Over the past few months, I have been working with the Kearny Mesa Acura Service Team, and my auto insurance company, to complete some rather extensive repairs. Despite many delays by the Insurance company, the Dealership was more than accommodating to complete the repairs, work directly with My insurance to resolve change orders, and to be flexible to work within the insurance repair requirements. I’ve had many encounters with various repair facilities, auto dealers, and customer service representatives. I am not sure I ever worked with anyone that was as customer focused and genuinely engaged as Juan. Juan went above and beyond through every step in the process to provide me with updates on progress and to escalate quickly when things with the insurance company started going sideways. Juan was always friendly, promptly returned every call or responded to email, and he always made me feel like a valued customer.

I was on the hunt for a car that could accommodate me and my growing family. I stumbled upon a vehicle that was a little out of my price range but really hit all the marks I was looking for. I ended up driving to Kearny Mesa Acura to see if the car was still available and from the moment I walked into the show room and eventually off the lot with my brand new car, I was nothing short of impressed by the help I received. Specifically from Joanna (sales). She not only helped me negotiate my trade in but went above and beyond and entertained my baby daughter while I signed paper work and then helped me transfer all my belongings from my trade in to my new car. She even has made herself available should I have questions that arise as I get to know my new car. I sincerely couldn’t have been happier with getting assistance from Joanna. Juan was great as usual. Went in for scheduled maintenance, loaner car was waiting on me. I can drop my car off and continue with my day. Every time I go there he explains everything that is going to be done to my vehicle and a price estimate. All I have to do is wait for Juan to call me and either update me or the car is ready. I’ve been coming to him for 20 plus years and 2 dealerships. Employee of the month every month if you ask me.

We had our mind set on a new Acura MDX understand ing that this market was going to make it a difficult purchase. We had spoken to a few Acura dealerships and we were not very hopeful. They do great work and don't they to pressure you you into doing unnecessary repairs. The only negative thing I can say is the marketing department or whatever department that runs the "Leave us feedback" campaign is quite annoying in the multiple feedback requests.

Ruben was awesome. No pressure, super informative, and very patient. Prior to coming to Kearny Mesa, I was at another Acura Dealership and it was such a bad experience. I truly appreciate the fact that Ruben was very welcome towards me. During the test drive, I shared that I had purchased my first Acura back in 2008 at this same dealership… and he said Welcome Home. We just finished up buying a new MDX. I HATE car shopping, so for me to feel compelled to write a review, especially a five star review tells you I had an excellent experience! We used our Costco service to get the ball rolling and David responded to us with an accurate and fair price. When we arrived, Kevin was quick to assist us and helped from start to finish. He provided an outstanding car buying experience. We had to wait a bit longer for finance and they even got lunch for us! Finance was organized and moved quickly. I really appreciate the excellent service provided by Mike, Juan and Alex after showing up unexpectedly to drop my car off. Mike coordinated the drop off and arranged a loaner, which was incredible considering I showed up without notice. Juan handled the service and repairs and saved me a chunk of change by getting warranty coverage on one of the parts. Alex delivered my vehicle to my house and picked up the loaner. Acura Kearney Mesa has always take good care of me, I really appreciate all that they do to make the experience great.

Mike F is one of the best service advisors I have dealt with in my life. He is fast to respond and always makes recommendations based on what you need and what can wait. He is always been fair and has always provided a nice loaner when requested. He is one of the reasons I have held onto my car for so long as I have received great service and my car runs wonderfully. "Acura Care" warranties need to be renamed "Acura Does Not Care" warranties. I cannot blame this all on Kearny Mesa Acura, but they play a part. My experience is that the entire Acura organization is less than customer-service oriented? Whatever it is, it is not acceptable. I have a 2016 RDX under an extended Acura Care warranty. My air conditioning worked intermittently in June. I took it in for service and they made me pay for the diagnostic. WHY? Then they diagnosed (or misdiagnosed) that it was the suction hose which had a pinhole. They ordered the part and topped off the freon (or whatever it is). At least someone thought they were helping. Still was working inconsistently. No calls back, ever, on when my vehicle would be fixed. I called several times and finally got the service writer who told me the part would not be in until the end of August. So, Acura or Kearny Mesa or both tell me, "we won't fix your air conditioning, even thought it does not work, you live in Southern California, you need to go to Arizona, and on a two-week road trip - in the summer." No options for fixing using non-Acura parts or loaning me a vehicle or anything given to me. My previous experience with Lexus in similar situations was VERY different. When no one calls me back (ACURA and Kearny Mesa Acura) I think it means they Do Not Care.

