    I purchased a certified used BMW. My salesman was Andre Ozdemir. Andre was easy to deal with and made the sale process fast and easy. I enjoyed working with him. The finance side was also quick and high tech, with most of the sales documents shown on a large touch screen. I was offered lots of products by the finance manager, but no pressure at all to buy them. While I was in finance, Andre had the car cleaned inside and out, and it felt like a new car driving off the lot.

    Martin was great! He was straight forward and was able to get the process going as soon as possible for my husband and I. Very transparent and provided us information to understand the process through out our purchase. David did our financing and made the transaction smooth and delightful. This was such a positive experience for us. Compared to our experience with Benz, we prefer Great customer service here at BMW, we would recommend our friends and family to do business here.

    BMW of San Diego is the only place I take my 2012 X3 for repairs. The staff and team are honest, kind, and helpful. In all of my experience with dealerships and mechanics, I have had the best experiences with BMW. I am grateful for the treatment and service I receive.     My sales experience was adequate to a little above. The facilities and amenities are nice. I bought my husband a new 2022 X3 M off the lot, and myself a new 2022 X7 that I custom ordered. I absolutely love both cars. My X7 has had a couple glitches (nothing major), but easily remedied. My issue is with the service department. It can be difficult to get a hold of someone there to ask a simple question of, and getting a call back is pretty hit-or-miss. The first time I brought my X7 in for something, they washed and vacuumed it after, which is pretty standard. This last time I brought it in, the guy on the phone told me they would need it for about 4 hours. When I got there they told me about 30 hours and then it wound up being two full days. I don't necessarily mind that, because I want the work done thoroughly and correctly. However, it is the details that matter when you are talking about a car I purchased for $110,000. In many parts of the country that can buy a house. When I went to pick the car up after this latest issue was fixed, I found that they had decided not to wash the car, even though it was expressly stated on the paperwork that it would be. The excuse given was that the BMW cargo rack the dealership had installed on the roof, prevented them from being able to run it through the machine wash. I know this is a VERY first-world problem, but, again, it is the DETAILS. When you TELL me you will wash it, then you MUST do it. And, when I spoke to the service manager, he pretty much just shrugged it off. I actually can't think of anything he said besides "sorry". I run my own business, and if I operated this way, I would be ashamed, and worried that I would lose customers. Now, they could have washed it and told me that in the future they wouldn't be able to. But, just like I tell my child, if you say you will do something, you must do it. Otherwise, you lied. And, as we tell all of our children, "Lying is bad". I will be going to BMW of El Cajon from now on. I have called them and they have assured me that they will perform a wash after every service, however, their company has not started vacuuming yet, because of some hold-over rules from the height of the Pandemic. This, I can understand, because they are telling me up front.

    Chris, Caroline, Ali and Hon were great in taking care of my service appointment. Caroline helped me get loaner car in the last moment. Chris kept me updated throughout and added my extra service requests over the phone as well. Ali was very kind and a honest gentleman!     Recently purchased a new vehicle and Chadi was awesome to work with. He was efficient, responsive and very helpful. I do not live close by, so he was able to work most of the details out with me via e-mail so that my time in-store was smooth and quick. I was in and out with my new car in under an hour with everything exactly as expected. I’ve been through this process several times before and have never experienced this level of honesty and efficiency. Highly recommend.

    My sales associate was Martin, and he was an absolute pleasure to work with. Very straight forward and professional, but most importantly listens to your wants/needs as opposed to trying to sell you everything else.. best experience I’ve had at any dealership yet.     Nothing other than friendly and helpful service from BMW of San Diego. From routine service to windshield and tire replacement this team does it right. Andrew Kim was extremely helpful and Andrey even sent me a video of the underside of my X3 including the brake pads. Not something I have experienced in the last 10 years of BMW ownership. I had to replace all four tires and the price was on point - no price gouging or inflated prices. Thank you SD BMW!

    Excellent dealership - people who believe in building long term loyalty. Worked with Eddie and the mgr, Ash. Ordered a new BMW last year at a time when supply was constrained and other dealers were looking to charge above MSRP. This dealership did not. Smooth ordering and delivery process. A small issue during delivery was swiftly resolved by Ash - yet another indication of the culture of the dealership and its people.

