I was transferred here from another company. Immediately there were problems. They were hard to contact and had two different stories on why my last mortgage payment wasn’t transferred, although their computer said that it did. Then, before I could get any answers, they sent a notice via registered mail that I “needed to contact them to avoid a serious situation”! Further, it discusses short sale or for closure. I have never been late on a payment. If anyone is experiencing the same problem, post here, I have retained a real estate lawyer. Perhaps a class action against them will help them to be more responsive and figure out how to care for their business and customers. I expect that they may change their practices by the time a letter gets to the right person.

I have made 8 transfers in the first 3 months to pay my Mr. Cooper Mortgage Mr. Cooper AutoPay has failed 4 time and succeeded the 5th time. Fidelity BillPay has succeeded twice (with great delay on the part of Mr. Cooper to credit the funds) and failed the 3rd time, with the funds going missing. This last transaction appears to be the one with an extra 0 in the number, though I can see no evidence of that in the Fidelity system. I’m paying the late fees now. There online support has been very bad. There auto operator has tried to sell me insurance and security systems. They have great difficulty setting up the mortgage for the first payment (recommended to pay with a paper check the first payment. They have virtually no ability to correct or identify problems with payment. $2,100 of my funds are still missing.

They took over the servicing of my loan and failed to make the tax payment out of my escrow account. My account is now delinquent and a penalty has been added. I am sure this has a negative effect on my credit score. When I called about this it took at keaat an hour and I have little confidence it will be taken care of.

The worst mortgage company, every time I send my payment they apply it to the account and they reverse it?!! for just one simple payment they make 12 transactions to me this is very suspicious this company is not trustworthy.

Deserves 0 stars! Paid off mortgage and Mr. Cooper said it would take 60 days to notify the credit reporting agencies! in addition, very poor customer service! Stay way from this company if you can!!!

I have been a real estate professional for almost ten years and Mr. Cooper by far is one of the worst mortgage companies I have ever had to deal with. Juan Salceda is a terrible loan officer. He provided almost no communication to our team during the transaction and then drops the ball on my buyer six days before closing that he is unable to complete the loan, due to reason we still do not know/understand. It is so ironic as Juan Salceda’s voicemail stats “we strive to provide excellent customer service” yet he left my team and my buyer in the dark throughout the entire process. Mr. Cooper is a volume type of mortgage company that can care less about their customers. Do yourself a favor and use another mortgage company.

I would give them zero if I could. The WORST customer service I’ve ever experienced. Got a threatening letter regarding my homeowners insurance (long story) and when I called the number given to ask questions and resolve the issue, all I got was advertising trying to sell products, then it would disconnect! Took me over an hour to actually speak to a “real” person after having looked up other numbers on the Internet. Then I had to go through 2 other people before I got the issue resolved. Of course, there was an oversight on their part! Whole process took close to 2 hours. Plan to file a formal complaint with the FTC.

Wish I could give zero stars worst mortgage company and really bad management. My loan was sold to Mr. Cooper and I was paying my home loan, I refinanced my place and needed switch to my new Lender company. so I went online and turn off my autopay, I got autopay cancel request confirmed email but nothing happen few weeks even its say autopay tuned off effect immediately. So I spork with Mr Cooper lady on the phone and she said she turned off my autopay however after couple weeks still autopay is on. Mr. Cooper customer service does not exist and they are total lier. also I got bunch of scam calls right after. stay far away from Mr. Cooper!!!

I tried to refinance with Mr. Copper and what a disaster. When the process was starting on its sixth week I knew something was wrong. I went with another company and had my refinancing done in three weeks with a competitive rate. The communication is trouble don't waste your time.

How is this company still in business after so many 1 star reviews? Zero stars. My mortgage was sold to this company without my consent and now I am stuck dealing with them harassing me about a missing payment during the transfer, which according to my previous loan company was paid. Contacting the Better Business Bureau about their practices and lack of customer service. Apparently they got caught stealing payments under another name.

My previous mortgage company transferred/sold my loan to these people. I was notified one day after I made my online payment to the previous company. Three weeks later my payment still has not been applied. In addition, I called their customer service and had to hold for more than 30 minutes just to speak to someone. HIRE MORE PEOPLE! Jeez!

First Mister Cooper has 2 companies Lakeview and Mister cooper, it will take a long time for them to answer you ho is the other company, They took over the servicing of my loan, now 6 mounts later they rise my payment because they did escrow análisis and found that it is short and they adding to the monthly payment. !!!!!!?????….

Not sure how they are in business. For the last 2 months, I have erroneous charges, reversals, missing payment postings and fees on my dashboard. None of the folks know what they are doing. They are unable to do a simple loan recasting and have messed up the loan.

I have had fairly positive interactions with Mr Cooper, and Judy from the so Cal branch was quite straightforward and honest. With the rates at historic lows, you can expect either low rates plus higher fees or vise versa. I remain a loyal customer and hope to have my mortgage paid off in 10 years. Thanks for honesty

Really disappointed. I was looking for a cash out refinance, Mr. Cooper was my mortgage company. The loan officer neglected to use a recent appraisal and comps, then overshot the estimated value of the home. I paid for an appraisal and was told the appraisal came in too low. Next thing you know, my mortgage was sold to another company without much notice. The loan officer and his supervisor are not returning calls or emails. Mr. Cooper is now holding my appraisal hostage and preventing me from going through another lender. I have been forced to call state of WA finance to report them.

Wow. One star is way too generous for this company that steals your money. My previous mortgage company, Midland Mortgage, was a heaven's sent. Never had any issues with payments or anything of the sort. Then we switched to Mr. Cooper a few months ago and its been a HEADACHE ever since. They STEAL YOUR MONEY AND WONT GIVE IT BACK!!! They stole over $5,000 from me and even after phone calls and emails they still will not give us our money back. They don't answer their phones and when they do they hang up immediately. They will not take your emails seriously even after TONS OF PROOF. I cannot wait to get my lawyer involved in this mess and settle it once and for all because this is disgusting to steal from middle class families, ESPECIALLY DURING A PANDEMIC. MR. COOPER, YOU SHOULD ALL BE ASHAMED OF YOURSELVES. I cannot wait to refinance and get rid of you, you disgusting frauds. STAY AWAY FROM THIS MORTGAGE COMPANY IF YOU CAN, THEY ARE COMMITTING FRAUD.

ZERO STAR! The WORST customer service EVER, because there is NO customer service at all. I called from 10 in the morning, and the WHOLE day could not get anyone on the phone to help with my loan. ABSOLUTELY the WORST!! STAY AWAY FROM THIS BANK!

If there was the option of minus 0 I would go with that. This is the worst servicing company ever, they should be ban to service any loan. If your loan was transferred to them, RUN and refinance ! They have no clue of what they are doing, their customer service representatives, "supervisors " , are so under qualified .

I highly disappointed they couse my credit scores down but I already to let them to autopay from my bank after approval they didn't took money from. My account and claimed not paying for August after payment they reported to credit companies I tried to remove it but they didn't stay to my record for 6 years and causing impact my credits that I stay with them for 6 years till I. Find another company they are thief never trust them before they destroyed your credit and you stay with them and pay high interest years stay away
