Great Service! I found this place completely by random chance of searching ads online. I purchase firearm that I was looking for. Unbelievably sharp and on point service. Within 20 minutes I received pictures of the item as well as my receipts on to my cell phone. 47 minutes later, I received photo off my purchase in the box with the label attached, tready to be shipped across the country.

Awesome place to do business with, found them randomly on armslist and called one night bc they had a Springfield hellion for a good price and they had it promptly shipped the next morning and texted me pictures. Got it right on time. Awesome rifle, thanks guys.

Wife just picked up our second firearm from this location. She is a veteran and has gotten nothing but respect and quickness in the visits. Bill helped her out and was given a great price to top it off.

I bought one of my first vintage firearms here several years ago, which I still own today. I also have had 2 more vintage firearms transferred here from out of state. Friendly staff, great prices on new and used. Used firearms are in great condition.

I first went to them in 2012 and have never had anything bad to say about how they run their business they have always been welcoming and very friendly, the times I was late picking my things up they would call to remind and were always understanding and ready to work with me to make sure I didn’t lose my things. I have done business with all the pawn store in SE Portland and these guys are my favorite and they are the best not just working for themselves but understanding when times are hard and working for us. They are THE BEST in the business.

Purchased a firearm from these gentlemen on the other side of the country! Found their info on a third party site, best deal anywhere. I was uncomfortable giving card info over the phone. One of the gentlemen recommended verifying with my bank that the transaction would be covered in the event of a scam/fraudulent use. (That’s a good sign. A scammer probably would not normally recommend that haha) Overall smooth transaction, fast invoice and great customer service.

Found the shop because the were selling a rifle I was looking for through Armslist. Called up and bought it, shipping prices were very fair and it was in the mail the same day! Wouldn't hesitate to buy from them again.

Purchased a beautiful Sig Spartan 1911 from this dealer via Armslist. Peter was great to deal with and made the transfer process to my FFL seamless. I had the gun in my hands in South Carolina from Oregon in 3 days. The gun was perfect as described.

TL;DR: New items here are overpriced and the owner sports a disturbing lack of knowledge on what influences basic firearm value. Different versions of the same model of firearm command different prices. Their vintage, barrel length, not to mention condition all drastically change what a firearm is worth, something that is standard and understood not only about firearms but any and every product on the planet, yet the owner will repeatedly sidestep these facts and then look at you vacantly when you mention them. He will look up the cheapest example of the item you are selling, and then believe unshakably it represents every and all versions, conditions, and vintages of that item. Conversely, I have seen new firearms in the shop with visible damage to their finish and a very firm price that is over market value. I don't know if it's feigned ignorance to turn a buck, or actual lack of knowledge, but it would be hilarious if not for the fact that one is spending their time and energy to go there. My advice: Don't. Anyone who moves this many firearms, both new and used, and then insists they just don't know about the basic details of said firearms is either incompetent or dishonest. The older gent that works, not the owner, is a pleasure to interact with. Just wish he was literally anywhere else.

I just emailed Money Market Pawn Shop directly from their website and they got back to me right away, so I drove straight over and purchased a brand new firearm. The price was right, the trade-in value was spot-on, and the friendly and knowledgeable staff couldn’t have made the process easier. I will definitely be doing business with these guys again. 10/10 recommend to a fren.

This is definitely the best gun shop in Portland. The selection is solid- not massive but solid. The customer service is excellent. My favorite place to do FFL transfers by far. Even during the height of the gun buying craze this summer there was never a line out the door. Always a very polite, efficient and human place to buy a firearm.

Friendly and great to work with. Walked me through the FFL process and made sure everything went smoothly. All the staff had a great attitude. Very impressed.

My experience with Money Market Pawn has been spectacular. I have used them for two FFL transfers so far. Both transfers were done quicker than I have experienced anywhere else. The Staff is knowledgeable, and on the ball. I was treated with Dignity and Respect both times and it seems to be a hallmark of the shop. I brought in a rifle to trade for one that they had in stock. We ended up not being able to make a deal, but Peter was friendly, nice and easy to deal with. Next time I am in the market for another firearm I will be stopping in. One of the best Pawn Shop experiences I have ever had.

Excellent service. Called to confirm the item on Friday late morning and they answered within reasonable amount of time. Didn't get my FFL info to them in time to ship that day but they did ship the very next day. Item arrived on Monday to my FFL dealer. Was exactly what I ordered and at a good price. Would highly recommend these folks. Very friendly and responsive.