    I always have the most warm inviting welcome. Everyone is professional and greet you with a smile. My service representative Michael Parker exceeds AWESOME customer service. He is very thorough and detailed when explaining all work being performed on your car. If your car is getting work that requires a day or more, he does a courtesy call with all update. I think that’s very important.

    Went in for a simple oil change knowing I had a few other items that required service. They provided me excellent customer service all around. Were not pushy trying to persuade me to get any services or repairs I did not want. But provided me a list of things I need to get repaired, part numbers of parts needed and prices to get everything done. Then after I left received a detailed video of underneath my entire vehicle showing me everything they looked at and it’s condition while providing detailed diagnosis. That video alone was above and beyond and something I’ve never received in the past from any mechanic yet alone seen or heard of. Definitely will continue to bring my BMWs to this dealership!

    Fantastic service…what else would you expect from BMW. Eddy was great and was a wealth of information on the vehicles we looked at. At no point in time did he pressure us to buy anything and solely just gave us the information about the cars we needed to make an educated decision. When it came for purchase San Diego BMW doesn’t markup anything over MSRP and actively searched for incentives and rebates to get us below MSRP (which they did). The whole process was simple, quick, and efficient. No one there, even in the finance office, tried to sell us stuff we didn’t need but did a great job explaining all the different options that were there and what they entailed. Fantastic experience from start to finish.

    So, I am updating my review. I left a review a week or so ago, and was pleasantly surprised to find that the dealership follows these things. The next morning I awoke to find that they had responded to my review, asking me to email them contact info, so that they could reach out (imagine my surprise to find that the person claiming to be the service manager was not the same person they had me speak to when I asked in person to speak to the service manager). So, I dutifully emailed them my name and contact info straight away. I mean, we should always give people a chance, right? Imagine the vindication I felt when I received no call, no response to my email. Nothing. This just proves why I believe it will be worth replacing my current beemers with BMW’s from a different BMW dealership. As well as having my service done elsewhere.

    Took my vehicle here for service. Pros: -They text you a video of the car while it is lifted to actually show you they condition of your car and the maintenance it needs. I really liked this. It showed how worn the treads were worn on the inside of the tires which I otherwise would not have noticed. -They also will order you a Lyft to take you to and from the dealership while your car is being worked on. Cons: I asked them if they would price match Costco for the tires. They said they would not because Costco sells worse quality tires and proceeded to talk really negatively about anyone who would get tires from Costco instead of them. Costco sells the exact same model tire… It disappointed me that this was their attitude and makes it harder for me to trust what they are saying.

    While this is a large operation, it felt like a family. Not only was everyone pleasant and friendly with us, you could also see the interaction amongst employees, with one another, that made it feel like a family. You don't get that too often in today's world, but when you do, it is the best. Our service tech Caroline was not only knowledgeable, but extended us those same warm feelings!

