As a first time home buyer in 2021, I was mostly clueless to the financial side of buying a home. Alan Blood and the team at CFG guided me through the process. Alan was always willing to answer my questions or run some numbers on a home I was interested in. I never felt pushed and always felt like he was helping me to get the best deal possible. After the loan process was complete and I saw how all the financial pieces of the process worked, I can absolutely say that the team at CFG helped us lock in the best deal my family and I could get on our home. I would definitely recommend the team at CFG Home Loans when purchasing a home.

This is my fourth time working with CFG Loans over the last 14 years and I've always been very impressed with their knowledge and customer service. I don't feel like I'm paying unnecessary/hidden fees and they are able to get the best rates. I started out working with the company because of Alan Blood but everyone I've worked with since has been just as exceptional and I recommend them to everyone.

Bryce and the CFG Team were great to work with. They not only walked us through the process, but offered solutions to questions. In addition we learned they are pseudo consultants. They have many different offerings that meet a whole host of peoples needs. If you are buying a home, refinancing or simply have questions about options, CFG is a great company to reach out to.

I recently attended a two hour online Zoom class taught by Alan where he explained these details to a small group of overseas military spouses looking to buy homes when they move back to the states. The insights and tips Alan shared with us was invaluable! Alan Blood and Colleen Ford were instrumental in getting my partner and I the best possible rate on our first home. They guided us through the entire process and re-explained things 2 or 3 times whenever we needed, including some basic home-buying questions that should really have been answered by a realtor, which we didn't have in the beginning. Alan and Colleen went above and beyond for us during this CRAZY market. They have staff who cover weekend shifts, so there was never more than an hour or two turnaround when we needed documentation for offer letters. I recommend CFG Home Loans to all my friends and family (and strangers and colleagues and rando's on the street, haha!).

The Team at CFG Home Loans is incredible! From the first contact to the follow up with available options, they were anxious to spend the time talking through all of the details, explaining some of the things I didn't understand. I love that they are a brokerage meaning they shop around for me, comparing multiple lenders to find the one that matched my needs and could offer me the best deal. Their use of technology is secure and easy to follow, we were able to complete almost everything digitally with minimal interruption; when there was an update, something I needed to review, sign or provide, I'd get an email notification with a link and a clear description of the action I needed to take. Often if it was urgent and I didn't respond within a few hours, I'd get a friendly phone call from someone at the office who'd talk me through the action and any questions I had. Finally the closing was fantastic! Pandemic considered the closing office was clean, safe and the office staff took the necessary precautions to help us feel comfortable and safe. I've used CFG for a new home purchase and a couple of refinances. I trust them to have my best interest at heart. Thanks Team!

Update: Alan got back to us and made it right. Review changed to 5 stars for following up with us with very favorable terms on closing our refinance. We are very happy after finishing up our refinance and would go back to CFG again. When we bought our house nearly four years ago, CFG was great to work with. Everything went relatively smoothly, we got a good interest rate with no closing costs- perfect for first time home buyers. 3 stars, however for our most recent experience with refinancing. Everything was going well and we were happy with our rate and terms. Then the process took a little longer than expected and our rate expired after we had done everything we needed to to finish refinancing. Alan said he was trying get in touch with our lender to extend our rate lock so we could close and then... crickets. We tried several times to get into contact with either Alan or RJ and they have been completely unresponsive. We were ghosted, I assume because we hit a hitch in the process. Not that I would know, because they won't respond.

I am so grateful for my experiences with CFG Home Loans!! Working with Alan and his team has proven, time and again, to be the right choice. As they have worked on my mortgages & refinances, they have been so specific in making sure everything was tailored to exactly what I needed, and how to do it best for me. I especially love that theyvworked so hard to get me the very best deals, with my unique situation. The sacrifices that they have made, to make it easier for me have been so appreciated. CFG loans were absolutely incredible to work with for our mortgage. You hear the horror stories of refinancing a house. I didn’t refinance earlier because of them. I’m glad that I took the leap and went with CFGHomeLoans through the referral of my sister. Jerad Brereton helped me with my loan throughout the whole process. He was knowledgeable, attentive, and so very helpful with any questions that I had. Believe me, I had many. He never left me hanging waiting for an email, or phone call. He made sure I understood the details of my loan and even called me to let me know my loan was funded and asked if I had any additional questions. He got me a killer rate when other loan processors didn’t feel it was profitable enough to refinance my house since the balance wasn’t as high as some others may be. Best refi experience I've ever had, would highly recommend to anyone and everyone!! They deserve 20 stars!! Dez, Bryson, and Keenan, did an excellent job on getting me the best options possible, and fast. I tried to refinance with another company, after hitting road block after road block, I called Dez, and she got back to me immediately. Throughout the whole process, someone from CFG home loans, would call me everyday, with an update on my status. Everytime I would answer the phone to one of them, the news about my loan always got better. This is because they were always working hard to get me the best possible loan, all the way up to the closing date. They are very great people to work with, and they won't let you down!

I highly recommend CFG! Alan is super knowledgeable, and his company's prices are better than anyone else's. (Even when I thought someone else had beaten Alan's prices, they actually had not, but they hadn't yet factored in something that Alan had already figured out.). Alan helped me with my original financing and then a refinance just a couple years later. Alan has helped me realize not just closing costs and monthly payments, but how much I would save over the long term by looking at other options. He was also honest and direct in helping me realize when it might be better to forgo a refinance and just pay toward my principal faster. He's helpful, quick, and direct. His team is also professional, friendly, and reliable. They usually communicate really quickly as well. My loan is on the smaller side, but CFG never made me feel overlooked. I have recommended them to family, friends, and colleagues because I want others to have as great an experience as I have had!

Over the past 18 months, 2 purchases and a refinance. Every transaction was above and beyond our service expectation. Alan and Jerad were exceptional with communication, fantastic with rate, and solved some otherwise unsolvable issues with the seller on transaction #3. Certainly appreciate the expertise and ease of doing business with CFG. And yes, while I may be a relative, I am also not the easiest client, so especially appreciate them making these home and investment property transactions as smooth as possible.

I have nothing but good things to say about Alan and team. They worked with us for 9 months and 3 appraisals to get our refi approved due to my DTI, other places didn't even bother to give us a call back or even answer their phone. If you want someone who has your back and will go above and beyond to get their clients taken care of then CFG is the place to go.
