now.... rather than be stuck on the side of the road. I know the repairs that need to be done, what is a priority and why, thanks to John and Michelle, and how much it will cost exactly (prices included parts and labor totaled) except tax. They were so quick! I know I need repairs ASAP but I left there feeling a huge sense of relief that a potentially serious issue was caught before devastation could have happened. Prices were fair and all options were presented. I can’t express how good I feel bringing my car there as I have for the life of the car.... it’s 2002 Civic SI with 208,000 miles on it and I still feel good every time I go there. I NEVER WANT TO GO ANYWHERE ELSE!!!!

In fact, there are many Honda dealerships much closer to my home but I chose to drive over 45 minutes because this is the best Honda dealership. Bill Butler is a wonderful asset to the dealership, always providing all the information you need to make an intelligent decision. There is never any pressure. His friendly demeanor and helpful insight is always just what you need to make an intelligent decision. I also want to recognize their outstanding finance manager, Ajay. Again, he offers you all your options, works hard to accommodate your needs and does not apply any pressure to take on something you don't want. My only question is if you have rhe car care contract, are you always to expect a more than 2 hour timeframe for servicing your car. People came in well after me and left well before me. I went in for a 1:00pm oil change and tire rotation. They said they could not rotate tires because the lug nut was on to tight even though they did the rotation last time. Also at 1:30pm, I was told car would be done in 10 minutes, but it wasn't finished until 2:10. However, the staff is very friendly and courteous and I have no complaints about that.

I started using Clinton Honda for Servicing my 2008 Honda Odyssey in 2010 after moving to the area from New Brunswick. The Service team is always professional, courteous and friendly. They always thoroughly explain the issues and recommendations to fix. I feel I know more about my car as a result. We recently purchased a 2013 Honda Civic from them as well. The sales staff were very informative and answered all of our questions to our satisfaction without pushing us in one direction or another. They provided us the time to think through our options without feeling like we were going to miss out on any promotions or deals. It is such a wonderful experience working with staff at Clinton Honda.

My experience at Clinton Honda was awesome! It is so refreshing to walk into a dealership and not feel pressured to make a decision right at that moment. Charlie Bippart spent a lot of time with me and made sure every aspect of the deal was clear. He took the time not only to explain the features of the car, but also financing options to make sure I felt comfortable with the purchase. I would highly recommend Clinton Honda to anyone in the market for a new car. The showroom is very clean and inviting. The staff is friendly and willing to help. Lastly, I would like to mention that Charlie is extremely knowledgeable about the Honda products. I was deciding between the EX and Sport model Accord (I went with the EX and love it!). I had questions about each and Charlie was able to explain the features of each right down to horsepower and torque ratings. This is refreshing in an era where sales staff often do not know their product and really lack the knowledge to help you make an informed decision.

I purchased my Honda Odyssey here in 2015 and was disappointed with the level of care we received. The Honda was freshly cleaned and buffed and the circular brush marks all over the car made me question the salesman when he said, "Doesn't it look great?". No. It did not. Service is also very disorganized. Last week I brought my car in for a minor part and a check up which was only going to take an hour. 2.5 hours later they completed their work and scheduled a new appointment for today for 4 new tires, shocks, and a few other minor things. Cat reviewed all the items with me, made the appointment and when I arrived today I was surprised to learn she never input the major work into the computer. The service schedulers scrambled to find what needed to be completed. They realized they couldn't fulfill their promise and asked me to reschedule. No. I didn't clear my schedule today only to reschedule because of your mistake. They suggested a loaner car to me: an Accord. I have 5 kids. I'd be driving illegally. No. 3 strikes and you're out, Clinton Honda. Madison Honda, here I come.

I went to Clinton Honda to get an oil change and to address a recall. I was presented with four additional mechanic recommended services. (transmission and differential fluid change, brake fluid change and fuel injector service). I felt three were probably necessary and decided to have them done. Prepare to pay a higher price. The staff are pleasant and the waiting time was reasonable.