    Drove out here all the way from LA and the dealer refused to negotiate on a used car that they had me wait A MONTH to come see. Spoke with the manager who very frankly said he doesn't care for us at all and is only interested in making the deal happen so his employee gets paid. Then, he proceeded to fulfill zero of our proposed solutions, and simply dismissed our concerns about the car. We were told multiple times that someone else will buy it if we don't and they made it obvious that they don't care for us AT ALL. When I pointed out all the obvious flaws and concerns of the vehicle in hopes to negotiate, the manager just told us that someone else will come in, not notice those problems and buy the car. The pictures posted online were very low quality and done in a way to hide obvious concerns of the vehicle which show the previous owner had abused it. The vehicle itself was NOT QUALITY. Their website claims used (not CPO) vehicles have a warranty, which would be great. When we asked about it, they informed us this warranty is only for 30 days or 1k miles and there is no other option. Edit: it seems I can't reply to a reply so I'm going to edit my review here in regards to the general manager's reply. Here is the GM's response to my experience in case it gets lost: Artin, We appreciate that you drove down from LA, and were ready for you on the pre-negotiated price we both agreed upon during the previous week. The negotiated price with you was $2,683 off the listed price. The pictures you initially saw online were of the vehicle when it was first taken in on trade, and before it went thru our service department, and reconditioning to fix some scratches. Yes, the vehicle was out of the original manufacturer's warranty because of the age of the vehicle, but we do offer the Dealer warranty of 1k or 30 days at no cost on all vehicles with no manufacturer's warranty left. In addition, you would have been able to purchase an extended warranty thru BMW if you wished. We apologize if you didn't feel appreciated, we do indeed appreciate all of our customers and all future customers. Thank you, Craig Hauenstein General Manager BMW of San Diego Thanks for the response, Craig. There was no "pre-negotiated" price. Not once did I speak to anyone about the price before I drove two hours to get there and clearly that was my mistake. The "pre-negotiated" price you are referring to is your "list price" vs "online price" on the website. This is like if I told you I'll sell you a pack of gum for one dollar rather then two dollars and claim I'm giving you a deal when I actually always sell it at one dollar. This is the bs games you hear about that dealerships like to play. I understand the pictures I saw online were of the vehicle before it was ready. But why would you even list a vehicle if it's not in a sellable state, and won't be sellable for a month? This is misleading. During the time I spent waiting for you to fix the car, a couple others came and gone that I was interested in. But I waited for this one since I was working with your sales consultant for so long. I've working in auto sales and I know what it's like for a customer to bail. Again, my mistake. The vehicle being out of warranty was a concern we greatly expressed, yet neither the sales consultant nor the sales manager bothered to mention there is an option for an extended warranty. Doesn't that make you money anyway? It's a lose-lose not mentioning that! We were in fact informed about the dealer's 1k miles / 30 days warranty. We were also informed this warranty will cover parts/labor 50/50, meaning I'd have to pay for half the cost out of pocket.

Yes, the vehicle was out of the original manufacturer's warranty because of the age of the vehicle, but we do offer the Dealer warranty of 1k or 30 days at no cost on all vehicles with no manufacturer's warranty left. In addition, you would have been able to purchase an extended warranty thru BMW if you wished.     I had originaly wrote a 1 star review but after a few attempts to get help.I asked for a manager and quickly I was connected with Mr William. Was able to assist me asap and understand exactly where I was coming from. This is why I deleted my review and I am now giving them 4 stars. One improvement is taking care of me prior to me asking for a manager because I think we could avoid me bothering William.

    My experience was on the used car side of this dealership. I bought a 2020 X3M here, and while the car is great, and Ginnie in finance is great (she's the second star all on her own), the rest of the dealership is abysmal. The car they sold me had a defective title, and it took me 6 weeks to get resolution. Which only happened after I got BMW corporate involved. The used car sales manager, Blake Fitzgerald, should ensure his resume is up to date.

    I was in desperate need of an oil change and it took me a week to get an appointment. Once I arrived for my appointment Jayson was extremely helpful and efficient. He communicated with me that there was another issue that needed to be dealt with and assured me of a loaner car. When I returned to the dealership I waited 45 minutes to get the loaner car.

    After waiting for 3 months for our M3 order, we ended up having to walk away after a terrible experience with Ash in finance. He was rude, arrogant and condescending. He didn't want to honor the .9% rate we qualified for until we pushed back, then didn't want to help with the $500 military discount. It wasn't until I walked away that my salesman sent a text saying they will honor it now. A text in which he suggested my ego was getting in the way of a sale, rather than their poor customer service and deceiving business practices. I’ve never experienced such bad customer service at a dealership. We’re coming from Porsche where we’ve only had great experiences. I wanted to give BMW a try because we just had a baby so we wanted 4 doors and a stick shift, but after this experience we won't be giving BMW our business. This is the type of repeated experience that gives dealerships a bad name and leave people desiring an experience like Tesla offers. Just read the online forums to see the countless others who've gone through this nonsense. The average consumer is much more educated these days and the stereotypical games dealers play need to end. Save yourself the headache and find another dealer to work with.

