America First Credit Union (inside Smith's) S 200 W, Bountiful

They have horrible customer service came in to take money off one of my debit cards and the gentleman said where is this card from very rudely and looking at me as if I was doing something fraudulent then asked for my ID gave it to him with my bank card why not ask for my ID before you profile me you guys need to learn that not everyone is doing fraud look up the person before you you try to look at them like they are doing something wrong went to a lot of other locations and they never ask me where I got my debit card from it shouldn't matter if my name matches both cards and I have a account. it happen December 3rd at 6pm

I haven't had to visit very much in person since COVID-19, but all of my interactions before that have been fine! I haven't had to do anything too complicated, and one time they were even nice enough to print my debit card for me after it had gone through 1 too many cycles in my laundry. Sometimes the tellers are a little awkward when it comes to interactions but I attribute that to being an awkward person myself. I wouldn't ever blame them for long lines, some members can have more complicated issues or personalities to deal with. Also kind of going off of a negative review that I read, one time I made it with only 5 minutes to spare before closing and they were acting like they had all the time in the world to help me out, I did not feel rushed at all.

Refinancing my car was the easiest process I’ve ever had. Great custom service! Great positive attitude! Amy Black was helping me with this process of refinancing my vehicle! I was able to complete this process in remarkable time, and get my fiancé on my account. I love this location and I know I’ll always refer people to this location.

Service is Amazing! Mickelle stayed with us well after closing and was so nice to deal with. I didn’t think there were businesses around any more that took care of customers like this but I was wrong. Even though this is a small branch located in a grocery store, we found someone who delivered exception service so thank you again!

The manager was very nice and did a great job.

I tried to use their ATM but the thing shut off after eating my card. When it came online it said it was out of order. One of the people came over to help but said the manager had the key and couldn't do anything because he was on the phone. I had an appointment and was in a rush. Given the situation, I wonder if someone could have explained to him that phones have hold buttons. I left and came back 20 minutes later but the guy was still on the phone. They opened it and refused to return my card unless I showed them ID. I will never use this bank and if I can do even the slightest thing to drive business away from them, I will.

Walked in to make a check deposit. As I enter my debit card and enter my pin, I was asked to remove my eye glasses & mask. I then asked, ‘Is my ID on file?’ She said “No, we just ask all customers to remove their mask for security purposes”. I said Ok’, then observed the customers next to me & they were never asked to remove their mask. Just sayin, if I was a bank robber, I would’ve chosen a branch that’s not in a grocery store busy on a Saturday afternoon. 🙄 The funny thing was I wasn’t one bit surprised, this is Utah. It was a DEPOSIT! Good grief...To employee ID 11627 103-8 discrimination is not a good look.

I just started a business account along with getting a car loan through America First and they have been so helpful every step of the way.

Terrible service at this branch. I waited in line for over 10 minutes just to be told I couldn’t withdrawal a small amount of cash they couldn’t even facilitate half of what I needed. I don’t know why I do business with this credit union because members truly do not come first here at America First, it’s time to find a better bank.

I took out a motorcycle loan out of this branch the lady that help myself and the seller of the bike missed typed the vin and took the bill of sale. Had to go to another branch to get it fixed and 2 1/2 months later still can't get the title or even register it. I'm paying on a motorcycle i can't even enjoy. Stay away from this they clearly are not professional enough to help you.
