I have never left a bad review in my life - but what a horrible experience going to this location. For the two seconds I was in there the girl who helped me was incredibly sweet- but a man behind the counter was completely arrogant and rude - not helpful in any way. Do you think when people come to pawn their things because of life situations that they want to be treated like dirt? We already feel bad about having to be there and to be in this situation. Asking somebody who works at a store if they don’t mind for two seconds writing down the price they are referencing to me so I can think about it, and then telling me to do it myself in a cocky way when you can see I am visibly devastated and shaking from anxiety doesn’t look good regarding customer service. Your workers need to be informed that people have disabilities and they have trauma and you need to speak to others with kindness- and not like we are a piece of trash you’re never going to see again. I would rather never even have to drive by this place again because I am so disgusted by how I was spoken to. Please do better.

If you're lookin to get a loan or just outright sell , I went to both stores with the same item and All that glitters literally pays double what A-1 hawk does and I'm sire this goes for all location's, the staff are great and its a friendly enviorment,,,

They don't take silver coins. Couldnt of had more than 30.00 in silver but when I mentioned I wanted to be paid the price per gram they didn't want nothing to with me.

Took my B52 T-100 triple rectifier guitar amp in for a loan. First they ask me how they expect to test it? Then another employee laughs at it and asks who even makes it? Immediately turns me away! God awful service. Unfriendly, and wouldnt recommend anybody go there

I bought a ring off Facebook marketplace and thought I better check and make sure it's real and went into their shop and asked them if they would check it out for me and the guy named Rob was more than happy to help us and had his jeweler look at it they even cleaned it for us! Great people!

Shelby and Angie are super friendly and kind! I felt very safe coming in this store! They had masks and sanitizer on hand and monitored the number of people in the store. Angie used all the safety protocols to clean my ring for me, and for free! Best customer service! Shelby answered all my questions for me and was very nice! Although it's hard to tell if someone is smiling under their mask you can tell both these employees are because of their friendly demeanor! Thanks for such amazing service!

Me and my wife love all that glitters one of the best things we love about their store is the buy up program. If you save your receipt you can exchange whatever you bought for full price as long as you buy something that cost $50 or more coming from a family with not a lot of money this is one thing we love to do. On our anniversaries. We upgrade to a bigger better more beautiful ring every year

If I could give them a 100 stars I would, this place was amazing today and they are my saving grace, my engagement ring was bent and the stone was popping out as well, everywhere else wanted to charge me up the wall prices to fix it even though it just needed to be reshaped...in fly these hero’s. Not only did they get it reshaped stone clamped back in but they polished in all of maybe 5 minutes of time. They have my business for the rest of my life...oh did I mention THEY DIDNT CHARGE A DIME. Thank you to the staff there today! You are all such wonderful people!

I have several Pawn shops that are closer to my house but I find myself always going to All That Glitters because of their amazing customer service. My most recent visit I was helped by Josh who was very knowledgeable and able to converse with me about firearms and even help me with my pet. The best shop there is in Portland.

Sarah at the Portland location was great (as was everyone that crossed my path while I was there). Very calm and patient while I was shopping for a new wedding ring set. After getting irritated at the mall nonsense, I had stopped by the Milwaukie location right before and they were very great as well. I couldn't believe the great prices and additional perks they offered with the purchase. I will tell family and friends often. 5 STARS.

My rings were purchased from a large chain jeweler with a protection plan that allows free sizing, rhodium plating, etc; however, the turnaround time is 2 weeks. I didn’t want to be without my ring(s) for that long so I decided to pay out of pocket to have my ring resized because I would have it back the next day. My ring is an engagement band with anniversary bands soldered on each side. One of the anniversary bands is fine, the other is totally misshapen. I was told to come back so “they could make it right.” Unfortunately, this meant sending it out to another jeweler with a 7-10 day turnaround time. This breaks my heart. I just wanted to cry. This is exactly what I was trying to avoid. Sarah and Angie were really sweet, it wasn’t their fault that their jeweler lacks attention to detail and their manager thinks the definition of “making things right” is me being without my wedding set for 10 days.

Now that I'm out of a pretty bad tax position that they helped me through by loaning on my jewelry I've found that it's more fun to buy than take out loans. Their prices are very reasonable, selection is very good..and..they have a no interest layaway, plus the ability to trade up if you find something you like better. It's all good.