    We can’t thank San Diego- BMW for their outstanding customer service. Just All- Around the staff here are phenomenal in getting what we need done in a professional, timely manner. Mr. Samuel K., (our Service Advisor) is the best. He is always pleasant and knowledgeable in what our car needs. It doesn’t matter what time or day, he will get back to us with an answer.     Unfortunately one of the technicians or some of the technicians are not fully experience when it comes to diagnosing problems with vehicles I am a technician myself and I told them that it was electrical problem with the speakers they told me I need a new speakers which ended up to be the hi-fi amplifier that was bad they told me it was speakers misdiagnosed the vehicle I do not really trust their services.

    My service advisor, Jayson, has been kind, courteous and professional, for years! I appreciate that I can call him anytime with questions and he always gets back to me promptly. Bringing my car in for service has always been swift, well organized and efficient. I'm not sure I love the new remodel, as it seems it has been done to make the drop of pick up procedure even more efficient, with with less human interaction and more texting. The system is more efficient. I guess I just miss the more human interaction of the phone call explanation about what my car needs. Oh well, guess I just need to get used to changing times!     Nice experience overall. It was a yearly tune up/ check up. Helpful sales/ account manager. Very quick overall as the car has few miles (only 34k) and barely driven through 2021. No issues. Could have rented a loaner but opted not to do so It was nice to know however that I had the option. Always a great perk with high end cars to be able to do this when servicing a car. Positive nice experience.

    I've never been to this dealership, and I'm so glad I came to this one!! 10 stars, they were very accommodating on short notice, and explained any extra fees that were required for my visit. Paperwork was seamless, courtesy car and car wash offered, but I opted to stay and wait; very nice waiting areas. I'd like to give a shout out to Adrian, my service advisor, and to Joshua the tire specialist for answering all my questions. Thank you for all your help, and I'm very satisfied with my visit.     Took my X5 in for an oil change and to inspect a strange noise that keeps occurring under engine. After a week of investigating the noise issue, they never found it, but suggested engine repair work that was not guaranteed to address the issue along with many other non necessary recommendations for repair. After declining most of the recommendations, I did have them proceed with two rear tires being replaced and balanced and an oil change. When I came to pick up my vehicle, my bill was 50% more than what was quoted for the work approved. So the dealership either overcharged me for what I approved or did work that I did not approve. Based on the confusing itemized bill, I am not sure which approach they took. Unfortunately, I was in a huge hurry and did not have time to negotiate, but after a quick meeting with a "manager", they did reduce my bill, but it was still MUCH higher than the approved work price stated to me. After getting that gut punch, I walk out tom retrieve my car and they didn't bother to wash or vacuum the vehicle. When I questioned the attendant, he said he had no idea why it wasn't cleaned and basically it was not his issue. While all of this is bad enough. This is the 3rd time now that the dealership has failed to clean/vacuum my car, which is supposed to be part of the service. I am officially done with this place. If I could give them 0 stars, I would. DO NOT GO TO THIS DEALERSHIP!

    Out of state (Arizona) purchase + trade-in. Here is how it went: I’ve visited BMW of San Diego on a Saturday mid-day a few weeks ago. Javier Osuna greeted me and showed me inventory based on my preferences. Javier was pleasant, knowledgeable, and had great suggestions. Javier is also a great listener too as he remembered and made sure all my preferences are addressed. Then we found the perfect car for me. Once we got working on numbers, I’ve met Stephen Kang. He put some fresh batteries in the calculator and we agreed on “numbers” for my trade and the new 2022 BMW. Considering I was out of state, Stephen explained how things work and we shook hands and wrapped the deal. The finance process was done with Marcos Lopez. Another great guy. It was done quickly although I went back and forth with the service contract, wheel protection, and few other options. Marcos was able to match my Credit union rate as well through BMW financial. This was by far one of the most pleasant vehicle purchases that I can remember. We also had some fun too. Looking forward to my first service!

