I don't think I have ever given such a low rating before. Our closing experience was not good and made me question the safety of our personal information after my experience. We were set to close, sent our papers in like we were asked to and we we thought we were done. The next day, which was the buyers closing day, I happened to check my email. I found out that the Escrow officer changed the terms of the contract and tied our signatures from the day before to the document. If I hadn't had opened my email I would have been in for a -$2,500 sticker shock that I had not agreed to. My realtor tracked her down and asked her about it. And told her she needed to call. She said she forgot to add her title fees to the document. When she called me she knew she had been in the wrong in changing the tearms and using our signature. I told her we would have been okay with the fees yesterday and today but what we are upset about is you taking our signatures and using them for something else. She then proceeded to appologize for forgetting to add the fees again. I explained to her again this is not what weare upset with. We are upset about you taking our signatures and puting them on a new condition without asking. She said she was in a hurry and hastily made the decision to do this. I asked for her supervisor information because I was seeing I was not getting through to her. I got her supervisor who agreed this was not right and she would be talked to. She said she would send a docusign out with the correct amount and would put minimum fees. She gave us a $350 discount. I still am worried about my personal data though with this company for these reasons and I would not recommend them for this reason.

Recently refinanced a home and had a pretty terrible experience with Inwest Title. Inwest messed up on my closing amount, which resulted in extra trips to the bank, and extra time wasted. Nobody in the office took responsibility for the error, and I was left working with my lender to try and fix it. I'll be taking my title business elsewhere in the future to a company that actually takes responsibility for its mistakes, instead of making the customer feel like it's their fault.

I'm a mortgage loan officer and I work with title companies frequently. It's nice to work with Inwest because they know what they're doing and they do a great job at it all the while being super friendly and accommodating.
