I had received a number of letters from Oportun, stating that I was pre-approved for a loan. Like some people, I was reluctant to take advantage of the offer. I'm restoring an older foreign sports car, and could use additional funds to complete the project. Since I had a few hours to spare, I went to the local Oportun office. I spoke with Michelle about obtaining a loan. Michelle is very fluent in English, and Spinish. For anyone who's preferred language is Spanish, the Oportun office in Concord will be able to assist you. Oportun's process of obtaining a loan is very simple, and is not time consuming. Michelle was very knowledgeable, and provided exceptional customer service. Had I brought all the documents required to complete the loan process, it would have taken under an hour to obtain my loan. If you are not sure what documents are required, I suggest that you call Oportun before you go to their office. Michelle clearly explained what documents were needed, and I returned about an hour later. Michelle very quickly processed my application, and documents. Within half an hour I walked away with my loan check in hand. I was very pleased with the service provided by Michelle, and the Customer Service Representative I spoke to at Oportun's service center. All the details, and the options about the loan where clearly explained and easy to understand. If you are in need of a personal loan, I highly recommend Oportun, and their staff. In addition, Oportun offers auto financing. Based on my experience with obtaining a personal loan, I would consider Oportun for auto loan if I needed one in the future.

I worked here and it was a horrible experience. Managers having preferences for others. Alot of drama when it comes to hiring people they like, they will start drama with an employee if they do not oike that person just so they can quit! The new managers now are very petty and selfish. Upper management besides the area manager needs to check all these Managers because they are the worse.
