Jerry's Pawn & Gun Inc Nw 8th St, Ocala

Used them as an FFL transfer ($40!!! Highest in Ocala!!) for my PSA lower. I do not have a CCW, so I expected the 3 day rule. However, They held the lower 3 business days AFTER they received it. I ordered the lower on 5/15 (Sunday)- it was received by Jerry’s 5/19 (Thursday)- and they said I had to wait until 5/25 (Wednesday) - so a WHOLE SEVEN BUSINESS DAYS due to their ignorance of the law- DESPITE receipt of purchase. When questioned about the law and definition of “purchase”- they said “the purchase is when we [Jerry’s Pawn] get the ‘valuable consideration [the lower I purchased from the mfg.]’”- erroneously quoting the law. They were rude and affirmed that that’s how it is and should be done. They are not the “retailer” per the law! - what are they going to do- resell me a gun I already bought?!?!! Where do these pompous ignoramuses get off?!?! Fool me once…

Insane price gouging. 150 dollars for 150 rounds of 5.56 and box was open with 2 different kinds of ammo. Will avoid in the future

Well from the looks of MOST of the reviews about Jerry's this isn't going to be a very original post. Surprise, their staff was rude when I went there. Not really a big deal, it's not uncommon in pawn shops, and it's definitely not uncommon at Jerry's. You would think if half of the reviews mention this poor behavior, they would do something about it, but oh well. Not my problem. Next up, and this is going to be redundant also, their prices are insanely high. They have stuff in there that I have bought recently for half of what they are asking. The Maadi for $2500?!?! Lol. They must not have internet access in Slow-cala. Quick scan through the ol interweb and you can find them for $1000 cheaper. PLEASE research BEFORE you buy ANYTHING there. Especially their Colt pistols. They have a Python in there with a 2.5" Barrel that has OBVIOUSLY had the barrel replaced. I really hope someone doesn't make a $7k dollar whoopsie on that one. Prior to buying any Colts from Jerry's and other less reputable pawn shops, get the serial number and call Colt archive. They will tell you over the phone for FREE how it left the factory on Colts manufactured after 1980. A python without the original barrel is not worth $7k They had a few other Colts thet were very suspicious. Please research before buying anything at Jerry's. Better yet, I would avoid Jerry's all together. Not a business worth supporting. If they keep this up, they won't have enough friends and family to keep their Google review score above the paltry 3.7 stars that they have now.

Purchased a firearm from here everything went fine until pick up they did not inform me that we needed to have a state issued copy of my current address and the one on my id from Jacksonville was not valid. Cause its not local. Lack of information. This was all known at the time if purchase but i was not informed.

Serious price gouging during ammo shortage:$1.10 per round of 9mm ball ammo. Further, because I wore a mask, I was spoken to with sarcasm and derision. Very poor service. If asked, I’d discourage any patronage of this business.

Called there earlier today about a particular 9 mm the associate was in not any hurry to help me at at all. Won't shop there or recommend them. Where is customer service these days? Pawn shops are known to be d bags but not to the purchaser.

Went in to make a purchase and the staff was kind and knowledgeable even went out of the way to hold something for me until later that afternoon so I wouldn’t miss out on it since it was the only one they had. I will definitely go back.

Jerry’s Pawn and Gun is the real deal. The staff is great and knows what they are talking about when you are interested in a product. Great people, great staff, great products. Guns, fishing, jewelry, damn near anything you need you can get there. Highly recommend.

Their fishing selection is Second to none they have everything you could ever want in stock. Awesome bait selection.

Great store I have bought many guns there. Received my first gun from that store at around 8 years old. I had a slightly discerning experience there at about 17 the manager or owner walked in and saw what was going on and handled the situation immediately. I hadn't been in for some years went it a week ago and had the same great experience I remembered as a kid. Didn't have some of the things I was looking for they offered to get them in at my request.
