    Came in twice today to open an account, the 1st time I waited 20 minutes and left because no one was available to help the relationship manager had a client in her office. Then I came back an hour later to try again and waited 30 minutes this time the relationship manager just sat at her desk with no client and didn’t even acknowledge me as I was walking out. I am glad I experienced this upfront, because an account here with Greater Texas Credit Union would have been terrible to deal with. I definitely do not recommend anyone to do business with them.

    Horrible customer service, got treated like a criminal by the RUDEST teller i’ve ever come across in my life, for depositing what i personally consider a small amount of hard earned money. I’ve been with GTFCU for almost 20yrs. There’s a better way to communicate bank safeguards against fraud, without treating a loyal customer like a criminal.

    Horrible customer service. They were not trying to help in my situation and made me feel like I was a criminal. Ridiculous! Glad I don’t use them for my banking institution.

    This banks customer service is almost nonexistent. I can never seem to get in contact with somebody real, and can never seem to get in contact with my branch. I’ve had my cards canceled about five times since I’ve been with his bank and twice they’ve done it without giving me notice. As you would expect I was in a lose lose situation as I couldn’t even access my financial earnings that I worked so hard for, not to mention I have a child to take care of. All these people can ever seem to say is “I’m sorry for the inconvenience “. Furthermore my cards were being canceled because of bank errors, not fraud detection. Why should I be penalized for the faults of the bank ? I take zero satisfaction and playing mind games just to access my money. Your branch members even called me right before they closed to get my card, knowing I wouldn’t be able to do so because the lobby is closed.

    Opened an account 4 years ago through a referral from a common friend. I was just about to start a career and just had an offer letter but not pay stubs and i did not own a car. That was going to be my first car and they happily approved me for a loan while a lot of other banks were hesitant. I was very pleased with the efficiency and timely communication of their loan department. I have financed 3 cars since the last 4 years and all 3 have been from GTFCU.

    I don’t think I’ve ever disliked a bank more than I do these people. I have proof that I was charged for something I never received. They would not help me with disputing the claim at all. Also I get paid every other Friday and for some reason I wake up on Friday mornings and my check is still not in my account. They don’t post it for hours and that’s absolutely ridiculous to me Customer service is horrible and you really can’t get anyone in an emergency. I will be removing all of my funds today i’m going back to Chase. The only reason I opened an account was because I wanted to finance something with them but I will not be using this bank further

    I have been with Greater Texas for over 10 years and am about to close my account. Their customer service is NON EXISTENT! I just paid off my vehicle loan 4 months ago and still have not received my title. I CANNOT get ahold of anyone on the phone and when you click on call back for later in the day they don’t call you back! I don’t live in Arlington anymore so I guess I will have to drive to Arlington and walk in the branch to get this matter taken care of. Don’t waste your time with this credit union unless you want terrible customer service ! There are plenty of other credit unions to chose from like Neighborhood Credit or Altra Credit Union, they answer their phone immediately. I will be closing my account ASAP! This credit union is the absolute worse when it comes to customer service I would give them 0 Stars if I could! I am still on hold as I write this! 30 minutes! What a joke ! Run away from this company find another alternative! Trust me you will save yourself a great deal of frustration! Best regards!

    Great Credit Union! I need copies made of each and every transaction. They accommodate with no questions. I am always greeted with a "Hello" and a smile. ALL of the staff seem knowledgeable and act as though they are enjoying their job. The service is very fast. Best of all... NO FEES for doing my banking with them!

    Worse bank I've ever dealt with!!! Today is Monday 9:30AM there's only one person to service customers. I have been trying to withdraw MY MONEY to pay my rent since Friday night, the ATM machine won't give me cash, and here I am waiting for my money while I'm supposed to be at work. I'm looking for a new bank today!
