    I have always liked this bank until now. Had fraud charges on my account and they want to charge me $5 for a new card. The lady Amanda told me I had already had a free cards for fraud charges. When I asked her when she said in 2019! Yes, I did get 2 cards in 2021 for lost/stolen. Seriously fraud was not my fault. Kinda felt like I was going into a strip club as she is wearing such a low cut tank top doesn't look professional at all for a bank teller. She was just rude the way she said I'd already been giving too many free things. I did get attitude from there which didn't help.

    Mountain America is very good at working with their members to find solutions with loans and I appreciate that service. However, their app makes me verify my phone almost every time I try to sign in. I have received way too many texts and have had to name my device too many times. Their app is a waste of time and bad service, if I wanted to get this many texts I'd sign up for spam.

    I have banked with Mountain America credit union for several years now. Opened my account in Utah and I’m now in Idaho. Between both states I have never had a bad experience. My most recent experience with them has been above and beyond amazing. I was looking into purchasing a dirt bike. I spoke with a young man by the name of Joe Knight. He helped me through the entire process and even gave some insightful advice to make sure I was completely satisfied with the credit union. The loan process was extremely simple and literally felt like it took minutes to know if I was approved. I look forward to doing more business with them in the future for all my banking needs. I can’t thank all the kind faces that work at my local branch enough for their hard work and commendable customer service.

    They're very friendly every time I do business with them. I particularly appreciate the convenience of picking up a cashier's check, for my monthly rent, at the drive through. They've taken extra care of me when I've forgotten to take my credentials out of the container after sending the signed receipt back to the teller. They called me to let me know they had my drivers license & bank card. Thank you, Mountain America Credit Union! You've earned my trust completely!👍

    IF I COULD GIVE 0 STARS I WOULD!!!! My fiance has been a customer for a few years and up until this last month and a half, haven't had any issues. He tried to transfer money from an investment account. Many steps and problems along the way. Constantly being told that they see the transfer and the money will be available the next day. He went into the branch in person everyday for a week with multiple conversations and conference calls, still to be told they are getting it resolved and the money will be available. He was told they could see the money pending in his account off and on for two/three weeks and it will be available once their system cycled through. At this point, giving up on any resolution, have to have the investment account retract from their end and go to a different financial institution. This has completely skrewed up our life for the past month. They told us things and never followed through with it and we both lost trust in them especially with his money. He got told over and over again "it will be in your account tonight or tomorrow" or "someone will call you to get this fixed" and still we sit here with his money not in his account. It's ridiculous that it's been dragged on for this long. Nothing has been done other than "we will contact IT department". He shouldn't have to go in every day just to make sure they are keeping up on this issue. It's not a small amount of money either. We will never trust them with money again, or recommend this bank to anyone!!!

    I can't put my finger on who.... There are times I have picked up a cashier's check to send off when the amount was deducted when check issued and bam it gets honored all is well. ...one of the tellers is one key off resulting in the funds not being deducted simultaneous to the issuing of the check & then I end up spending the 'available' amount which should already reflect that deduction and bam the check doesnt get honored & overdraft fees are the consequence of which teller not recognizing the key this paycheck to paycheck girl is going to school to change that problem but until I graduate & get secure job placement that's the reality of it. The teller girls are so friendly, and professional & just personable enough that I soon want to get mountain America products working for me such as a Roth IRA etc etc... Super duper like this bank!!!

    Had a great experience at the Pocatello branch. A guy used this bank to purchase my used vehicle. Very simple process. Jordan was great to work with and had us laughing straight time. Great place to bank!