I would like to publicly thank the amazing Joanna at the Kearny Mesa Acura Dealership. When I came to the dealership she was the first person I saw. She looked very busy, but she put aside everything to assist me. I knew exactly what car I wanted to see and she took me to the car. Once in the car, she was very knowledgeable about the car and its features. She made sure I was comfortable and felt secure before we went inside to discuss what would happen next. Also, I gave her my availability for that day and she respected it. I am very busy and do not have the time to test drive or be convinced to look at other cars. I knew what I wanted. I’ve known Kearny Mesa Acura for a long time and the folks there are exceedingly friendly and helpful. Their wish is to make your day with their service for your car. I’ve never experienced any business anywhere that was so efficient and proud of their customer service. Check in and check out are great, service managers cordial and efficient, repair technicians knowledgeable. There’s always a complete estimate up front, follow up calls if necessary, and a complete report on the service provided. Loaner cars are available at no cost. Lounge is pleasant, clean, stocked with refreshments. There’s a drop off key box and you can arrange for secured parking if you need to drop car off overnight. Kearny Mesa Acura is consistently 5 stars on everything. PS - recently they’ve had a repair tech shortage with delays for customers but honesty I don’t think there’s anything anyone can do about the labor shortages these days. My advice is to schedule your regular service appointments in advance.

Good customer service and diagnostic tech crew. They were able to pre diagnose some issues and brought it up to my attention. Free shuttle/Lyft rides are a plus! Really good cappuccino coffee machine in the waiting lounge. Been going here for years now, so far so good!

I’ve been going to Kearny Mesa Acura for years. They've done a good job servicing my car. I went for a regular oil change and B1 service yesterday. Unusually, it took several hours to complete the job. I was told that it’ll take up to 2hrs then decided to wait. The whole thing actually took almost 4hrs. Waiting that long is not acceptable!!! As a regular customer, I should not be treated that way. Not satisfied with this experience!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Outstanding customer service throughout the whole experience from check-in to check-out, all staff were courteous and helpful. Service reservation was very easy, I went online and was able to get a time and date right away. Juan Carmona, my Service Manager, explained all the work in detail with suggestions and recommendations, no pressure at all. He was able to give me a loaner car too which is rare in this environment. He kept me informed throughout the entire process.

Ruben and the rest of the team at Kearny Mesa Acura were so kind and professional and made my car-buying experience very pleasant! I knew the exact make, model and trim I wanted and Ruben didn't try to talk me into something else they had on the lot (unlike other dealers I spoke to). I just finished my second TLX Lease with Kearny Mesa Acura and decided this time to purchase a TLX thanks to David Yergeau’s help locating the perfect car. I had an emergency and had to get my car serviced on Christmas Eve. They were near closing but took the time to understand my issues and we very patient with me. They took my car and gave me a loaner. Cannot recommend the service department more!

I bought my Acura RDX at another dealer because they had the color and model I wanted, but it was far away and I thought I would try San Diego Accura for my service needs. I was absolutely delighted with their service. It was easy to make an appointment and when I called back to change the time they were able to accommodate me. WWhile their policy is to promise completion of the service work in two hours or less if you stay at the facility, and only promise that the car will be done by the end of the day if you leave, I explained I had errands to do and the service was finished in an hour. My husband had taken me home in the morning but was not available to take me back when the work was done. San Diego Accura sent an Uber driver who arrived within 10 minutes. I also discovered an email where I could pay online as I was being transported up to the dealer. The car was clean and ready for me when I arrived. Again I couldn’t have been more delighted.
