MOUNTAIN CREDIT UNION Hendersonville Rd, Fletcher

I have bank with MCU for several years. I have financed 2 vehicles and a home with them paying a vehicle and the house off. I fell on hard times last year after losing my job at a local manufacturing company in Fletcher NC. I ended up having to file Chapter 7. I did a reaffirmation agreement to keep MCU out of my bankruptcy. After signing my agreement with their attorney. I started making my payments and end up paying more than the agreement. They added their attorney fees and didn't bring my account current as agreed upon. I also was charged a courtesy fee everytime for making my payments afterwards. Please be mindful of where you put your hard earned money!!!! They are criminals in my opinion! Also know that they automatically cross collaratulize any loans with out your knowledge.

Recently financed a car with Mountain Credit Union and it was such a pleasant experience. Bailey set me up with a savings account and Laura helped me work out a loan. They were both delight to work with! Highly recommend.

These guys are always kind, courteous and knowledgeable. Would highly recommend this branch to anyone.

Really friendly and helpful staff, and so much cheaper than the for-profit banks. For example, If you overdraw your account to get gas, they don't even charge you an overdraft fee (?!)...that is the nicest thing I have ever heard of a bank doing! Other places will charge you $35 or more...hitting the little guy when they are down (overdraft fees are a multi-BILLION dollar industry for heartless corporate American banks). They have great rates on loans that cannot be beat. Even if you use regular banks, it is always good to have accounts in a credit union, and this one is the best in the area for locals, imho. They have 3 branches, depending on what side of town you are on, and a phone app which is really helpful, and makes it easy to keep track of transactions... Highly recommend!

I've been banking with Mountain Credit Union since 1992 and I've always received excellent service. I recently reduced my auto loan interest rate by more than 3% and lowered by credit card interest rate by almost 15% with MCU. WOW! Thank you for saving me so much money! I look forward to many more years.

Very helpful and amazing customer service. I was having trouble with my non-mountain credit union account and they were able to help me and saved me a lot of time, money, and frustration. I don't even have an account with Mountain credit union but if I was local here I would not hesitate to get one. Thank you!!!

I have been with MCU of Fletcher for 11 years and only wish I had made the move sooner. I generally deal with Heather but everyone there makes you feel like family. I can't say enough good about that office. Don't EVER leave town.
