Steven Castaneda firm provides great customer services and great deals. I was in the process of moving to Texas, and we were looking for a mortgage deal to purchase a property. Steven and his team actively helped us through out the entire process. They clearly answered any questions that we had, and guided us to select the best plan that fit our budget. Active communication, customer follow-up and best service are the key points of this firm. I definitely will work with them again in the future and will refer to friends and family.

It was indeed a pleasure to work with Steven. I did not meet Steven face-to-face, however new technology allows a seamless process virtually. Steven kept in constant contact with me during my "decision-making" process and continued the constant contact when I decided to use his company for the mortgage process. I found Steven online after moving to Houston from the midwest. He was the best reviewed mortgage broker in my area. He and his staff definitely lived up to those reviews. Everything went super smooth with no surprises. He advised me to lock in at a 4.75 rate weeks ago. If I had waited I could have ended up in the low 6's. That saved me 10s of thousands over the life of my loan. Add in that he and his staff were responsive, friendly, and easy to work with, I feel like I made a great choice in a lender.

This is my second time getting a mortgage with Steven and his team. The experience is just fantastic. I contacted him to let him know that I needed a mortgage, and within 5 minutes had an email response and within five minutes of that we had talked on the phone, and within an hour or so of that I was pre-qualified. They answer all your questions. They're very responsive. Their rates are always at LEAST as good as but normally better than anyone else. I can't recommend them enough. At a minimum, reach out and see what they can do for you because it'll only take you a few minutes, and I promise you'll be impressed.

I've used Steven for 2 house purchases and 2 refinances. He's be great throughout all of them. He answered every question I had (even the small, seemingly insignificant ones) and was always straightforward and honest. Steve and his team (Helen and Philip included) worked extremely expediently and diligently throughout our mortgage refinancing process, in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic nonetheless. As first-timers to the whole refinancing process, Steve made sure we were made aware of all the relevant steps in the process including document gathering, credit checks, etc. His daily updates on the latest movements in interest rates ultimately helped us lock in a great lower mortgage rate on a shorter term mortgage. A meeting with a notary at our home was arranged in order to get all the required documents signed within the confines of our own home. The whole process was so much easier and less painful than we expected. Can't recommend Steve and his team enough! Get in on the low rates while they're still around!