    Chris Levy and the fantastic team of engineers at BMW of San Diego were my savior angels in a remote city. When my car broke down in San Diego during a long drive (road trip) Chris worked tirelessly with the team of engineers to get me back in the road and back home as soon as they could. They prioritized the diagnosis of the issues which caused my car to break down and fixed it with equally high priority. The quality of their service was very high. Chris touched base with me several times during the repair process and kept me updated on the progress. No pressure and pretty straight forward about all the options they provide. The "Genius" that helped me through some of the things that are available on my model was excellent and understood everything I asked.     Definetely the go to place to purchase a BMW. The staff were all so friendly and helpful especially my client advisor Chadi. Upon purchase my car had a scratch on the rubber gasket by the windshield but he helped us take care of it. Unfortunately can’t say the same for the new car manager Ash who was extremely unwelcoming and arrogant and proceeded to accuse us of recording him. Even after we purchased the car he never apologized to us and disappeared. Definitely, not what you would call customer service. Although Chadi made it up to us and apologized to us even though it wasn’t his fault in the first place. Best client advisor ever. Overall a five star experience if not for the manager.

Recently My factory warranty expired and I took my vehicle to this dealership for a very unique noise. It turned out to be pretty expensive repairs.     First and foremost David Trusdale is a God sent. Not only was he helpful and courteous throughout my visit, but he continued to keep me abreast of everything issue my beautiful 5 series was experiencing. He contact me via email and phone to ensure I was aware of every step that was taking place. Funny thing is my girlfriend has a Honda and was experiencing the exact same issue (air compressor malfunction) and her dealership seemed to leave her in the dark or confused her at every turn.     Received very good CS upon checking in for warranty brake flush service. Given nice loaner for the day and vehicle was done as promised. Only issue was they washed vehicle when I specifically told them no wash. SA even wrote it on work order. Didn’t notice any scratches from wash so all is good.

    I was assigned Arturo as my technician and main point of contact , A lot of back-and-forth first he caught me at $700 and bump up to 1000 once they have my car. The level of communication was super low not to mention I always got a attitude they made me wait an additional hour just to give me eight dollars off.     First time with BMW a lot to learn about this vehicle but they do offer you to sign up for a course to learn the in's and out's of your car. Staff are very friendly, but didn't find out until later that my car wasn't equipped with Navigation or satellite radio so that was definitely a bummer, and that is the only reason I put four instead of five stars... All in all nice car.

    Adrian my service advisor was extremely helpful in assisting me with a check engine light on my car. I was 400 miles from home when light went on. He was able to have a technician evaluate car on the same day. I was given an estimate of over $1,200.00 dollars. I called the dealer that had done work on the car a few days prior. My local dealer discussed with the service manager at BMW of San Diego what the issues were. I received a call from my local BMW dealer telling me they would approve around $290.00 for tightening clamps local dealer had left loose. The local dealer said he would evaluate other recommendations when I was able to take car to them. Upon my return, local dealer check out my car and indicated no additional work was needed. I question in my mind how the technician in San Diego recommended over $900.00 of work that the local dealer said was not needed. Makes me wonder why the large difference between dealers. Car is running fine at this time. What am I missing?

His manager was courteous and made it a point to come by frequently and took an active role in the process to make sure everything was as it should be. It was easily the smoothest, fastest and most enjoyable car buying experience I’ve ever had. I highly recommend the brand, but if you’re going to buy a BMW, this is where you should do it.     It was the most pain-free shopping experience I can remember. I had been shopping for a specific BMW model. I was told by other dealers that they would either add $10K to the sticker price to account for "market correction" and/or they wouldn't hold a vehicle, even with a deposit. Enter BMW San Diego. I was referred to them by another dealership's sales person and honestly expected the same sort of tactics. To my surprise, they were earnest, and transparent. We found a car they had en route that perfectly fit the bill for what I was after. Their sales manager and I worked out the deal over email. No mark-up, no nonsense. I even offered to put a deposit down to confirm my commitment and was told it's not necessary and that they would gladly hold the vehicle for me. The day I went to pick the vehicle up and finalize the paperwork, it was just a easy as the rest of the process. I wasn't strong-armed into buying packages during document signing, everything was exactly as it had been agreed upon in our emails, and I was out of there in about 90 minutes - and that was with the swap of a previously leased vehicle. They've earned my business and will be the first place I turn for future BMWs!

