Patelco Credit Union E Stockton Blvd, Elk Grove

The 2 stars is ONLY because this branch is around the corner from me. This review should really warrant a 1 star. My wife and I went in to open up a new account (checking, savings, etc) and a signature line of credit. We were helped by a lady named Sheryl (Apologies if i got the name wrong) and we thought we were in good hands. The nightmare started when we were rejected for our line of credit. No problem, things happen but we inquired about what caused the rejected. Come to find out, they only ran my credit as the primary. We specifically told her to run my wife as the primary because I am in the process of rebuilding my credit. My wife went back to the branch apply with just her income and we thought we put this to rest. Today comes and we were curious to see if we were approved or not. We decided to call Patelco and the customer service representative advise us that they were not showing any documents relating to our request. The person who helped us at the branch DID NOT save the information that my wife provided and in turn, the under writers couldn't proceed. Nothing was accomplished. This is very concerning especially being a new customer. I am very disappointed in the level of service i have been offered by the branch representative. This has caused so many parties to have to be involved when it should have been a standard SOP.

Been a member for almost 20 years, couldn’t be happier with their services and customer service. From car loans, mortgages, checking/savings and investments for me and my child’s future. Everyone at the Elk Grove branch is amazing.

Hello I have many accounts with Patelco for going on 20+ years. Today I went into the bank in frustration and a big disappointment with Patelco. I got the run around on the phone, no return calls, long holds and so on! So I went in to turn in my paper work needed to refinance my refinance. Due to 1 beautiful woman named Chandra Tillman. Job truly well done! She was helpful with my frustrations and helped me to believe Patelco can be a trusted Bank. She cares about us knowing what we’re going through, wants us to be happy to be a Patelco Member. She was patient and she meant what she said and followed through. That’s when she went over and beyond to make us happy. I wanted her to know she did a fantastic job. Thanks you for a job well done. Your experience shows! I had an account with them in the past, none of my personal information changed. They closed my old account without my knowledge, upon trying to reopen an account they wouldn't work with me and wasted my time. I use to enjoy Patelco but I do not recommend banking with Patelco anymore especially at this branch

Worst bank I’ve ever opened. Planning to close it. They have held my funds 5 times! And somehow they keep thinking my check is a business check! They update their online banking every other month and makes it more complicated.

Today at Patelco, Candice helped us out so much. She was very pleasant to work with and explained everything to us in detail so we could get the best rates for what we we're doing. Also, we opened two additional accounts. Excellent customer service that we have had in a long time. I would definitely recommend going to see Candice she's excellent to work with.

This experience was the best customers I've had in a long time. Candice was friendly and super helpful when it came to refinancing my car. I was able to get a really good deal on my interest rate for my refinance. I've been banking with them for a few years now and they've never let me down. So much so that I decided to get a credit card as well with a really great interest rate. Thank you so much patelco you have a customer for life!

Better then any regular bank. Low interest rates for car and hone loans. Low or no banking fees. Can't beat a credit union!

Nice bank, they automatically closed my checking account while I was away at college because it wasn’t getting used enough and switched banks because it wasn’t convenient only location in Elk Grove and no drive up ATM.