Really awesome service from really helpful people. I went in for an oil change and they found that my front brakes were bad. The person who was managing the service managed to get the whole service done super fast (I was waiting with the car) and at a really affordable cost to me. Was driving on a spare and needed fires ASAP. Called the service dept.and then was connected to parts who knew exactly what I was looking for and then special ordered them . The tires arrived the next day and was installed for me on a Saturday even though they were very busy. . My car feels better then ever and even got a big discount on the tires . Horrible experience. Totally scammed. Was given a true care deal. 34k for a 2022 CRV and 14,450 for my trade. When I text and call I am told the car that Truecar gave me the deal on does not exist. They also told me no car exists for that price. They only sell at MSRP. Then they did mot honor the trade offer and cut that number down even though they tell me the car is clean and looks great. Then they tell me the car they have is 5,484 dollars more. Same options and same everything except the color. Claimed there were options that had to be billed separately and were not included in the price.

A truly outstanding car buying experience - very smooth and easy. This dealership is an outlier from the mass of sketchy ones in the state. A 180 from all the shyster dealerships closer to the city and even those out here in "hick" Joisey. Joe Vizzi was great and the F&I gent, the individual that car buyers always dread most, was a super cool dude (chat Mark up about 80's Metal and big blocks). I highly recommend this dealership. Overall getting my oil changed was a great experience. They took my car right away and I had it back in about 45 minutes which is the fastest it has ever taken. No issues at all and everyone was very friendly and nice. I will be back again soon!

The Service department went all the way to check out my tire noise. Stethescope'd all 4 wheel bearings and checked all the tires. And they were able to diagnose a weird, rare tire affliction known as 'feathered tires'. No safety alarm, tires are fine, and the 'feathers' might even wear off. Truly the noise is slowly diminishing over time. I am very thankful the went the distance to insure that the car is safe and not in need of service. All free of charge. Great job Clinton Honda!

Went to the Clinton Honda just to have a spare key made. Service personnel could not have been more friendly. And while hanging outside waiting, had a friendly chat with two salespeople who were just being welcoming. Service also washed the outside of the car and wiped down the front counsel. Had an efficient and informative check during my visit. I went through a car wash with my wipers on accidentally. One stopped working. They informed me of the $75 diagnostic charge and then only tightened a bolt and did not charge me. They also checked my syncing problems on my CRV and determined my phone was not compatible and wrote out instructions to get a more consistent syncing. They sanitized my car when finished. Overall very pleased with performance and thoroughness.

Another bad experience at Clinton Honda. I was 0nce again reminded of why I hate coming here. I called yesterday about a key repair. I was told they have the parts, and it would be less than $99, for two keys. They gave me back 1 key and charged me almost $140. This dealer is a rip off. An hour and 45 minutes later, just got my keys back. I will say, after having to talk to 2 managers, they refunded $36, and they then repaired the key, no charge. They should have just been honest in the first place
Ms. Martinez - At Clinton Honda, our customers' satisfaction is paramount. We are sorry for the miscommunication, but to reiterate, the price for replacing keys BEGINS at $45 a key depending on the model and age of the vehicle which is why we ask that customers come in so we can examine the key before quoting. In reviewing our billing, we never priced out $140 for a single key but did honored the "over the phone" quote you received. We are sorry for the delays in cutting the keys but unlike a house key, a vehicle key cut does take some additional time. Very disappointed in the customer service at Clinton Honda. We bought a Honda Civic from them, had an accident 1 year later and the service we got was terrible. It sat in the shop for over six weeks, because they ordered the wrong part and by the time it was delivered it was a month later. The insurance refused to pay for the rental car after 30 days, and Clinton Honda was not willing to do anything to claim responsibility for ordering the wrong part and the back orders and the delays for the parts needed to fix the car. When confronted, they told me if they pay for my rental car they would have to pay for everyone’s rental car. Poor excuse for customer service. So I had to pay $375 for an additional 15 days of a rental car Because of their mistake in ordering the wrong part.

Hands down the worst experience I've ever had with a car dealership. After taking delivery of my car I had a temp plate on the car as I purchased it out of state. I am now 10 days into the plate being expired with still no resolution from Clinton honda. I have called the dealership numerous times, I spoke to Matty once who advised me she would speak to the DMV and call me back. Days later when I called again I was sent to voice-mail. Still have yet to receive a call back with any sort of idea when my car will be registered. Its always a good feeling paying a small fortune in monthly fees to watch the car sit in the driveway. Customer service at this dealership is horrendous. I finally called and asked to speak to a manager and the woman on the phone told me I could not speak to a manager and that apparently this woman Matty (who won't return my calls) was the only one I could speak to. If you enjoy absolutely atrocious customer service then this dealership is your 1 stop shop.