    I dont ever have high hopes for a dealership when it comes to cost, but when they wanted an additional 5 hours of diagnostic hours to track down a problem it seems excessive. text updates were nice. but be prepared to leave on a tow truck or max the cards if you take your car to a bmw dealership. also was told car would be washed received back dirtier than it was when i sent it in

    I took my care in to have a fly tire replaced. Since the could not patch a run flat and the 2 back tires were worn beyond what was safe, I bought 4 new tires. Tires were not in stock so the car had to remain at BMW for 4 days. They graciously gave me a loaner. My only complaint is that I asked my tire consultant to obtain a value for my car as I was interested in selling it. Unfortunately that never happened. Picked up the car on Saturday and was told that they do not make these Eva’s over the weekend.

    It’s rare to develop a long term relationship with a specific person in a car dealership. Luckily I have found Ash Kashani who has made my BMW buying experiences enjoyable and stress free. I feel very lucky that I have found him and will continue to buy vehicles from him as long as he is working. My salesperson , Meghan, also made my experience easy and satisfying. You can tell he has a ton of experience with all models and potential issues with each system.     The worst costumer service ever. Went in this place to replace the battery of my key they sent me to 3 different people till I finally be able to change the battery and ever single person I talked was rude not even a “welcome” or “how are you”, at the parts office the old that works there was very rude. That’s funny because I got my car at this location and when they were trying to sell the car they were the best people ever. I mean, the seller man Javier were very professional and educated but the rest of the team terrible. Again terrible experience.

    + The service team is relatively big and very professional. - They added TWO hard pulls to my credit files, one of them was not authorized. I had to report to the three credit bureaus of the incident. Update: the chief sales manager called me and explained their procedure and why they had two credit hard pulls instead of one. I concluded it as a communication issue. My sales advisor could've told me of it, so I could avoid the pulls.

    I love BMW of San Diego! The service advisors are great! I however have had some problems with service/ who ever is taking care of my X3. When I bring my vehicle in I expect to come home without problems. This last time I had a tire that needed replaced. I should have checked the air before leaving so that’s on me. But I felt I should trust their service. Anyway I checked the air and all my tires were over inflated by at least 3 psi on each tire. The front should be 33 psi and the rear 36. Mine were front 36 and rear 39. On a new 2023 X3. I haven’t driven it since bringing it home. So before I do, I need to check and correct the air pressure. I want my tires to last.

    From our first visit to the follow up home visit from Carlos a couple days after we took delivery of our car, our experience at BMW of San Diego surpassed any car buying experience we’ve ever had (including Audi dealers and Encinitas BMW). 2022 is not a great time to buy a new vehicle, but BMW of San Diego was totally transparent right from the start. There was no markup over MSRP (unlike our local BMW dealer) and I was able to order my car exactly how I wanted it. I took delivery earlier than promised. At my local dealer, I was going to have to pay $5k over MSRP (despite being a repeat customer) plus I had to essentially get in line for whatever car they’d already preordered, AND I couldn’t pick and choose my options. My BMW of SD salesperson kept me updated on the status of my car and called me when it was getting shipped. Carlos at BMW of SD (who we met with on delivery day) spent a solid two hours with us when we picked up the car, going over the features, the self-parking mode, and answering all our questions with tremendous patience! What was really exceptional was what happened a couple days after we brought the car home and could NOT program our homelink for our garage door. Carlos offered to come to my home and help- despite the fact that my home is in North County. He was here for at least 90 minutes, troubleshooting with me. Never have I EVER had this kind of service from a car dealership. It’s rare to have this level of service from ANY company (and we’ve frankly been pretty disappointed by the service we’ve had from our local BMW dealer). Without a doubt, BMW of San Diego will get our future business and we will share our high praise for this dealership with anyone who is looking for a new BMW.

    Christian is definitely the definition of a greasy car salesman. I traded in a 2020 Mercedes CLA 250 for a 2017 330i. Instead of him being honest and letting me know how much more it was going to cost me in the long run he did everything he could to make it seem like I would be paying less. 1 year later I am under 6k on a downgraded car BUT I am paying “$80 less” a month. (Sarcasm) I wont ever recommend anyone to Christian. He needs to Re evaluate his morals. Also wish BMW would hold higher standards on who they hire , fiduciary duties as car salesman needs to be a law.

