I’m from NJ but this is my families go to location in NC. They have unique jewelry for awesome prices. The customer service is also outstanding. The store manager Val is both knowledgeable and personable. Dontae is also excellent and why I chose 5 stars.

Best pawn shop I’ve ever been to. Bar none. The store manager is hilarious & has great taste in TV shows but my boy Zack is awesome. Salt of the Earth guy who’s well versed in video games & just an overall good dude. They work with you and give you a very fair price for what you bring in. Put it this way: If you don’t like what they offer, trust me, you won’t get better anywhere else so you may as well take it bc other pawn shops will offer a lot less. Take my word & GO CHECK THEM OUT!

Zack, the manager, is the worst employee National Pawn has. Stay away from this location. The other locations are willing to negotiate, especially based on how much I’ve spent here. He was very rude how he communicates and handles business. I will never come back to this location.

This is definitely one of the best pawn shops in the area. They put a fair price on everything and they are very knowledgeable. I've worked with Val, Dontae and Max and all three of them are some of the best in the business who provide top notch costumer service every time.

Val the Store Manager is completely awesome. He was a great help to me in a very tough situation. This company needs more people like him here and Val should receive a big boost or big bonus. I will definitely be returning to this location and giving Val my business and recommend my family and friends to ask for Val as well. I did appreciate everything that Val did for me.

Today I went into national pawn to sell an item and this was the worst experience ever. I told the representative my offering starting selling price which was $350.00 and the lady (Ariel) was trying her best to help but needed a second opinion regarding the price. So another representative came over (Val) and was by far very disrespectful by being very loud talking not using his inside voice. He asked me in a very disrespectful tone, “where did I get the price of $350.00 from?” Mind you he never said hi or anything like I’m so surprised at the lack of customer service given. So we proceed and I was offered a terrible price for the item I was selling. I told him he was coming off strong with his bad energy and he was still nonchalant. When I left he didn’t even say thank you, have a great day, nothing at all. I left feeling very disrespected and treated in a way that I didn’t deserve. It really doesn’t hurt to be kind to people because you truly never know what someone may be going through. By far disappointed in this location on new bern …

Each time I visit this location, they have always been very helpful. Rather it be a purchase or a loan, they get it done for you. Bryan and Maria have always displayed great customer service. I met Dante today for the first time and he was amazing with handling my transaction. It is always a pleasure coming to this location.

I have been to this pawn shop a few times now and I always have great customer service from Charles Phillips. All of the staff is nice and they remember me every time I come in. They are all quick, efficient, and are always friendly. I used to have a bias against pawn shops, but this one is nice, well managed, clean, and respectable. I will definitely be back!

Initially we went to have a ring fixed, Max informed us that they didn't specialize in jewelry repair he recommended a reputable jewelry store that could, as it turns out it's fixed, thanks Max. Absolutely Terrible i got a loan on my chain and once picked up it broke i waited until the next day to reach out because they were closed. With that being said i cant be hepled all because i just got off work wanted to get home and excited to open what was a disaster 😡😡😡 if the owner is seeing this i would like some help please. Also the guy who answered the phone wasn’t at all helpful and did nothing to help

VAL on the other hand is RUDE, ARROGANT, & Really makes me feel like he looks down on me & other guest visiting store. I really feel you guys need to talk with him about " cherry picking " customers that walk into National Pawn. His whole attitude is horrible!!!!