I researched the items I intended to sell to All That Glitters on Ebay right before I drove directly over to them. The person i spoke with told me that she does her pricing research on Ebay as well. When I showed her my first item she denied it's authenticity, yet still looked it up on Ebay and then gave me a figure that was a bid rather than a price. The woman lied straight faced right to me. I had just looked at the same site literally minutes before. She then said she had never heard of the brand of item I had showed her, ever. If she has been in the pawn business long or even a year or two there is no way possible that she would not be familiar with, or at least had heard the name before. Another obvious lie. Or a show of true incompetence from someone in that field. I see from the replies from the owner here on other negative reviews that there is no accountability for the obvious blatant dishonesty and disrespect that dwells at this establishment. I have never sold anything at a pawn shop before, however, definitely am learning the ropes and the character of the local pawn establishments. Be careful here all you good people they will lie to you just as easy as they did to me. What's cool is that just like any other dishonest business, one can simply choose not to patronize and spread the word about their experience at the establishment to help others avoid a dishonest business.

I have been part of the ATG family for over 3 decades! They have done everything in their power over the years to meet my every need. They work with me when I need a good deal, they empowered me to be able to go back to school and finish when funds were tight. Today, now that I make a great income, I make sure to return the loyalty by buying from them & still they ALWAYS give me the best deals, the biggest selection and the best customer service in all of Portland! Kudos to Steve for being able to offer his staff such a great stable & structured environment. I for one appreciate that every time I go, I know I can trust that Anthony, Angie or Jackie will always be there to greet me. The staff is knowledgeable. They have a huge selection of jewelry. I got a weird vibe from them, that why I am only giving them four stars. We got an estimate on a ring here. Apparently my ring was unsellable, but it's all good.

Shelby and Hailey are my absolute favorite. And the amazing blonde ladies. 6 out of 5 stars! Always have the best prices on gold and guns. Straight up. You wouldn’t even know this is a pawn shop- clean and in order, friendly and attentive. I’ll never go anywhere else!

All that Glitters has came a long way in a short time. I buy a lot of jewelry at Garage sales and estate sales. I used to tell people not go to All that Glitters. I don't think I have ever been so wrong about a pawn shop. They pay the best within 100 miles and more by far than any other pawn shop in the Portland Metro area. If you have something that you need a loan for take it to them for the best prices around. Once in a while the attitudes of staff can be a little abrasive but you have to think of what and who these people deal with on a daily basis. I had a very bad experience, at the Portland All that Glitters store on 122nd st. The staff especially Jackie the manager , have no conscience in their dealings and are extremely rude. I left sentimental jewlery on loan . I was a little late to pick it up and to my horror I was informed they had disposed of it even after having spoken to Steve the owner. These people are NOT to be trusted.

Every time I go they have great customer service. Jackie is always smiling and the crew is always cheerful. If you need any extra cash I would recommend them anytime!

I brought my gold chain in and made a deal to sell it, but at the last second, after a few tests they tried telling me it’s fake. Brought it to AAA and they confirmed it was in fact gold. Not great when a pawnshop can’t tell if the gold is real or not. It’s unprofessional and I won’t be going back. Id recommend not wasting time with your precious metals here.

I worked with Josh and Sarah when purchasing a beautiful bridal set from them, they were very patient and helpful on numerous visits and even more so on the day I finally made my purchase. The rings are very pretty, a much better deal than buying from a jewelry store especially since the warranty doesn't cost more at All That Glitters. My rings were ready on the morning they promised and the jeweler had shined them up as well.

Bought an engagement ring online and brought it into all that glitters on division st. We wanted to know if it was real or not. Rob welcomed us right away, took. Alook at it and took it even farther to his jewlwrin the back to have it doubled checked for authenticity. Found out that it was definitely real and I got an amazing deal on my beautiful engagement ring. So, thank you Rob and all that glitters for taking the time to help us. We appreciate you!

Cool little pawn shop. Came in to find some great deals on BluRays. Josh the MOD was a cool dude, and everyone behind the counter was having a blast and happy to be there. TikTok was playing on the TV and the mood was definitely great. *Hushed voice* they sell ammo, so stock up boys.

My fiance bought a ring here and asked me to be his wife on December the 6th 2018. The ring was beautiful!! I LOVED it, about ten days after I said YES, in a freak incident the rings setting that was soldered on completely broke off. I was absolutely heartbroken! I found the receipt and headed down to the shop! I was worried that I would face issues and was REALLY not looking forward to that. Instead I was met with "were so sorry, come over here lets fix this", I was met with INCREDIBLE customer service, happy people willing to make it right! Steve helped me pick out a new ring that was over 600$ more than the ring that I had originally had. I said " What will be the amount that we would have to pay for this one". He Replied "Not one single dime, congratulations and Merry Christmas." I was in complete SHOCK!!! They did not have to do this not at all. They could have made a quick buck instead they made a customer for LIFE!!!!! Thank you all that glitters for showing superb customer service and making me feel happy again! I recommend this shop to everyone because of the fairness in lending and the service. They always pay top prices and are very friendly. I was waited on by Angie today and she was a delight to do business with. She even cleaned and polished my ring and gave me a free potato chip clip. Jan was also very friendly and welcoming.

