Great job on helping close a deal. Very professional and customer friendly.

I’m a Real Estate agent and used to recommend this title service as a preferred service for my consumers. As of late, the quality of service has been poor. Communication as been poor. They show little urgency to close and they just don’t seem on their game or even that they care. I have had to answer questions that were answered already and get the hunch they are not reading their emails throughly, to me it feels careless. If the lack of communication and carelessness wasn’t enough of a reason to discontinue services, we had to track down my consumers proceeds and learned it was delayed due to their error and they did not notify anyone of the property actually closed/filed/or funded. To top it off, I have been waiting for 21 days now to receive my bcommission check. Again, they show no urgency have taken no ownership in the long delivery time and have not communicated with me of how or when it will be delivered and have offered no help to expedite my check. Thankfully this a small check. But my consumers was less than pleased to have to wait for an additional 2 days and a weekend. Unacceptable. I am personally removing them off of my preferred title list based on my most recent transaction.

Front staff at Volusia Title very friendly and competent. Staff handling closing great to work with before and during closing. Afterwards is a completely different story! Even a simple request for a document - one promised to me during closing but not sent - was met with such opposition you would have thought I was asking them to rework all of the closing documentation! Previous closing with Volusia Title went about the same - great before and during closing but I felt as though my request after closing was being a huge burden to them! And they owed me money! I finally gave up because it was just too aggravating to deal with them! Somebody would have to pay me to be party to using their services again!

One star.... Minus one star is zero. I thought because they were friendly at closing that all went well until we found out that they did not pay the homeowners insurance required at closing. Lapse of coverage forced us out of best price for insurance...ended up paying triple. Now they will not return our money without a receipt so they can pass a compliance audit. It's been a friggin year. What a joke!

I can describe this title company in one word. Incompetence. I had to chew the agent out to get her to do her job, and tell her how to do her job in order for us to close on time. I have bought and sold houses and have never had to deal with this level of incompetence before. They didn't even know when my closing date was when we were a week from closing. If your realtor recommends you use this title company, I recommend you find another realtor.

The best in the business ,very patient and professional would recommend them to everyone. So blessed to have them help me. Bless them all
