This has been the worst experience ever. The reps don’t follow up and give you misinformation just to get you off the phone it seems. I was told I would have the funds within 24-48 hours and still haven’t received it. Everything was completed 2 days ago. Called back and spoke to Andrew who claims rep who processed my loan entered wrong bank info so he would send it up for correction and the funds will be in my bank before the end of the day. Something told me to call back because it didn’t sound right. I called and spoke to another gentleman who hung up on me. Called again and Andrew picked up but now says the funds will not be available until 3 business days. When I asked why he didn’t call to let me know he said they were busy. I will never borrow money from this place again no matter what. I would rate them a zero if I could.

I usually try not to tell other not to do business with certain companies. Unfortunately, that isn't the case with this one. It seems like the closer I've gotten to my payoff date, the more they try to avoid me. In the prior month during office hours, I've called 11 times one day and 6 the next day and no one picked up. Fast forward to this month and I called 7 times in a row and no one picked up. So I decided to go in and pay. There were 5 people there with four out front and one in the "back" with no customers in front of them. I was there maybe 10 minutes and the phone didn't stop ringing and the whole time I was there. There was no sense of urgency to do anything and I seen one of the workers walk to another workers desk and point at the ringing phone and he shook his head no... On top of that, either they aren't applying my payments on time or they are overcharging me because I have been paying too long for a small amount. Avoid this company at all cost. Sell a kidney if you have to

This is absolutely the WORST place. We have had a loan with Mariner for quite some time, and we have spent the last week trying to get some things finalized. Once they realize who you are, they stop answering. We get told all day long, we will reach back out at such and such time. Our paperwork is always on the manager's desk. When I ask to speak to the manager when I am lucky enough to get someone on the phone he is always busy. And when I called Mariner corporate to file a complaint, they said they would send an email to the branch manager. The absolute worst customer service ever!!! So our loan isn't finalized yet, but our next payment is tomorrow.

I’ve had an account with Mariners for a while. I was called in December about possibly increasing my loan. Well, my son’s car needs some repairs and I could pay off some credit cards, so why not? Uploaded all my documents the same day they requested. After calling for a week and a half, I finally got someone to answer the phone. Christmas week, finally get a callback trying to rush me in, but I can’t with my work schedule. Finally get a day off in January to come in-does anyone take time to tell me to update my info that I submitted? Nope. Danny literally called my place of employment the day prior and didn’t think to keep me posted on what I needed. Very disappointed this time around with the poor customer service and lack of follow up.

I’d highly recommend Mariner Finance to anyone that’s looking for a loan with not so good credit. The process is simple, easy and fast. Katie was very attentive and responsive throughout the entire process. She made me feel very comfortable and informed me of everything that was needed in order to complete my loan. She even called me to correct me on some of the items I submitted as soon as I submitted them. You usually don’t get that with other lenders. Now of course the financing part may welcome some and not others but if you make your payments on time and early then that shouldn’t be a problem. Great service.

I recently applied for additional funds from Mariner Finance. I received my initial loan Fall 2020. Both transactions were seamless. Andrew Miller assisted me with finalizing the most recent loan. He was personable and professional. I truly appreciate how Andrew demonstrated patience, kindness and even laughter during the process. It made for a positive and enjoyable experience. Judging by the previous reviews, I am not the only one this office treats like trash. I am a current customer. I was misinformed about quite a few details regarding my loan. I will be paying off this loan, and caution anyone doing business with them. My loan was not initiated properly and they asked me to come back in, but I couldn't make it so they did whatever they did on their own. Not sure if it was legal, but it will come out when the loan is paid off I'm sure. Take your business to a more ethical company that actually cares about and values your business and will communicate appropriately with you. Without our business, they have no business.

Absolutely terrible process working with this company. They DON'T answer the phone. They DON'T call back when you leave a message. They PURPOSEFULLY changed the terms of the loan I applied for and when I stated to them that was not what I applied for they would not work with me. COMPLETE WASTE OF TIME. MY LOAN WAS APPROVED 2 WEEKS AGO under the terms they chose and NO ONE even bothered to tell me. I had to call the office for weeks now to get a human to tell me it was approved for terms that I did not agree on. This is a crooked branch. We need an option for less than 1 star. Please STOP REPLYING TO CUSTOMERS WITH THE SAME GENERIC REPLY TEXT. It shows you are not compassionate towards customers. Corporate needs to fire this manager; he is not professional nor managing this office well.

Spoke with someone regarding my application two weeks ago and never received a followup call. Have tried calling location multiple times and no one answers phone. Tried to schedule callbacks and never receive callback during scheduled time.
