    I called first and applied over the phone. everything went through quickly. I went into office finished up paperwork and got my check. Kristen didn't try to sell me anything. She was very informative and pleasant. My credit is awful and I was still approved. No penalty for early pay off. It's a win win

    As I walked in I was greeted and my papers were copied quickly, then I was escorted to a back office where I sat for 37 minutes. No one stopped in or spoke to me during this time. I listened to agents training newbies, and one agent discussing her own car issues over the phone as she paced back and forth. Still others were having phone conversations with other customers. This is my second experience at this office. I really feel that if there will be an extended wait in an office, customer service should dictate that someone stops in to update the customer on why there is such a long wait. It just feels like you are not a valued customer when this happens.

    I've been doing business with Mariner for 10 years now, they always work with you on payments, collateral, due dates, and are up front with the details! They want you to ask questions so you are well informed. Their personal loans are like cash advances, 24.9%, but if you make your full payments all the interest is charged upfront. You can pay off early without penalty. The third party online payment service charges $2.50 if you don't autopay. Professional friendly associates.
