Great homes ours isn't completely yet but quality in the build is great. Tom Troutman is best salesman there to work with, straight forward and honest.

So excited when our park model finally arrived after many delays only to be so beyond disappointed. It was filthy .No one bothered to clean up at all. It took my wife and daughters all day to clean. Construction debris everywhere including the shower. The patio screen was taped to the floor with shoe prints all over it.Trim around the doors is horrible,, closet doors are missing, sheet rock finish is horrible. The list just doesn't stop and trying to get them resolved so far is like their quality control, none. If we had the opportunity to inspect it before shipping it would have not left the company . I know it sounds like l am carrying on but you pay this much for something you expect some quality.

So our park model arrived today. Super exciting right, what a let down. We expected some transportation damage and there was. However we also expected some sort of craftsmanship as well. It looks like my 12 year old did the painting, that's being nice. It looks like everything was thrown together in an absolute rush. There is dry wall repairs thru out that you can see thru the paint. I could go on and on. For something that was delayed for 6 months you would think someone somewhere would have shown some pride in there work, the work the quality inspector should be fired for allowing this unit to role out of the lot.

A great place to think about your next home the salesman there were great they basically let you look at the homes decide on what you want to do there was no pressure of sales or anything of that nature a great place to look for your next home

The salesman was very polite and answered all my questions to my satisfaction. My wife and I toured all the display homes on our own with no rush from anyone, kept notes on what we liked and was told to come back anytime if we have more questions.

Absolutely do NOT recommend this builder. Had nothing but problems during the building process, problems during setup and problems with workmanship ALL of which have been ignored by this company. Our roof has leaked in multiple places and the home was only 1 year old when this started. They installed wall lights, “forgot” to send the shades for the lights then claimed to not know what lights were installed, even with sending photos, so we had to pay for new lights. They didn’t send enough flooring transitions and even after the contractor told them they were short, refused to send more. They charge extra for the valances for the mini blinds that if you go to the big box hardware store and spend $30 for THE SAME BLINDS you get a freaking valance! We had a SIGNED CONTRACT stating our roof was supposed to be a 3:12 pitch. IT IS NOT EVEN CLOSE!!! We had a LICENSED BONDED ROOFER out to inspect the second leak since neither the dealer nor this so called builder would do anything and he used his pitch tool and measure the ENTIRE length of roof and nowhere along the whole 60’ length was it anywhere even close to 3:12. The steepest pitch he recorded was 1.75:12. This place is nothing but liars and cheats looking to screw over everyone they possibly can.

Before you buy a new home take the factory tour and learn how modern homes are built today with precision and more value for your money. Just visited again in Feb 2022 and the new office is amazing, new models now on display, and they are ready to help Southern Oregon rebuild and find affordable home ownership options. Under new management and ready to help.

Spoke with Mark the manager at the Albany location regarding a crack in the ceiling at the marriage line between the living room and kitchen after having the house less than a year. I understand now that it is no longer their responsibility after our walkthrough to have that fixed by them. However, less than a year of having the house we had many issues that needed to be fixed that were within our warranty from wiring issues to cuts in the flooring, Nails sticking out from the flooring, divits, leaks from the outside faucet, outlets in the kitchen had no power so when the inspector came through that we had to pay, he did not allow us to move in and we had to repay him to come back on a different day until it was corrected. Each time Palm Harbor send out a contractor to have these issues taken care of which it took months my husband and I had to work out which one of us would take a vacation days off, and the contractor did not show up that day. We lost a day of work. When they did show up the parts were ordered incorrectly so they had to reschedule. Again, another missed work day. Working with this company was an absolute nightmare! When I ask Mark did he know about all of this that our family had to go through. His response was no, and that's why they got rid of the person who was in charge of that department. Instead of saying because of everything we put you guys through, we will fix that crack, or at least offer to pay for half. The person that they got rid of was still a representative of Palm Harbor so they should stand by their company regardless. I hope you're reading this Floyd... Stand by your company. I would think twice before purchasing a home from them!!! Think of it as a car salesman. Once you purchase that car and take it off the lot, if you have any problems once you get it too your place you're out of luck.

Went to check out the homes.. my wife is a professional interior designer (master's degree) and was pretty blown away by not only the decor at the retailer but the overall design of the homes. (Homes Direct retailer is right across the street.) The livability and easy flow throughout the homes would make them very comfortable to own. We'll definitely take the factory tour to see the nuts and bolts of how they are built.. I hear it's pretty incredible.
