    I do not recommend this bank for any type of loan. I was laid off at the end of April 2022 and I notified the Bank what happened. Not one person was sensitive to the situation and was told to make the payment. No defferred program available which really sucks. On top of trying stay on top of other bills to keep a roof over my kids head I am being forced to decide wether to keep my vehicle and scavage to put funds together to pay my vehicle. Also, skip a pay is being offered with ridiculous terms that's really no help to me. Closing my accounts as soon as I get on my feet!!

    Anita Jordan was fabulous! She took care of everything I needed to have done. She was extremely polite, respectful, professional and informative. She made today really easy for me. I will definitely be coming back to have her help me in the future!

    Don’t waste your time educator friends. They don’t listen to your concerns when it comes to fraudulent activity. I swear everyone is a robot! I’m moving my account ASAP!

    Anita is wonderfully progressional, knowledgeable and accommodating. She walked me through each step, took her time, and was very patient. I was initially assisted by another young lady regarding a different service and she was equally as professional. I unfortunately did not get her name. After banking with another institution for many years, and based on my experience today, I am hopeful that I will have a better banking experience overall!

    I usually bank with NFCU, but I wanted a separate account to put my savings in, and something separate from my primary credit union. I opened up an account online, and went to the Summerwood location today, 6/11/2021, and experienced the worst treatment ever. I went into the branch to make my initial deposit and Dawson Powell treated me and my family so horribly. Dawson was unwilling to print a new card for me because he said the system "created one already and it made no sense in getting me another, when I could just wait." I told him I did not know that, the email said I could come in or order one, I decided to come in. Dawson Powell said well the computer did it for you and the only way I could get another is if I pay for it. The lack of customer service, understanding, and eagerness to assist a NEW customer was a total shock. I understand now why people choose larger banks versus credit unions, because this was a total shock to me. It seemed as if I was interrupting Dawson from his free time, since I was the only customer there. I decided to close my NEW accounts that same day, but wanted to let GULF COAST to know what is going on in their branch, because they need to do better for us educators. When I told Dawson I wanted to close my account because I did not like the way I was being treated, he said "no problem" went to this ATM machine and requested to close my account. I WILL NEVER BANK WITH THIS BANK EVER AGAIN AND I ENCOURAGE ALL OF MY PEERS NOT TO AS WELL. There are too many financial institutions that will treat you appropriately, this type of treatment is unprofessional and unnecessary.
