Brian Wiech was my favorite part of the whole process though!!! In just 4 months he got our credit repaired and up high enough to buy our first home!!! We originally thought getting a mortgage would be really stressful, but working with Kalamazoo Mortgage and especially Mike Miller proved that it did not have to be a stressful process. Mike went out of his way to make sure he was always available even if it was a small simple question. Throughout the process he always made sure we understood every step and was comfortable with all the decisions we had to make. One thing that really stood out to us was one day we had a question during the weekend and even though he was not in the office but at a family function he took time out of his day to reach out immediately and helped us find the an answer. 10/10 would recommend Mike and Kalamazoo Mortgage to anyone who is looking to buy a home!

My husband and I used Kalamazoo Mortgage to purchase our first home. From the very first call to the day we closed the entire staff was incredibly friendly, helpful, and worked hard to help get us into our first home. The very first day we reached out, Matt was very helpful and answered all of our questions. He even got us a list of things in order of importance that we needed to do in order to get approved for a mortgage. Once we got those done, we worked with Mike to go through the rest of the process. Mike was awesome. He was willing to answer all our questions whenever we had them and helped to quell our fears/frustrations of buying a house in this crazy housing market. He worked hard to get us the best rate possible. Jason also helped process our mortgage and was very helpful in answering questions about the underwriting process. All around it was a great experience, and we would highly recommend Kalamazoo Mortgage!!!

Kalamazoo Mortgage worked their tails off to get us the right mortgage for the house we needed. Eric, Jason, Ashley, and Brian all worked so hard to get us the best deal for us and they were able to work it so we get twice the house for 35% less than what we were paying previously! Throughout the process they made sure that we were kept up to date and aware of each step in the process. First I would like to say the initial person we work with I believe was Matt and he was amazing! He was quick to answer his calls and dived right in to help get us to where we needed and wanted to be. Once our home buying process started we were working with Rochelle, we hit some hiccups that ultimately was not due to Kalamazoo Mortgage, but they helped us through it. We had a few delays but they answered my calls every time or called me back same day.

Been a headache since day one. Not even a month into our home and already having tons of issues with the home owners insurance, now we’re about 4 months in and STILL having issues with the insurance. One person says one thing another says something different. I called multiple times and no one ever called me back but they claim that didn’t happen, so they called me a liar. Then changed what they said and said they didn’t call me back because I’m not on the paperwork, even though they had my husband sign something that said I could talk to them about the insurance, they claimed I never signed that even though I have the copy in front of me. They treat me as a child and call my dad and husband even though we have all requested that they talk to me about everything.

Amazing place to work with great people, Eric and Edmundo did a great job, they were able to point us in every right direction we really did not have to do much ourself. Thank you guys very much for everything you have done to help us get into our new home life changing experience
