Stopped by here after work hoping to open a checking account, I left after standing in the front of the line for over 20 minutes while one slowly built up behind me without even being acknowledged of my presence, I mean I’m usually very forgiving in customer service, but for a bank with over 6 people behind the counter and no “welcome in” or “sorry about with wait” I was kinda blown away. Anyways, considering there is a review almost identical to mine from 2 years ago…if you are looking for good customer service and a local bank to open a checking account, I suggest going elsewhere.

Morgan Blankenship was amazing help on getting me approved for my loan. She made the process super fast and easy for me and I couldn't be more thankful.

Wonderful bank.. except I don't appreciate the overdraft fees for each transaction.. it should b a flat fee not each transaction.. it's totally ridiculous especially when ur a single mom of 2 and barely making it by month to month.. cuz then it makes it even harder for that person to b able to live with their income...

We've been members of the credit union for 40 years since they were a tiny little office over by the Bureau of mines. We've never had any problems getting car loans they've always been great fast and efficient, friendly.

Bad times. Hate to do this. Love local biz. Went in for a medallion stamp - very lax employees wasted my time and never served. Management needs to act here. Lazy lazy lazy. I was the only customer in the branch and was ignored forever. Bummer. Local needs to be reactive and appreciative. That’s what makes local cool. Today this branch screwed up. Hope they recover so I can adjust my review.

Austin is always the one to call. Today he proceeds to tell me that I’m 52 days late. Even after I pull up the email that shows I paid he tells me I’m wrong. That he’s not sure why we’ve had problems with the account, they seem to loose our insurance info too then expect us to pay for their insurance. I’ve had my agent call them multiple times. So after Austin puts me on hold he comes back to say their system had a glitch and they’re back dating payments. Main thing is with working in customer service the customer might not always be right but you don’t flat out say that to them. In the end Austin was wrong, I also have a car loan with Linn Co and they’re way better to work with. Never recommend being a customer with this bank

Excellent Staff. Very helpful every time despite my ignorance and lack of knowledge on the every changing systems and processes involved with auto loans.

I've had countless issues with this bank when travelling. Consistently get locked out of my account and have dealt with a blocked card more times than I should ever have to. Most recently a family members card stopped working and receives an error code anytime it is used. The best answer we've gotten from an employee is to wait until after midnight and see if it "resets". I wouldn't recommend this bank to anyone who travels or uses their card often.

Our family has had nothing but problems at this bank since we moved here. It took them three weeks to give us online access because they set up our accounts improperly to begin with, then we were treated with nothing but disdain and contempt every time we went inside. We thought we would try the drive-thru but they are continually rude there as well and constantly ask for our password through the loud speakers so everyone in the parking lot can hear. How is that secure??? We finally decided to end our relationship with this CWCCU when we had to problems with charges on one of our debit visa cards. They refused to file a claim on our behalf claiming it was Visa rules. That's a lie. We still have our accounts at our old bank and the rules have not changed in more than two years. After we left the bank we received a nasty phone call from Sarah in the admin office telling us that we would never get our money back and not to bother with trying to file a visa claim again. That was the aha moment when we realized our money would never be safe here. Just so you know, we have over $80,000 in this bank in our combined accounts, so it's not like we weren't significant customers. Some banks treat you poorly because you don't have much money and they don't care if they lose you as a customer, but this bank just generally treats everyone like garbage. We've tried the other two branches and they are just as nasty. We're already getting our money out of this nightmare.

I enjoy my visits to my bank. The staff is terrific. They know me now on sight. Greeted with a big smile and terrific service everytime. If your thinking of changing banks or just moved here and looking for a great bank with everything you need then check out Central Williamette Bank.