I was pleasantly surprised when the service department said NO CHARGE! I My Serpentine belt broke and the replaced for free. I did not remember that it was replace over a year ago and they could have just charged me. Very honest service department and will continue to take my Honda (with 230K) to Clinton Honda.

This is a review of their service department. I have not made any sales purchases to comment on that half. I also can not comment on value for money as I have not paid for any services there yet (warranty and safety recall only). I recently had two safety recalls pile up on one another over the summer. I have almost no free time so trying to schedule these things can be tedious. Clinton Honda is not the dealership I purchased my vehicle from, but they reached out to me due to having had service on my vehicle with them in the past. They called to remind me about the recalls and to ask if they could schedule the service for me. They arranged for drop off and pickup, and scheduled both fixes together to save time. I found that attention to detail to be very convenient as well as thoughtful. The staff was very accommodating when I needed to make a last minute cancellation. Check-in on the day of the service was easy and quick. Staff was super friendly. My car was ready in less than 3 hours. When I went to collect my vehicle, it just started pouring out so they pulled my van under cover so I wouldn't have to run into the rain without so much as even asking! In short, when you want fast, friendly, considerate service that takes your time and comfort into consideration, look nowhere further than this Honda dealer!

It had been years since I splurged on a new car. My last new purchase was in 2004 and I was more than ready for something new and more "up-to-date". I knew I wanted a smaller SUV type car and I had my eye on the Honda HR-V for months before actually going to look at it. I was so happy with my experience at Clinton Honda! Joe, Judy, and Alex were awesome! They were so friendly, kind, and patient and never pressured us. They gave us options and directed us to more economical choices. They really looked out for us, and made us feel like family. We drove through a rainstorm and it took an hour to reach Clinton Honda because of heave traffic on 78.. At first I was not in a good mood but the staff made the buying experience so enjoyable and stress free. Within a few minutes I knew that we made the right choice of going to Clinton Honda. I have been communicating with Joe Vizzi, the internet sale manager, for few days to get a quote for purchasing CR-V. The guy is so unprofessional and very rude to me. He is not able to recall our communications over the emails. I am very disappointed with Clinton Honda and wouldn't byy any car from their.

I had a great experience shopping at Clinton Honda, once again. This is my third leased Honda from Clinton Honda (my family's sixth), and I could not be happier. Stephen Williams, the sales associate that helped me find the car I wanted, was nothing short of spectacular. During price negotiations, he remained extremely patient, but also fair with his offers. I thought this may be a tedious day at the dealership (just because of the paperwork, calling my insurance company, etc.), but Steve really went above and beyond to make sure I was happy and out of there with my 2017 Civic Sedan as quickly as possible. Although it was somewhat of a quick trip, Steve was exceptionally thorough and did not miss a beat when making sure I left with nothing less than what I wanted. He was the epitome of personable and professional. I will ABSOLUTELY go back to Clinton Honda, and Stephen Williams, for any of my car needs. What a great experience!

We went to Clinton Honda to purchase an Odyssey mini-van. We met with Bill Butler and he was great to work with. HE was able to get us a good price and exactly the options we wanted. He answered my wife's questions and was able to get the paperwork together so we could take delivery when we wanted. Good experience all around. Would definitely go there again.

I was just looking but ended up buying another new Accord from Bill Butler and traded in my old Accord (which I had purchased from Bill 11 years ago to the day). He made the experience an enjoyable one. No pressure. Fully explained everything I needed to know and made it a quick and easy transaction. Made appointment to complete the deal and pick up the car and everything went smoothly. Car was ready and waiting and Bill set up various features of car, e.g., set up phone, and explained all features to me. Wish I could buy a new car more often and would do it through Bill. Final paperwork with Judy Meier was also quick and easy. Various warranty options were fully explained with no pressure. Went in determined not to purchase any of those options but walked out happy to have added on the extended warranty. Great experience all around.

In 2006, I purchased a new Honda Pilot from Sean at Clinton Honda. He was very attentive and knowledgeable, and was able to offer me a good price on the new car and my trade in. Additionally, he followed up with me after the purchase and was always available if I had any questions. I have regularly taken my car in for service at Clinton Honda, and have been very satisfied. The drive through oil change is quite convenient. For these reasons, I returned to Clinton Honda and just purchased a 2013 CR-V from Sean, and received the same excellent service that I had with my Pilot. I would recommend Clinton Honda to anyone interested in purchasing a Honda vehicle.
