Kira and Jennifer at the Bountiful Branch are amazing to work with. They always answer my questions and help me with whatever I need. I no longer live near a GWCU and they still make the process so easy and seamless.

They’ve always been wonderful to work with. I just got my first loan with no credit and I was able to get only a 6% interesting instead of what the dealership estimated (8-10%). Spencer is my favorite, whenever I come in he always makes me laugh. On top of this their banking app is super easy to work!

Got a lot of help sorting out bad cars from good ones whenever I went through discussing financing with employees from Goldenwest.

My account started with a car loan and slowly over the past few years this institution has captured more and more of my business. Due in part to the better rates and more flexible loan payments and underwriting, but also because the employees at my local branch are all very nice and professional. They are such a cut above that I am actually motivated to write a review about a credit union. If you are looking for a financial institution I'd recommend golden west first.

Update: went t close out an account and payoff a loan due to experience. Sounds like Online application is different than actually visiting the branch. The branch has always been cordial. WARNING: do not apply online, but go ahead and do it at the branch... 5 stars for the branch, Negative stars for any online process. Poor communication from online applications. ------------------------------- Would not recommend, we have tried several times to do local business with them, and had an official appraisal months prior to attempting to work a different HELOC, came back and under valued by over 150k without allowing us to even pay for an official appraisal. Opened up two minor/student accounts, and some headaches around that. Will payoff a vehicle loan and would not think of ever going back to them or recommending them. Vehicle loan was through a dealership (not by our choice)

I worked with Elora on an auto loan, and this being my first one I was very nervous. She made the process so streamlined and easy, and explained all the little details for me.
