I have been to many pawn shops before and this by far is the best store yet! As soon as I walked in I was immediately greeted. When I had some questions Alysia was very patient and provided me with the best details on the item I was looking to buy. I definitely recommend coming here!

I am 21 and have been doing business @ this pawn shop since almost 16! Over the year the shops customer service had declined horribly. Especially this year with the three ladies who run the front. I am never greeted and almost always have to say hi! On top of the poor greeting service, items I bring are always of value but never am I attended properly. turn tables, gain mixers, computers, shoes etc. everything I've brought in is almost rarely searched up for pricing. Always off the top of the head, as if they are super human and know everything. I brought in music equipment today and first the issue was testing it. they said do mics work, I didn't bring one but pointed out I could show it worked if they let me use one, another lady intervened to say yeah but the the speakers and said that's easy you have or ill bring. They stayed quiet looked at each other then the manager proceeded to say well its missing a button. I told them it wasn't missing, its a connection for hardware that doesn't come with this set up. She simply looked @ me and said I don't want to take it. Like!?!? I met al your conditions, only person who has ever gave me good assistance was the braided man who had no problem in helping me sell something then BUY right after. I just find it appalling to be treated so poorly every time I come! Appraise with correct protocol and keep your snide, demeaning looks to yourself! I'm more than sure one of their names was Johana. To add all the employees were on their phone ad just "kicking it back"I honestly wont go there as long as any of those females work there. Nobody cares if I come back or not, but at least save your time and go to another pawnshop if reading this!

I went in looking for a gift for my husband. I was immediately greeted by three or four very enthusiastic young ladies who were very happy to help me. I wasn't sure what I wanted to get so Zoriama (not sure if I spelt that right) showed me quite a few different ideas to choose from. I finally, after a very very long time~ because I'm highly indecisive decided on a the perfect gift for my hubby and I'm sure he is going to love it!! Thank you so much to the ladies that helped me and to the Manager (Alysia) who also helped make my whole day!! You guys really made my gift shopping fun and stress free. Thanks so much! Sooooo much better than traveling around to several different stores and potentially finding nothing. Keep up the Amazing work!! You guys have won a customer for life!!

I went to the store they have In Kissimmee first about 2 weeks ago. The people were rude, not helpful at all, and just plain nasty. I was having a family emergency and the lady there didn’t even look up the stuff I brought in, she just gave me price’s off the top of her head and being in the position I was in I had no choice but to take it. I sweetie I would NEVER go in those stores again. Well today my friend talked me into going into the store in BVL. The last that helped me was so nice! She got me as close to what I needed as she could. She was friendly and even apologized to me for the other store. This store is totally different from the one In Kissimmee. I Will definitely go back to this store again if and when I need to. I will even suggest it to my friends if they need a pawn shop in the future. Stay away from the Kissimmee store though they suck!

I believe that the pawn shop switched one of each of my diamonds to glass pieces. They didn’t remove all, just one on each side so I don’t notice. I bought my diamond earrings in NYC at a reputable place and over 10 years I never left them anywhere. I took my earrings for repair of the clasps. I had to leave them because I was asked to pick up after 5. I usually sit and wait but it was 7 hours! The clasps were repaired with a non gold metal. I regret going there.

Additionally, when we fell on difficult times when I was on several medical leaves of absence they always gave us the best loans and took care of my family! Over the years everyone @ the BVL La Familia Joshua, Pedro & especially Jessy treated us like their own. We drive out of our way to do business with them and will be loyal for years to come!

The lady is super nice. I'm nervous I was grossly underpaid for my gold. He never asked me if the amount was okay, or gave me gold weight. He offered me $1000 less for my wedding ring than a Tampa pawn shop. Also, I've never seen a shop that sells things with missing stones....weird. I'd go back just to look.

My go to pawn shop is at La Familia! They have always helped me and my family whether it’s needing a loan or finding something in specific at the store to purchase. The past couple of times I’ve been in I’ve been helped by Jessy and she has great customer service and a great attitude towards customers. She knows her stuff makes sure you are pleased. She was also very helpful in a recent call I made to the store in which she introduced me to the app and I can now handle certain transactions through the app; I am very pleased and would recommend if you’re going to La Familia in BVL to ask for Jessy she’s awesome!! We have been using this company for more than 5 years. They have been really good on deals. We took out a loan and didn't realize there was a promotion until I went in to pay. This business is really great and they have great employees that work with you. This is why my husband and i always go back to them.

Went to Osceola Pkwy location. Jessy and Nelson were very efficient, fast, helpful. My husband needed a phone and they solved the issue real fast. They also gave us free sanitizers. And that's actual a big thing around this time.

La Familia Pawn has been in Buenaventura for seven years. The pawn shop is very known in Buenaventura for it's services, loan pawn and sell. The staff is tremendous they are always around to answer questions and help around the store. The store is always clean and the music adds to the experience, it's a very pleasant place to go to.

Very rude I didn’t have the plug and offers to buy one from there and the lady was very rude and I tried to Redon with them and they were very rude and didn’t take any of my things and I was fine with that but there tone was just absurd

Do not go here if you are black. You are not welcomed here. I stood in line , by myself, and ignored with only one customer there and watched three associates at the register say nothing. Then when they finally called me to the register, they spoke disrespectfully about me in Spanish. I keep my Google translator on and ready at all times. It is called “La Familia” because they look out for their own.

A 5-star rating does a disservice to describe the high level of Superior Customer Service offered by the Ventura Downs location team. Juan the store manager and his staff epitomize the company’s name “LA FAMILIA”. They listen to the customer and they make you feel like a family. They don’t judge or criticize; they HELP! I have been a customer for over 5 years since I moved to Florida. If you are experiencing a financial hardship and have an item of value that can be used as a collateral for a short-term loan OR if you are just looking for an affordable item, I truly recommend contacting Juan or any of the other staff.
