As we all know, buying a car these days is no joke. We loved our Discovery but have been looking for a third row SUV, and the Atlas was at the top of our list. When we found this car online we were excited to go check it out. Johnny was easy to work with and very patient with us as we had a 2.5-year old and 5-month old in tow. He was fair with our trade in value and got us in and out of there with no issues. Shawn in finance was quick and to the point, making the paperwork as painless as possible. We left feeling confident with our purchase and love our new family car!

Johnny H kept me informed regarding the incoming 2022 Atlas and because of keeping promises which is challenging for many dealers I picked it up today. He's very knowledgeable with the vehicles and he's a car enthusiast like myself so that's the best kind of salesperson to talk to. Financing was also quick. Sorry I forgot her name.

The best VW dealer in socal! I scoured LA and OC to find a great deal on a preowned Tiguan and I bought it here. They don't have any add-ons that balloons the out-the-door price like many other places these days. High integrity organization that is part of the Penske group. Made a loyal customer out of me. Highly recommend working with Kevin Perez if you are interested in a VW. Very friendly, patient, and professional. He will not bombard you with text and emails like some others do. As for the car purchased, it was a 2021 Tiguan S with only 13k miles on it that was used as their service loaner vehicle. The car is super clean, runs like new, and they topped off the gas before we left the lot with it. Excellent car buying experience. Happy to give them my business.

John Weber helped me find my first car. He was patient and attentive by being accommodating throughout the whole process. In January, I went into Volkswagen South Coast to place an order for a 2019 Golf R. Upon arriving, I was assisted by Jim Wren. I was new to the whole experience of ordering a car to be built and Jim was very helpful. Throughout the entire process, Jim kept in touch with me giving me updates on the car (when it was commissioned, built, shipped, etc.). The car finally arrived last week and I completed the transaction this weekend. Again, Jim was very helpful with finishing paperwork, having accessories installed, and storing the car inside until I could pick it up. In addition to Jim Wren, we were assisted by Rick Dominguez for final checklist items before my wife and I drove off in the new vehicle. Rick was incredibly thorough in making sure I understood all of the features since this is my first VW. I would highly recommend Volkswagen South Coast for anyone looking to purchase a new VW. I was in need of a car like yesterday, I got connected to Johnny Huang virtually, Johnny was nice from the begging, when i came in to the dealership he already had the car ready to go for a test drive. My expectations went through the rough with the customer service, car choice, finance. He did everything and anything to get me in this car. Needed a new bigger car for my growing family. I was recommended to look at a new tiguan by my brother and I came to south coast VW to look at the SUV. The sales man Juan was great and very patient with me. I always have a million questions and I'm very indecisive about what I really want. Juan was very patient and helpful with all my questions and I felt very welcomed. I had the best, least stressful, car purchasing experience at South Coast Volkswagen last night! I had been to 2 other VW dealers in the last 2 weeks, trying to purchase my leased Jetta. The VW dealer in Irvine wouldn't do the lease buyout unless I purchased a $1000 "service contract", and the other VW dealer in SJC said they only worked with VW Credit and said the only loan they got me was w/VW & for TWICE the APR as my pre-approved bank loan!! WTH?!? So, reluctanly I called South Coast VW to see what they could do. I was so happy that I called - I dealt with Kevin Perez (sales) - he said "We don't make you buy a service agreement, and we work with many different lenders (even my bank), and we don't play games". I went in to the dealership yesterday evening, and spoke with Kevin about purchasing my leased Jetta. He was able to get me a better APR than my Bank pre-approved loan, with a reputable bank! He did not try to sell me something I did not want, there were NO hidden "fees" and they did not even charge me a Doc Fee!! I was there a little over an hour. The showroom is beautiful, clean, peaceful. The entire staff was a joy to deal with - the ladies in the office, the General Manager, the Finance people - all really nice people. Kevin said South Coast VW feels the relationship they build with their customers is more important than them trying to make a buck on a lease purchse. He's right! I'm bringing my Jetta in to South Coast VW for service this week, and will definately be purchasing my next VW in a year from their dealership. I highly recommend South Coast VW if you are looking for an honest dealership that does not play games!

Went in to look around just to see what cool car they had only been building my credit for 7 months and was able to get a GTI derek bowe was an amazing sales guy helped me out alot. He told me he could get me a deal and he made it happen. I've been shot down by many dealer like subaru and Volkswagen helped me out. They definitely earn themselves a customer for life. For me it's that they gave me a chance without a co signer to prove that I am able to pay for it was the big plus for me in my books. Really can’t say enough about my experience at this dealership. Doug the manager and Jamie who took care of the transaction were so professional. Jamie made the entire experience effortless for me. I spent 30 minutes with him, had to leave for meeting, came back one hour later, car was detailed, ready to pick up. Another 20 Minutes signing paperwork in finance with Daniel, who was also amazing to work with, and i was on my way. The dealership is pristine, very nice, and comfortable. Visited VW South Coast for my usual service maintenance and it was an outstanding experience as anticipated. I made an appointment online a few days earlier, got the day and time I needed and once I arrived the entire process was quick, as contactless and safe as possible not to mention how accommodating and friendly the staff was to me. My service advisor Eric Lopez was awesome also as usual and made sure i was able to apply my special coupons that Vw sent me and ensured I was having the main concerns with my car addressed and also was able to make sure I knew that I was ahead of schedule on my service which I appreciated. This advisor is always up front, very professional and friendly and gives the brand a good image of what a top notch service advisor truly is!

