LightStream Finance Center Pl Way, St. Augustine

This company is a joke. They sent me a text stating that I've been approved for 5k. I didn't respond and two days later they called me and asked was I still interested in the loan. I said yes but I only wanted 3k. Spoke with a lady name Janet she advised that for a 2 year loan monthly pymt will be 153 a month. She went on to advised that I would need to to set up a loan account since they have no relation with MetaBank and that I would need to get a Google play card and put 80$ on the card and call back with the number on the back. I called Janet back with the info and she transferred me to Justin Parker. Speaking with Justin he went on to say that they needed another 250 to secure the loan. I advised that I didn't have it. He put me hold said that he spoke with his supervisor and that I can pay 175. I advised that I only had my rent money. He then said that I would get my money back added to my loan. I did that called back with the info. He calls me back to tell me my credit score is not high enough and I could still get the loan if I send them another 250 dollars. Yes I was scammed and they will be reported. Justin says he will send me 245 minus 10 dollars through money gram. My question is why don't they check this info before saying you have the loan. PLEASE BEWARE DON'T GET SUCK IN LIKE I DID. LESSON LEARNED. This info was in reference to my girl friend Maxie Merchant

Company is a joke. They need to have a contact number and get out of the automated loan business and into the customer service business. Will make sure to spread the word to let my customers know NOT to have them apply with this company. If you want to call me, I would love to find out your lending guidelines.

Even when you select that you do not want your information shared with other lenders they will do it anyways. Resulting in unauthorized credit pulls and being bombarded with junk mail.

This company has terrible service!!! It is impossible to reach them!!! I called the number they provided me and it is no longer in service. I can't even sign into my account using the information I provided when I set up the online account. This is a terrible company and you need to go somewhere else!!!

High interest rate.there is no way to contact them.you will receive computer generated message in response to your email.frustrating

Just a terrible experience. I hate I wasted a credit pull on this company. You can't even call them. What kind of bank is that?? The low rates for a pool loan attracted me. But seriously, don't waste your time.

I have 802 score and make 150k annually with just $2k in monthly debts. I was given a higher rate than what showed up on the site and credit department was unable to give me the reason behind it. Everything is fine until you have to call the customer service/credit department. They are of no help and don’t care about your business. They even offered to withdraw my application when I was just asking questions. Lightstream’s rate is double of what is offered by their competitors. Their offer to beat the rate is a joke as they require a truth in lending statement, which is issued at the time of completion of the process, to beat competitor’s rate. I am extremely disappointed with this lender and will never give them business again

Made a mistake and applied before checking there profile, bad company to do business with, you will regret it. Take my advice Or just go ahead and find your self

These folks are unbelievable, easy to work with, great interest rates, uncomplicated contracts and fast approval. If they had a 10 star rating Light Stream would get it from me.

Waste of time, look elsewhere. This review is about the company in whole not just this office, scam
