OneMain Financial 2nd St, Waite Park

This my second time working with Sam at One Main Financial. Sam listen to my goals, offered me 2 best options. I picked which option was the best for me financially. Sam helped me finish the paperwork and on the 3rd day, walked out with a check. Everyone is so friendly at the Waite Park location. They will try and find the best deal for you and they appreciate the business. It’s nice to have a place like this when you are in a pinch and need some funds to help you out. I take it gas lighting is the usual for them. I did an application, over the weekend, online and was told I would get a response within minutes and I did. When I recieved an email, It said congratulations you are approved. When Monday came, I got a call from them asking questions and was suppose to get a call back with in a couple hours. What happened? I mever got a call back. I ended up calling them to figure out why they haven't contacted me about my application. So when I got into contact with someone they ended deciding to deny my application.

People who cannot get a conventional loan should definitely try One Main. They are responsible and very helpful. Yes, the interest is high, but you know you put yourself in that position! Good people.

I have done business with One Main off and one for about the past 5 years, I have never missed a payment , in fact in December I was told I could borrow up to 11K, I only borrowed 7500 and I paid a large part of the loan off, I went to borrow 4K and was turned down for a loan, when I contacted the office I talked to Sam and he said it didn't make sense to either him or his manager as why I was turned down. Sam nor any employee from one Main in Waite Park returned any calls, I got the money I needed in 20 mins from the lending tree with a lot better rate, I will never do business again as there are better lenders out there - highly recommend lending tree

My experience was good. I didn’t expect to be approve initially, but then I qualified for a loan. I fill out the form like they asked, and I provided the documents needed. I got follow calls, and when I would call back, someone always the phone. I asked a lot of questions, and they answered all.

BEWARE OF THIS FINANCE COMPANY! I'd give no stars if I could. You'd think after getting a loan through One Main Financial and making every single payment on time would raise your credit score. No it doesn't through this company. They went to a different scoring system and in one month Vantage Score dropped it 70 points and they say that's what most lenders go by, which is a lie because my real bank a credit union goes by the score which is close to the FICO Score and is 70 more points than this VANTAGE SCORE. BEWARE IF you're score drops by that much no other lender will give you a loan. Except these guys because they know that you are an outstanding customer that's made all their payments. So they will offer you a loan at ridiculous interest rates that are interest accruing on a daily basis. It's how they stay in business screwing you over so you can't go anywhere else but through One Main Financial. Take it from me I've been trying so hard to build up my credit and these guys messed it up. In less than one month they dropped my credit score by 70 points that is so horrible to do to anyone. BEWARE IF YOU DON'T WANT YOUR CREDIT SCORE TO DROP. Even if you made every single payment on time!