When I first walked in I wasn't planning on buying a Volkswagen, as I had just come from many other dealerships and was exhausted and I'm not too big on German cars. However, this dealership is like no other, it is very stress free and there is no pressure to add on extras and they were very transparent with each configurations of each car. I had the pleasure of working with Marianne who helped me find the car of my need at the budget I came in with. Marianne was very patient and nice with me, even when I wasn't nice myself and helped me connect with the finance department flawlessly and easily. Marianne put my fear of German cars costing a lot to maintain at ease by explaining their warranty options and what were to happen if something were to happen to the car. This dealership is like no other and I highly recommend at least having a look here and working with Marianne if possible.

Very pretty. But I dont like Volkswagen. Can't afford the repairs. They have a water fountain that can fill your bottle. It's amazing and hope others will do the same..

Terrible terrible customer service!!! Literally the WORST!!! Dropped of my car for service on Thursday and check engine light was on due to a turbo issue and they said the car hast to be here till god knows when and didn’t offer a loaner car and said they have no car available at this time. I have been spending so much money just to commute to work and seem like they don’t even care about their customers. Didn’t even tell me when my car is going to be ready. So disappointed at VW and specially Penske!!!! NEVER gonna come back to this dealership.

I purchased a door seal for my Volkswagen and two clips for my already installed door seal. The clips were great and so was the door seal but the door seal came with clips that kept falling off. I asked them to take 30 seconds to check if the clips are incorrect to validate warranty on the seal. Instead, they tell me to pay $157 for a technician to check. I asked for a refund as they promised they would and then the manager said it was 15% restocking fee. They didn't honor the refund nor took time to verify their part is valid. I will just buy the remaining clips elsewhere (I can purchase twenty clips for what cost me to purchase two at this dealer...unbelievable). The management style appears unethical. I am extremely disappointed. They rather fight you over a few pennies than treat you right.

Such a disappointing service experience . Took my 95 year old moms can into get it checked over. The service agent Eric told us he could look up records from any dealership for past service. What a lie. My husband said he could get the records from the car or call me for the records to verify. Nope said Eric - I got you covered! In reviewing the records the next morning - the car had the exact service completed by Norm Reeves VW less than 2 years ago and less than 3,000 miles from the date of service at Norm Reeves. Guess their "look up" service isn't very good - convenient enough. In addition, Eric told us an airbag light wasnt covered by the recall and charged us $400 to fix it. Turns out it was covered by a recall. Why do this - its so unethical! Called several times to get some kind of discount or refund for work that clearly didn't need to be completed. It took 3 weeks and repeated calls for the service manager to offer $40 off our next service. REALLY - from a $1,300 un necessary repair? Wow - we used to take all out VW cars for service there before the dealer name switched - with the name switch came the shoddy and un scrupulous service. Never again - buyer beware. They just cheated my 95 year old mother out of $900 dollars - who does that? South Coast VW does that's who.

Normally all dealerships are the same to me but after a horrible experience at McKenna VW (they sold me a certificate preowned Atlas a week prior with a rats nest in the engine) I have a new appreciation for Southcoast VW. We purchased a new Atlas from Southcoast a week after the rat Atlas incident and we so impressed by this dealership. Not all dealerships are the same! Southcoast does it so much better! Worth going out of your way to go here. Also Kevin in sales and Sean in finance were great to work with and have continued to be super helpful even after purchasing our new vehicle.

I found Jaime Perez to be one of the most professional sales people I have ever dealt with when buying a new car. The service was great! I can always tell when my car has been serviced in a good location. My car drives much better than before the service. The service rep was very nice and was able to explain the urgent needs of my car without trying to make me spend a lot of money. He helped me decide what’s best for my car. Beginning of September, I was in a tough spot for buying a vehicle. I explained my situation to Daniel Escareno and he immediately went to work. He not only answered all my questions but gave me scenarios for each vehicle, no excuses. Hard working from the start. When it came down to purchasing the vehicle my credit score fell short from what I excepted. However, he suggested on ways to improve and raise my score. Thanks to his suggestions my score increased by 46 points and came back in December. I have to say Daniel worked out a great deal for a 2020 VW SE Sedan. I've had to bring my 2013 Passat TDI in a few times because, let's face it, it's 7 years old and some parts will fail. The guys have been great, and I've gotten my car back in a timely manner. I would highly recommend this dealership to anyone looking for a VW, or just bringing it for service.