    They do not answer their phones, or their lines are cut. Called their service, parts, and main desk multiple times throughout last week, and this week, across different times of the day, cross-checked with their open hours.     I had a terrible experience with BMW of San Diego. My car's fuel pump went out and the car stalled out on the side of the freeway. They replaced it for free under warranty, however, a week later the same exact issue occurred. I was stuck on the side of the freeway for almost 2 hours waiting for a tow truck because of a problem they claim to have fixed. I brought the car back to them, and they charged me a $195 diagnostic fee to tell me that my starter and battery were bad. The starter was bad because I was stuck on the freeway trying to start my car back up! I work at a dealership so I understand how diagnostic fees work, but for something as simple as telling me that my starter and battery are bad (takes less than 5 min to diagnose that), being charged that much is completely unreasonable. I replaced the starter and battery myself and took the car back in for the fuel pump issue, they found that the fuel pump module was bad this time. I'm not sure how they didn't determine that the first time around, but their misdiagnosis of my fuel pump issue cost me $195 and a tow truck fee. Very greedy dealership, I would not recommend them to anyone.

    I brought my brand new M3 that was purchased at another dealership to BMW of San Diego for a tire service. I previously purchased an extended warranty for wheel/tire, which was provided to the service associate at the time of drop off. They did not have the tire in stock, so it had to be ordered. I was given a loaner vehicle and told that once the tire was replaced, I could pick up my vehicle. No problem, easy up until this point. The next day, the tire was received and the service was performed on my M3. I signed two invoices that were emailed to me indicating the work was performed, and there was a zero balance. I was also informed that the car was ready to be picked up. However, I was also informed that I could not pick up my car until the warranty company submitted payment for the tire. I indicated to them that I needed my own vehicle, and I would be coming to pick the vehicle up since the paperwork I signed indicated the car was ready, and there was a zero balance due from me. I was told that it was their policy to not release customer's cars to them until warranty payments were made. I was not informed of the policy beforehand. *Edit - they reached out to me and clarified the policy, and the issues were discussed. All parties were very nice in attempting to resolve the matter.

    Dream come true to nightmare... Please read full review to understand my situation.. Used BMW Dealer of Kearney Mesa 10 feet over from the actual dealer, gave my wife and I our first ever BMW experience. Matt and Jeff were awesome and made our visit highly enjoyable. We bought a 2015 M3 on 11/15/2016 and we have been more than happy with our purchase. Good Experience: Before purchasing the car Matt and Jeff advised me that the bumper needed to be repainted due to road rash. I saw the car in person at the body shop as well. When I finally took the car home I noticed the front bumper paint was off from the whole car. Called the SA and he advised me to bring the car in and they will have the Body Shop repaint it. They gave me a loaner and I was off. This was good customer service.. Bad Experience: The bad experience isn't with the dealer, but the actually body shop. I was already mad at the Body Shop for messing up the paint job the first go around. They did correct the front bumper a little the second time around, but they left my a nasty over-spray throughout the whole car ( I didn't realize this until 3 days after the rain stopped). Since I like to detail my own cars, I was able to see the over-spray throughout the whole entire car. It was so bad I had to call my insurance company to file a claim. I hope this dealer learns from my experience and change the body shop. The body shop made my experience from amazing to irritated. Please pick your shops wisely if they are going to represent your company. Again, I will buy my car again from both Matt and Jeff, but if the car I buy needs touch up. I will not purchase the car.

    I went in for my yearly service and was pleasantly surprised at how friendly the staff was. I was greeted right away and then given over to a very friendly service manager. The service was done within 2 hours and my car was washed at the end. The lounge where I waited was very comfortable and I was easily able to hook up to the free WiFi so that I could work while I was there.

    From the purchase with our salesperson Matt A in Pre-Owned.... through to some tinting soon after with Kevin G in service our experience at San Diego BMW has been 5-star. Matt understood his product, priced the car with us fairly and kept an eye on our needs every step of the way. No pressure at any point in the process.     I didn’t wait too long to meet with a service advisor (I had an appointment). Chris Levy was the service advisor and he was wonderful. Super friendly, efficient, and comforting. I wish BMW would assign a particular serviced person to a customer - I would choose Chris for sure.

