Great people to work with! Refi'd my car through Heritage and Jacob was super friendly and provided outstanding service. It was also super convenient to process everything digitally/remotely. Would recommend to friends :)

Someone tried to steal my identity and attempted to open checking and savings accounts at multiple institutions. Heritage was the only bank that not only identified the fraud, but also took the initiative to call and text me to let me know what had happened. Unfortunately the other banks didn't do anything at all even when they declined to open the accounts. If I lived closer to this credit union they'd have a new customer!

I've grown tired of the hokie,we are better than big banks because we are a community credit union line. Besides beinp it's not true. My big bank Chase, has Modern Mobile banking, and the abiliy to do something I would have believed would be standard, make electronic payments on a loan. I was told by an employee of the credit union, and I kid you not " It is a privalage that I'm a member/ customer. When I pushed back in disbelief. he said it again.

Beware of the Rockford Heritage Credit Union. I don't know what they are trying to do but they are trying to pull some kind of scam. This past Friday I stopped to take some money out of my account. I sent my license in for identification, when I received the envelope back and signed the slip my license was not included. I called for the teller and asked for my license, and was informed I had received it back. I double checked the envelope and it was not inside. I again asked for my license and was told they had returned it to me. We then had a standoff with me looking all over the inside and out side of my vehicle, and they just went about there business. I then asked again for my license and was told they were waiting for the camera to tell them where it went. After another wait I was told the camera showed they had returned my license and would I pull around so they could search my vehicle. I complied and they search and found nothing. They then went back in the building and a few minutes later returned with my license. I was then told my license jumped out of the envelope, leaped about 6 of 7 inches in the air, flew 3 or 4 inches out the window, landed on the ground and ran underneath my vehicle. I know this was all a lie on their part because every time I spoke to them there story changed. If I could give them less then i star I would. I have been a member for over 30 years an have never been treated so bad by this facility.

The staff is always very friendly and helpful. I have used them for 4 auto loans and the process is simple to use and understand. Their loan officers are ready and able to help happily. I don’t feel like I’m going to the principal’s office because I need to borrow money. Highly recommend them!

I've banked with Heritage Credit Union for over 30 years now and have always had good experiences with them. The Tellers and Loan Officers I've dealt with have always been helpful and friendly, which is exactly why I've stayed with them for so long.

Literally the Best banking experience ever first off Lisa Schmidt is a complete God send a true professional with a beautiful smile who genuinely cares about helping a person with there banking needs . She explained every single thing I needed to know she made sure I understood the ins and outs of this credit union and she made sure I felt completely welcomed .She helped me sign up for my mobile banking app. She made sure I was able to login on my phone before I left . I explained to her that I've been working on fixing my credit to hopefully soon purchase a vehicle she made sure I understood the when I'm ready i can come to her for my vehicle loan . One more thing I explained to her I work a 2 jobs n I was laid off of my full time job . And I was in a financial bind ...So I ask if I was able to apply for a small personal loan she said of course you can I said even though I only opened my account with 5 dollars she said Yes ....and hour later she called me told me to come in and pick up my check I couldn't believe how much this lady had helped me all in a matter of a few hours I was able to enjoy my last week off work with bills paid n money in my pocket I Thank God for this Lady she's truly a Blessing to me and anyone who may need help this is the Best Credit Union in Rockford and with the Best customer service experience ever 😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊

Horrible customer service the branch manager Tyler is a poor of excuse of a branch manger. I hope no ever needs there account information because it will take them weeks to even get anything done no matter how many times you go in there. I will be canceling my account not worth the hassle!!

Wow! Refinancing a vehicle couldn’t have been easier, smoother or faster! Marsha S worked with me online and she was absolutely fantastic and on top of it! I’ve tried working on this same refinance at 3 other banks over the last year and they took weeks and months and then said no she had it done in less than 24 hours! Highly recommend them and will definitely be our new go to spot for vehicular needs.

Great service! Tom and Heritage Credit Union have been great to me I have auto loan through Heritage Credit Union I also have a motorcycle loan through Heritage Credit Union a Heritage Credit Union credit card and also a personal loan through Heritage Credit Union! I would like to get rid of all my credit card and have one credit card through Heritage Credit Union that's my goal and to have all my finances through Heritage Credit Union again they have great service the interest rates are great. We always are pleased with Heritage Credit Union. We recently opened our 3rd car loan. Best rates around. Tom Clausen at the Rockford branch is very helpful, efficient and professional. We are more than happy to continue our relationship, much more personal than a big bank.

After our car was a Total Loss in an accident this past month, we did our reaponsibility in calling Heritage to let them know the car was a Total Loss. We wanted to ensure that our monthly paymemt that was due in 3 weeks from the accidemt wouldnt be taken out of our account due to the fact we no longer owned the car. Tyler the branch manager at the Rockford location ensured us that it was taken care of and the payment wouldnt be taken out. Well today our payment was taken from our bank account. Luckily we are not in a financial bind as so many people are during this pandemic but it is still unacceptable and unprofessional to be told one thing and then find out that the proper steps werent taken to ensure that what we were told was going to be the case. After they failed to hold up their end, we were told that the paymemt would be put into a heritage savings account unless we came and picked it up due to the bank process taking longer than us coming a picking it up. This is quite an inconvenience considering weve had to deal with the process of obtaining a new vehicle and the credit union is an hour from where we live. Never had any problema with Heritage before this bit the level of unprofessionalism couldnt he ifnores on this one. If a man doesent have his WORD then he has nothing at all.

It is wonderful to always know that Heritage Credit Union is there for me for any loans that I have needed. Even out of state they have not failed to accommodate and go above and beyond.