OK… I know this is gonna sound like I’m being paid by the dealership because there’s no way a car dealership could be so honest and so easy to work with!!! But here goes…so I cannot say enough great things about Johnny, Anya and the man behind the curtain…you know who you are! I test drove several models of used cars bounced back-and-forth between exterior and interior colors. They stayed well after closing to make sure I was happy. I got up in the morning came back and I was there when they opened. I changed my mind again to a completely different car and the whole time they were cool and completely transparent! They were kind and sympathetic to my emotional attachment to my last car. They really could not have done anything more for me! I’m so happy another dealership in another city had such a jerk for a salesman that we decided to run away from him and keep looking!!! I was on the hunt for the 2022 Atlas Cross Sport and had visited many VW dealerships, but my initial experience with Kevin Perez was by far the most enjoyable, so I decided to purchase from this location. I am glad that I chose Volkswagen South Coast to solve my 2014 Passat TDI Adblue issues. Not only the service people are friendly, their technicians know exactly how to fix the car problems. I have a 2007 Volkswagen Passat V6 3.6 with 93K miles. After 20-25 miles of drive it shows up shifting delays, grinding when accelerating, and a feeling of shakiness. I take it to Volkswagen Dealership Santa Ana on 03/17/2022. The recommendation was made to do the diagnosis. After a couple of days, they send me a list of services. Almost all service was not related to a transmission issue. Here I am writing the service report recommendation (Clean throttle body Found fault stored in the ECM P 9078 idle flow to low. Recommend cleaning throttle body. Test drove the vehicle for shifting concern and could not duplicate customer concern. Any faults in ECM can cause shifting issues, recommend repairing ECM faults. They charge me $487.63 for this job. I pick up the car on 03/23/2022 and drive from Santa Ana to Fullerton there was still the same shakiness and shifting issue. I call to service advisor, he said to bring it back tomorrow. I left the car again with them for two days, I got texting saying the car is ready. After the second pick-up, I drive for 15-20 miles and the issue was still there. I bring it for 3rd time. As I get to the Dealership car give me an engine light and parking brake light and was not able to drive more than 20-speed. On 03/31/2022 slapped me with this text (WE FOUND INTERMITTENT P0733 GEAR 3 INCORRECT RATIO STORED IN TCM RECOMMEND REPLACING TRANSMISSION FOR INTERNAL FAILURE. TRANSMISSION COST IS $6451.78 AND LABOR $1741.40.). I don't know should I believe them? Before they were not able to find transmission problems, now the whole transmission is the problem.

Olias just gave me the best and easiest and quickest experience ever. Usually buying a car can be dreadfully time consuming and by the time you get everything done, you barely have any day left. Not this time around, aside from the minor inconvenience outside of VWs hands, the experience took no more than 2.hours. everyone was friendly, welcoming, thoughtful, cordial and to the point. I also think the casual dress style they had going on over the labor day weekend.made even more welcoming. Scheduled maintenance for my work vehicle which is hard to get time to do due to traveling so much. Set it up a week in advance to do the 50k maintenance and replace the windshield as it had a pretty major crack. Show up to the day of the appointment,Monday, to find out they never ordered the windshield. Rescheduled everything for Friday. Drop my car off and receive notification 4 hours later that the company the sublet windshield replacements out to had scheduled it for the following Monday. I am nice enough and tell them I can give them some extra time but it needs to be done by the end of the weekend. Either they do not care or made no effort to make good on their promises since as of Sunday my car still is not back in my hands. So after screwing up once you could not bother to make sure everything was scheduled right the second time and screwed me out of more work time due to your incompetence. I would highly recommend no one use this service department as they can not even do the basic due diligence.

Best experience ever buying a car. We walked in just to look. We ended up buying my daughters first car. Daniel was amazing, he explained everything in detail to us. We had been shopping around and other places, sales guys were very pushy and watching us like hawks. Not him he allowed us to view the cars and take our time. I highly recommend this Volkswagen dealership. I visited and spoke to a total of 3 dealerships before sticking to this one. I had the amazing Kevin Perez help me out with my new lease. I told him I wanted to try and get everything done over the phone and email before coming into the dealership and he was more than happy to accommodate my request. Within a few hours I got the deal I was looking for, set up a time to stop in, signed the paperwork and left the dealership with my new car within two hours. Not only was Kevin such an amazing help in getting my car, so was Gilbert. Overall, this is one of the best dealerships I have visited.

I was told by the advisor Jesse Caron I would receive a text when my car would be ready along with anything that needed to be replaced! He mention that they closed at 2pm that day and if my car wasn't picked up before that time I would have to wait until the next day to pick up! With that being said I DID NOT receive a text let alone a phone call saying that my car was ready! What if I was not aware that you closed at 2 that day? I'm glad I took it upon myself to show up 15 min before closing! Funny thing is Jesse made it a point to say that customer surveys were very important, guess not!

I'm the owner of a 2013 Golf: my tech was Jamie. I went in for a particular malfunction in the engine to be diagnosed and it was fixed same-day. I also had my tires rotated which was done without issue. They even washed my vehicle. There was an issue with the engine straightaway from the dealership, so I turned around and took it back to my technician. They paid excellent attention and had the second issue fixed promptly. Customer service was characterized by open communication and timely work, with excellent response to their own errors. Highly recommended; will return.
