First off let me say yesterday 3/19/2021 I purchased a vehicle from Mi Gente Auto and met Darrell Shannon who honestly is the best salesperson I've ever came across. Darrell took the time to explain everything that you would want when buying a car. I told him what I wanted, which was an SUV 2014 or newer that wasn't high mileage. He and the manager Corey whom is great as well as they researched their inventory and came back to me with a 2013 Mitsubishi Outlander 74,000 miles and a carfax report that showed a great service history. I couldn't be happier with my purchase. I researched different places for over a month but yet kept coming back to Mi Gente due to the reviews and I couldn't be happier about it. Thank you Darrell, Corey and the whole Mi Gente staff!

I also Waited over a month for my car to be fixed. I was given a loaner car that I have to jump everyday. I am coming up on the 4th payment on a car I only had 3 days. When I call they put me on hold and tell me different answers every single time. It almost feels like they just try to rush me off the phone. I have not once gotten a call back when someone says they will call me back. These people have the sense of urgency to make sure you're making payments on time but when it comes to fixing your car they don't care. I asked about just receiving my down payment back and letting them keep the car. His words were “we’re not giving you any money back” but they are willing to make me a whole new contract on another car. How is that possible? I can tell by the guys voice I talked to today he didn’t care about my situation at all. Seems like he is used to this situation happening. And from reading the bad reviews I see it happens a lot. I see some good reviews but they have most of the employees ask to leave a good review because I did it as well when I first purchased the vehicle. I wouldn’t recommend this place. I definitely plan on getting a lawyer involved

I constantly was calling the dealership and my salesman Darrell who literally forgot who I was a week later. These people just take your money and ignore the warranty you have with them. I would say please please research everything before buying a car from MiGente. They are quick to take your payment out your account but super slow to mechanic issues. I just wished before I made this expensive purchase I researched first. This why I didn’t post on day one I waited a few weeks to seriously see this company. Update: We have now had to put a new motor in the truck that they took a month to "fix". Please do not waste your money at this place, these people DO NOT CARE and they sell COMPLETE junk. That warranty is a JOKE! They knew the motor was bad and told us that we could find another vehicle, then kept it a month saying it was fixed, it all of a sudden wasn't the motor. Well yea, it was the motor the whole time. I'm so over this place! After a month of not having a vehicle, now I'm having to take time out of my day calling about my plates. After 15 cold transfers, and no customer service, I'm being told that the vehicle was never inspected and I need to drop what I'm doing to bring it there for an inspection or go pay for one myself. Who's selling cars with no inspection.... Im so over this!

Darrell is a very great salesman. He will try his very best to help you drive off the lot with a car that you desire. He’s very helpful, respectful, and a people’s person. My situation I had was very hard for me to get a car in my name that I really wanted but Darrell made it happen for me to drive off the lot with at least an option for me. Alot of cars have stains and the prices per month are $450. $Down 800 and up. Better off going to a legit dealer. This is the same price i pay for my 2017 Ford Escape from Ford dealer. The cars u get here are 2014 and down. Also we test drived a Journey and the wheel was practically coming off. Not worth the price. Good Luck everyone. 👍👍

Do not deal with this dealership they sold me a faulty vehicle that the engine went out within a month. And no one wanted to even put me in a loaner car. This place will give you the run around they do not help or tend to care about there customers it’s all about the car payments that they harass you for when the car has had problems since I got it from check engine light to loud noise from the vehicle. To the car running hot and shutting down the engine was bad when I got this car it was a lemon from the start if you want a dependable car don’t go here they have numerous cars that’s being serviced on cause none of there cars are dependable and the sales rep and mangers are so disrespectful after you sign the paperwork Chima is very disrespectful everything was good until I started to have problems with my car which I shouldn’t be didn’t even drive this car for a month I don’t care how desperate you are run from the hole in the ground dealership they are so unprofessional. I’m taking them to court I kept my own records from the beginning to the end problems I had with this car within 30 days.

As we all know, the car buying business can be very stressful and long but my experience today at Mi Gente was a very good one. I wasn't expecting to get approved but in less than an hour, I was told I had a new truck. They cater to the customer's needs (payment, vehicle type) which is very different and it came with a warranty. Normally when you go to a dealership and have challenged credit, they tell you what you can get. I would definitely recommend going to Mi Gente if you're looking for a vehicle. Ask for Christian H. and mention Juanita Jordan sent you. Wendell - the Finance Manager took his time and explained every page of the paperwork with patience.

The car was doing good for the first couple of weeks. Once it reached a month that's when everything started happening to the car. The window broke and wouldn't roll back up. Then the engine started over heating bc they didn't even put coolant in it when it was given. Then the change oil sign came on which means they didn't even change the oil before it was given to me. It was just one thing after other the water pump messed up and so on. Once I called about the problems the manager was very rude. I also brought up that the vin number on the car can't be found anywhere and usually you can look it up online and find it but nope not with this car.

I dont know about anyone else however I took my sister here to get a car and the very best experience I have ever had in life at a car dealership. I personally have had about every car you can think of using financing/banks better know as borrowing funds from a lender based on your financial stability and ties to the community. From start to finish David made it happen, he was upfront, real and most importantly didnt come with the sales pitch that I dont have patience for. I thank the lord first then thank you David for making it happen.... Keep up the good work!

Have had 2 vehicles from here 1st was a truck which had faulty emergency brakes and a ton of hidden problems that didn't show for a few months. 2nd was a car with good gas mileage 1 week in it starts knocking and check engine light comes on they have me bring it back to "fix" it so I return it 6 days later they say it's fixed and ready to be picked up. So I pick it up and drive home and before I made it home the check engine light was back on and the knocking noise returned. My guess they reset the ecm and called it fixed I'm not paying for their junk definitely do not recommend this lot for anyone even if you can't get approved anywhere else.. nothing is better then being swindled by these people.

I bought a 2013 Ford Fusion after 2 hours of driving it around it broke down so they towed it back and claimed they had fixed it so when I went to pick it up the problems where still there I didn’t even have the car for 7 days when I told them I wanted to return the car and get a refund and the response I got was “you signed the contract it going to have problems it’s a used car but we don’t return money back” so after having the car less than 30 days I had to surrender the car cause it’s not even worth all the repairs

But they work with you and also double check the vehicle you want it might have problems already when you buy it.
