Jonathan was super rude and condescending when I asked a question that I supposedly “missed in his previous response”. Clearly, customers have questions and even though it may have been a “dumb” question, there was no need to belittle me. When I told him I would like to cancel my application because of his behavior and attitude, he kept asking how he was being rude like he wanted to argue with me. Because of that reason and the vibe I received from Jonathan, I will be taking my business elsewhere. Jonathan, if you’re having a bad day or don’t like your job - FIND A DIFFERENT ONE!

I had a talk with Jordan and she was wonderful. She explained my loan to me and was so friendly and professional. I definitely would recommend this establishment if in need of some cash that you KNOW you can handle the rate and pay schedule. You are bound to have a bad experience if your ability to pay is unstable. Pay your bills!!

Once I was able to get a hold of someone, my loan process went very quick. I was happy with the service. Thank you!

They asked for information, brought in the same exact info and the answer was completely different. They used to be great but I would reccomend a different lender.

Came through when I needed some money.

I would not recommend taking a loan out through One Main Financial in general, but DO NOT go through this St. Louis Park location. Even if you call during business hours, no one will pick up the phone. You will have to leave a voicemail, and they will usually only call you back if it pertains to you taking out a loan. I have tried calling multiple times throughout the course of my loan, and no one will call me back. Everything is done online, which isn't a problem if you never need anything. Their communication with customers is terrible, and I have heard now since getting a loan, that this is not uncommon. The reason I would not recommend taking out a loan through One Main Financial is because their loans accrue interest daily, which means if you make a $200 payment, over 50% will go to paying your interest. It takes FOREVER to pay off your loan, even if you make dedicated payments.

I was told my application was approved, then I went in and provided all documents as requested, then was told I needed more and to reschedule. Then I tried numerous times/methods and didn't hear anything back until I filed a BBB complaint, where I got an email saying my application was declined. Very stressful and a waste of time, go somewhere that doesn't play games with you.

They helped me when I really needed it. I was able to pay off my credit report!

Great staff, good location, and a professional non-conventional lending firm.