Below is the review I gave to all who asked me about them or who wanted an up and up loan and pawn. I give them negative stars if I could. We have been coming to them for 3 years. I have never been so upset I started bawling while accepting my low balled money. All the while this new guys knows he can't even tell me what Honshu I had or even that it was a Honsh. 600 dollar blade I got given 15 for he said well I can't look them up so you can take it or leave it. So cold for the rep we have obtained with everyone else. These guys are amazing once you bud a relationship with them they really will go out of there way to help you out. Their loans are reasonable and the staff are alot of fun.

I was pleasantly surprised by how friendly everyone was at this store. I was looking for some help with my grandpa’s watch. It has been in my family for generations. Aaron was so helpful in making suggestions with cleaning and repair. I am recently returning to the Portland area, Jackie and Angie were so nice to recommend a few places to eat and get around town. I would recommend this place.

I love coming in here! We got my engagement ring and wedding band here. I have another ring we got for my first engagement ring but it was hard to find a band to go with so that's when I got the new one. I have earnings and a diamion hear shaped pendant. I love all of them. The employees are amazing! I have been in here countless times and I have NEVER had one bad experience at all.

First and last time I will ever go there. Could not believe how unfriendly and rude the counter person was. She acted as if I was taking up her time from the moment I went to the counter. I would never go back there to buys or even sell anything. Not to mention how over priced their junk is. Can buy it cheaper unused at most stores.

Never been so devastated. Took a loan out on my wedding ring. Paid every month until I had the money to pay off the loan (this week). My husband first was told they "accidentally sent it to their Milwaukie store." Husband went clear out to Milwaukie today (3 days later) and found they had "accidentally got it confused with another ring and had sold it." They sold my ring and we were current with them! Their solution to the issue "50% in-store credit". Are you kidding me??? That was my wedding ring and we were in good standing (payment wise)... Now I've lost my ring forever. This can't be legal? Stay away from this place if you ever want to get your stuff back. All those payments to ensure my ring was safe... Just gone.

Is there any chance I might be allowed to come into the store to browse in relaxed fashion without being immediately set upon by the guy in the hat! Just once? I've wanted to casually (and with no pressure to buy there-and-then) your extensive guitars. Never had the chance. The guy will not leave me alone. I'm still looking for a guitar and yesterday my wife said "look, Ill come in with you and the guy can corner me while you take your time", but I knew that wouldn't work. In some ways it's a bit unfair to give a one-star review based on this alone, but since I've never once been able to take the place in and, y'know, stumble upon something I've been looking for but put to the back of my mind, rather than have to announce my exact product specification the second I walk in the door and then feel as if I just have to leave rather than have this guy force his presence on me at every turn, that's a fair reflection of my experience. If I'm ever allowed the privilege of relaxed looking, I'll update the review. UPDATE: Thank you for the response. A bit of an odd one though, considering I've never even come close to holding one in my hand, much less playing one. That was really my point. Seems like one extreme to the other.

The owner and the jewelry repair person both lack integrity. The jewelry repair person lacks skill and is dishonest about his limitations. He also is dishonest when he makes an error. The owner supports his terrible jewelry repair person for his own financial benefit. Bottom line, don't trust these people for a quality repair. The jeweler was a poor communicator and was not clear about the repair. He also admitted when I was talking to him, that the ring was old and that the rose gold did something he was not expecting when he was repairing the ring, but he fell short of taking responsibility for his mistake. $20 is exactly my point, I would have happily paid 10 times that for quality work.

Went here would not let me inside to buy anything without an ID will take my stuff but I can’t buy anything because I forgot my ID that is a horrible business plan. I hope u guys lose a lot of business. Horrible strategy for those who want to buy. Suck arse pawn shop.

Called about a rifle this afternoon and was informed the establishment won’t allow you or a clerk to field strip a used firearm to inspect its condition before purchasing. This is akin to a used car dealer not letting you look under the hood of a car or take a test drive. Seems shady. Hard pass there.

WOW...This is an AMAZING pawn shop! Definitely not the run of the mill one. i own a professional recording studio and was recently in a big time crunch to get a specific piece of hardware that i needed that day,the staff there went truly, above and beyond the call of duty. i was 2 dollars short of the price and one of the workers there, gave me 2 dollars to get this essential piece of gear. and oh yea, this thing is in MINT condition. I've been wanting this specific audio mixer for 8 years, but have never had enough money to get it. So thank you All That Glitters pawn, You seriously made my day, and fulfilled an 8 year long dream to own this mixer. definitely gonna be a repeat customer.
