I had the pleasure of working with Ruby Sierra, the branch manager. She was absolutely the most friendliest, and compassionate person ever!! I needed a quick loan to purchase some much needed equipment for my up and coming business. My own bank of 7 years turned me down. The interest is a little high, but that can be tamed with an early pay-out. I’m thankful they were able to assist me where corporate wouldn’t! Thank you so much!!

New manager is horrible they run your credit for a deferment will not work with you at all if you’re having hardship threatened to call your job i will be paying them off soon i wont go back

Honestly, if I could give the underwriters a one star I would. The staff at this branch was not the main issue. I applied for a loan last week and I was denied yesterday. I submitted so many documents and took time out of schedule to provide additional documents. I have had a credit card for 6 year now and the reason for my denial was no established credit. I also refinanced a loan in July and that was held against me. This branch is also understaffed at the moment. It was so difficult to get in contact with a member. At times, I felt like the two staff members were not on one accord. Very disappointed.

Angel Fox was wonderful she took as much time I needed to answer all my questions. She's so sweet and a people person walking in I wasn't too sure but when she start interacting with me if I could set all day and talk with her I would. She's a very awesome understanding lady and help me with my loan and was very happy on the amount and it was very easy cashing it . If you go in ask for Angel Fox she's Wonderful she deserves to be a manager cause she understands life happens and people fall on hard time and she was right there to help. Thank you Angel Fox you rock!!!!!!!!!

Credit isn't stellar (mid 600s) but Mariner came through for me. Vicky at the Cumming office is a pleasure to work with. They were able to approve me for a $1500 loan over 18 months that really pulled me out of a jam. Be advised that the interest on these loans is high since theyre a sub prime lender, but that is the cost of having bad/weak credit. I choose to make my payments over the phone every month as there is a record of the transaction via recording. Gave 5 stars eventhough the application process was a bit intense (they ask a TON of questions up front, but for good reason). They also build in some weird insurance into the loan up front which was kind of awkward to have to ask for it to be taken out. These are just policies that help pay for the loan in case of injury or death. Overall, the experience was relatively hassle free and I am greatful to Mariner for taking the risk on me when nobody else would.
