Pioneer Federal Credit Union Broadway Ave, Boise

Was willing to overlook the lack of ability in their technical systems but the incompetence of management was what finally forced me to close my account. I’ve worked with several credit unions in the valley and this was by far the worst.

After trying to work with this Credit Union for over three years I've decided to switch. I found their website very inferior to other credit unions and it was difficult to use especially since I had multiple accounts. I found their staff we're not very well trained and I often spent long times on hold while they tried to figure things out. Fees are high and frequent like "ID protect fee" on many transactions. Location information on their website was wrong and sent me to a branch that had been closed and gone for some time, which cause me to be late with the deposit and I had to pay a fee as a result of their mistake. This kind of thing over and over just made them too expensive and hard to work with. The people themselves were very nice and helpful and friendly and trying their best.

IF DONE MOST OF MY BANKING HERE AND IM PLANNING TO CONVERT IT ALL OVER HERE AT PIONEER. AMY, JEN AND THE WHOLE CAST IS GREAT. I TRY TO GET ALL MY FRIENDS AND CUSTOMERS TO GO START SOMETHING AT PIONEER FED CREIDIT. NEVER ONCE HAD A PROBLEM. TERRY

The broadway gals were beyond helpful and nice. They were very understanding and patient when working with boyfriend and I. They are a sister credit union to my home credit union out of state and they made the process easy and quick. We look forward to using them again! Thank you ladies!!

This is my 2nd auto loan with them and besides the competitive rates I get, I choose to stick with them because of the customer service specifically from Janae. She has made my life easier when buying both of my cars from out of state and handled the whole transaction just making me sign the papers. She answers all of my questions quickly and most importantly always follows through on what she says she will do. Janae rips!!! Until the next deal :)

I’ve banked with multiple establishments and Pioneer is by far the worst. I’ve struggled to make a payment on my auto loan since day one. The mobile app is one of the least user friendly I’ve used. Since the latest update I have not been able to make my payment from a separate account. I’ve spent hours on the phone trying to get it sorted, with most of it waiting for an employee get to me. I would like to give them money but they make it so difficult for such a simple task.

I love the staff who work this branch and am so grateful to have a location on Broadway. You guys have fantastic rates on CD's and loans and I love being greeted by name when I walk in the door. And the patience and teaching that my son is receiving as he manages his first debit card. Thanks. However I hate that I cannot call you direct and that I get routed to the home office who insists that I get an app to do my banking for me.

The Broadway branch crew rocks it. Always call me out by name as I walk in and the service is top shelf. Thank you Pioneer Federal!

Impossible to reach a live person . Tried chat and video chat which would not work with my app , Called and they kept me on hold from 4:30 to 5:00 pm and then just didn’t answer . This is absolutely ridiculous for a bank to handle customers . Gone to switch credit unions .

I love the girls at the broadway branch in boise. This is the only branch I will go to because of them. They will bend over backwards to help you in anyway. I tell everyone about them. They make me feel like I am the most important person there. They even asked me recently how my schooling was going. Thank Broadway Branch you are the best
