I was looking for a cash lender so that my offer to a buyer would be more competitive. I was able to make a cash offer (important in this market) and got the contract. Michael was great to work with. He helped salvage a deal for my Buyer who's Conventional Loan fell apart 3 days prior to Close Of Escrow. Great follow up skills and easy to work with. Very disappointed, Michael said he was going to help us and get back to us. We kept trying to get on the phone but we kept getting weird automatic texts from new numbers. On day 3 we ended up getting a hold of a guy named Brian and he sounded confused and I asked to speak to Michael. He said he couldn't help us and that they dont do hard money loans. Very confusing for us. We ended up loosing the property. It says they are a 24 hour service but seems like random people playing games with people's phone numbers and time. I wouldn't not recommend this company if you are serious about getting a house in a fast market.

Barrett Financial got our deal done when no one else could. It was a complicated transaction with a new home builder who wasn’t familiar with creative types of funding so that was an issue. I can’t say enough about Michael & Nicole for their efforts to get this done. I’m a Realtor and this is by far one of the most complicated transactions I’ve ever undertaken. Quite frankly, I wasn’t even sure if it could even be done, but Barrett said it could, and it was! It wasn’t easy by no means and I may have had a few mini heart attacks throughout the process but thankful we were able to get it done!

Michael walked me through the process by email and texting , and some phone calls. He helped me a lot when we hit a snag or two and made sure the loan closed without issue.

Wow, Michael and his team were amazing. I bid on an investment property and had 8 days to close. 48 before closing my hard money lender said my LLC had to be registered in california and if we didn’t close in time we’d lose our deposit. I didn’t want to put it in my personal name due to liability and taxes, but Michael was able to step in and get absolutely everything done and ready to fund by the next day. From application to funding was the fastest I’ve seen. The rate I wasn’t thrilled about, but the customer service, communication, and execution were so good that I’d gladly pay an extra 1% to work with them again. I couldn’t recommend this team enough for being able to do things others couldn’t in tight timeframes

The virus had us change our house plans. We purchased a lease option that we needed to get converted to a mortgage.