    We’ve leased several BMW’s from SD BMW and they’ve always done a great job especially when it comes to service and getting things fixed quickly. Recently I purchased a 2018 used M6 and had several minor things fixed up on it. I took it back a few times and both Adrian & Marcelino in Service did a fantastic job getting everything handled and taking care of me as of a customer. Keep up the good work.

    Service time was longer, but they are understaffed so understandable. Only real complaint, car came back dirtier than when dropped off. Was supposed to be washed, but it was overlooked. When brought up to technician, he stated “bring it up to advisor” and left it at that. Same happened last time I brought it in about 6 months ago, but they stated washing services were down. Personnel were nice, facility is clean.

    Great experience from beginning to end here! I first reached out through the dealer website chat and was called back quickly by Chadi Haddad. I gave the parameters of what I was looking for and by the time we got to the dealership, he had picked the perfect model and had it out front and ready to for me to test drive. From there the process was incredibly easy and efficient, including everything with Financial Services. Amy Riggs with BMWFS was fantastic and explained everything involved in my lease and add-on services clearly and concisely. I drove away with the exact car I wanted within 3 hours of arriving at the dealership, which is pretty amazing. I'd highly recommend working with Chadi and Amy, both are very knowledgeable, capable, and genuinely enjoyable to work with.

    Our sales person Kimberly was great. No pressure shopping and was a pleasure from the sales to the Finance support (Marcos). We bought a used BMW X6 and I was surprised that maintenance called to schedule an appt to do a few things such paint touch up, lift gate isn’t working or we are doing it wrong, it’s the fact I didn’t have to call them. Love service like that getting rare in the last year with a lot companies.

    First and foremost a amazing experience with Shawn Shantiai he was great. I called him regarding 2021 m440xi and gave him the run down on what kind of numbers I needed for my girlfriend to make a purchase. He worked extremely hard to make everything possible and was so fast. I called him at 11 am by noon we had the numbers crunched and we arrived by 2 pm to make the purchase. This was hands down one of the best and most personable experiences ever and look forward to working with him again for future BMW purchase.     Easy to make service appointment online. David Truesdale made sure my experience was exceptional. I was greeted quickly, service plan and cost reviewed and loaner car provided in less than 15 minutes. Service was completed in less time than expected and my car was in the aisle ready to go as I paid my invoice.

    Great service department department the only reason not 5 stars is their loaner cars are always filthy. This last time I had crumbs on the dashboard and dried soda all over the center console. The inside windshield hadn’t been wiped down in a while. If they clean the cars it would be 5 stars.

    Right away we want to say that some folks here are very nice (2 stars are for them). Here are our reasons for the 2 stars. 1. On multiple occasions we would schedule an oil change and maintenance service with this location and after coming and waiting for an hour we were told that the car looks good but the oil change is not due. Why not say that during the scheduling? Who has time to waste? This happened 3 times and we even call twice for the same appointment to make sure that the oil change is due. 2. When our car was a year old it had an issue with the door locking system. We were told it is not on warranty. 3. When our car was 4 years old we had an issue with a screeching noise. We paid $190.00 for the inspection. They did not determine the cause. Offered to look further for an additional fee. 4. We had an extended warranty ($2500.00 - 100,000.00 miles) that only covered 5 oil changes (very expensive oil changes). For everything else, we had to pay a $190.00 inspection fee and when the price was quoted based on what needed to be done. I would never buy an extended warranty from them. 5. Some associates are rude and very disrespectful. We are kinda done with this location.

    I usually have good service here but this time it was fair. I like that the loaner car is a great convenience for dropping off my car and still being able to do the things I need to do (go to work, do errands, etc.). What I wasn’t satisfied with was when they notified me by text that my car was ready for pickup. I arrived about 45 minutes to an hour later and as I was paying for the services, the clerk asked me if I wanted my car washed. I had stated when I dropped my car off the day before that yes, I wanted my car washed. I figured when they said my car was ready, it was totally ready!! I ended up not getting the wash because I had no time to wait another 30 minutes, the car should have been ready to go. Also, the service advisor noticed I had no windshield wiper fluid when my car was dropped off, he said he would top that off for me and that wasn’t done, either. Poor service for the price you pay at a dealership, not happy about it.
