Landmark made our transaction go very smoothly from start to closing. Always easy to get an answer to a question and they were on top of things with regard to our lenders requests. Carolyn and John were very helpful- Highly recommend!!

Staff at Landmark was hardworking and professional throughtout the closing process. They showed flexibility and a positive attitude when the terms of the contract changed; the Buyer changed lenders and the closing date was moved forward by a week by both principals in the transaction.

Closing with John was a blast. He was very knowledgeable for us as first time home buyers and answered some questions that weren’t even related to closing. I’d recommend landmark! Thanks, John!

Working with Landmark has not been a smooth process. There were multiple mistakes along the way and the transfer was delayed several days after close. I would not recommend.

Brad did a great job explaining all the paperwork for us first time home buyers! Very informative and fun to work with.

Two experiences, both of them negative. Rude and non professional treatment. They ignore your requests to avoid confrontations. I’m still waiting for a response from the Vice President. The first mistakes cost the job position to the girl who was taking care of my case. They tried to clean up the mess waiving their fee for the next closing, but really… not worthy the pain of treating with them again… Stay away!

John was awesome! He took time answering my buyer’s questions.

I always enjoy having closings at Landmark Title. They are professional and know their roles very well. When I need attorney advice, I can always rely on David Heekin or Howard Smith. Howard is great!

I used this company for a garage title because of seller recommendation.It was a terrible experience since the begining... poor comunication, not professional, everybody in that office is rude, they lost our contract... I ended up talking with operation manager and everything was supposed to be fixed, but even hours before closing, they were missing info and wanted to change a date that was scheduled 3 weeks before. I’d never use this company again.

We started the process with Kim Foster giving directions on what would be needed to complete the deal. Carolyn Zillman was spot on with each step as we approached the closing date. John was very pleasant and informative as we completed the signatures and finalized the relationship with our lender. All documentation was complete and presented in an orderly fashion. Any questions were quickly and satisfactorily answered. I’m very satisfied with the quality of service provided by this Title Company!

I would like to commend Nikky Causey, Vice President at Landmark Title for one of the best closings I have ever attended in my 15 year history. She was professional, knowledgeable, thorough and imparted upon the Buyers and myself additional value in her full explanation of the nuances of the closing including homestead exemption, mortgage payments and more. Many of the suggestions to the Buyers were ones I had mentioned but it was great to have this reinforced with her personal experience. I highly recommend Nikki and Landmark Title at this location as experienced, professional and helpful. One of the best out there and think Nikki's closing should be recorded for all closers to view. Great to see a local company do so much for the community!

We recently sold our condo unit in Jacksonville; we are residents of South Carolina. We accepted an offer late evening on June 14 with a closing scheduled 14 calendar days later on June 28. We had 3 sellers (owners) on the deed, one of whom would be unavailable after the 25th. Jennifer and Kaeyla stepped up and accepted the challenge. They were thorough and patient. Bottom line: the closing was accomplished was accomplished on June 28th as planned! My wife and I have been buying and selling our homes and rental property for over 55 years. Landmark Title and these ladies stand head and shoulders above any other title company with whom we have interacted!

Easy closing, well run company and very enjoyable experience

I would not even give this company 1 star. They are scam. They work with 1 stop exit realty to try to keep my security even when my loan was denied within the 10 days after I got in contract with the seller. I suppose to get the deposit back in full. They tried all excuses to keep my deposit. After many phone calls, they agreed to give me half of my deposit back, and after more phone calls they gave me $2000 back out of my $3500 deposit. I accept this $2000 because I had enough of these people. I write this review because I don’t want others to make this same mistake as me.

This was first time using Landmark Title. I dealt with the the Team of Erin Perschel and Howard Smith. Both were very professional, friendly and very easy to deal with. All my questions were answered very quickly. We were able to close one week earlier then projected and my buyer was able to presign which meant has was able to move to his new house 2 weeks early. Both buyers and seller's were very happy at closing. I will be using them for all my future closing. Thanks again.
