    A very pleasant experience. They called me back promptly and also text messages and emailed me after I contacted them via the web. The salesperson called me as soon as they opened and I scheduled an appointment to test drive a Ford Maverick. All communications before and after my appointment were excellent. Both Gina and Gage were professional and friendly.

    We've been on the hunt for an expedition and also a used car for my husband. Performance was one of the few places that responded quickly and stayed in communication with us. Other big name dealers never got back to us. Everyone we've worked with has been so helpful. Gage helped us find a car for my husband and we're all set up to order our new expedition. So thankful for all the helpful employees there and I would recommend them to everyone.

    They nailed it. Trying to buy a decently priced used vehicle in today's market is nothing short of a challenge. Salesman James McClure worked with me all day long, back and forth via text to answer all my questions. My wife and I decided to head toward the dealership after viewing a nice Explorer online, which worked out because they continue to be super busy moving these vehicles. When we arrived James was with other customers so his manager assisted us with no hesitation. If your looking at something online and they have what interests you, DON'T WAIT!! Get down there and take the time to work through the deal. Cars that are there one day are gone in moments. When our lease is up on the other Ford we have, it's likely James and Performance Ford will be our first call. Incredibly happy with the outcome of the experience. Absolutely zero buyers remorse.

    We were looking for a used car and they had a few that met our needs. Our salesman Jeff showed us several options that he thought would also fit our criteria. He did come in on his day off to make the sale which we appreciate. This is the reason I’m giving them a 3 out of 5 rating and not lower. However, the rest of the transaction was pretty disappointing. They wouldn’t replace the missing navigation SD card, suggesting I could buy one from the parts department or find one online. They washed the car and claimed to have done the best they could on cleaning the stains from the interior, however, I’ve spent 15 minutes cleaning the stains and so far I’ve been able to remove most of the dirt using basic cleaning supplies. When we picked the car up, there was less than two gallons of fuel in the tank. We’ve always received cars from the dealer with a full tank as a basic courtesy. Near the end of the deal, we were presented with the price breakdown, one of the items that had not been disclosed prior was a $499 charge for paint protection. Everyone knows that this is nothing more than a scheme to make a quick buck off an unsuspecting buyer and pretty low class in my opinion. The charge was removed, but it should have been disclosed prior, like the extended warranty. The car needed to be jump started when we looked at it but I was assured the battery was fine and only dead because it had been sitting for a while. This morning, the day after we picked up the car, the battery was dead. When I pulled it out, I noticed the battery is 6 years old. As usual, this dealership is no better than any other, continuing to set the bar as low as possible in order to make a sale.

    I am very disappointed. I bought my 2015 Ford f150 platinum barely over 2 weeks ago and the second I drove it off the lot, it started making noises when I would turn at any time even in reverse. Plus one of the key fobs doesn't work at all, the other one was getting worse even when the battery was changed. Now my truck is sitting in the shop finding out my key fobs have to be replaced. The turning issue come to find out is a bad steering shaft which could have broke at any time while driving which all steering would be gone and cause an accident. Then also come to find out that the break master cylinder has a safety recall that was issued August 2020. I've called a few times now only to get told we don't know what we can do and also offered to trade it in for a new truck which would raise my payments through the roof. Now I'm stuck paying $1300 to get this all fixed before it causes a horrible accident. I was told before I drove it off the lot that the truck was checked on everything and that it was good to go. This put my family and myself in danger just to get a sale. This is complete dishonesty and very disappointing.

    Unfortunately, my experience with this dealership and service center is somewhat of a mixed bag. Late July of 2021 I was interested in purchasing a car. A family member had seen the car in an advertisement and we set up an appointment to test drive it. Initially all went pretty smoothly. The test drive went well. The car was low on gas (less than 1/4 tank) and I informed the sales rep upon finishing the test drive (this will be important later). I decided to purchase the car as it appeared to be in great condition. The sales rep informed me that the car was undergoing cursory maintenance and vehicle checks prior to sale and wouldn't be available to pick up for several days to a week. The sales process itself felt rushed. It was all the more chaotic due to the fact that the financial rep kept constantly mixing up my family member's information with my own (I myself was purchasing the car) and had to keep redoing the paperwork and eventually settled on just crossing out lines and handwriting things in each section. The back and forth made it difficult to keep track of what was being talked about and it would have been nice if all the extra fees would have been explained a lot more thoroughly to avoid the sticker shock of how much had to be financed even after the large down payment. Later upon taking possession of the car, it was mentioned that there was still pending maintenance for a minor sensor; however, attempting to get in contact with the sales rep later (he was on vacation at time of pickup) as to what service was needed led to no further response. In addition, the car was given to my possession completely out of gas (as mentioned earlier it was low during the test drive). I was scarcely out of the parking lot when the engine sputtered and stalled; completely out of gas. I was able to message the sales rep and he did respond saying that shouldn't have happened and that he'd inform the service center. Several months later and I discovered that there were service notifications in the car for maintenance. Thinking this was routine scheduled maintenance, I scheduled service with their Bountiful location and took it in. I was informed that my car couldn't be serviced due to being a MINI, despite being allowed to make the appointment, and was told all they could do for me is an oil change. The oil change itself took nearly 3 hours! I immediately rescheduled service with MINI in Murray and after a vehicle check with them the car had several severe issues in addition to having no maintenance record, which should have been caught if the initial vehicle check prior to sale would have actually been done. With the Bountiful Performance Ford service center insisting to me that they didn't service MINIs it makes me wonder if the dealership actually did any maintenance or even checked the vehicle as was described when I bought the car. I'm a bit lucky since I did opt for an extended warranty which will cover nearly half of the expected cost of the current maintenance, which totals nearly $4000; however, it still feels like I was taken advantage of by not disclosing that the car had no maintenance done and that their service department doesn't even service that type of vehicle. Your experience may vary, but all in all I wouldn't recommend purchasing a car from Performance Ford, nor would I recommend their service center.

    Worked with Don Mendoza on a used vehicle. He was open and honest and willing to help, even thought it was a Saturday and they were short handed. Showed us the vehicle that we wanted to see and asked about a couple others and he told us the issues with the them and was honest with us. He didn't try to do the used car salesman mentality with us what was very nice.

    I purchased Lincoln Concierge service with my Aviator. I called on 10 separate occasions to try to talk to someone. Never once did they answer they phone. I called normal service and got transferred three times and then no answer. I left messages and got not one call back. I finally scheduled regular service because a the oil needed to be changed and there were a couple recall fixes. I had an appointment for 10:00 am, brought it in, and told them I would wait. They said it’d be about 45 minutes. An hour and a half later I walked from the sales floor where I’d been working to check on the car. It was sitting in the corner and they said they hadn’t even started it yet. It looked like it had simply been forgotten about. I waited another hour and they said it was done, but they couldn’t do the recall items that day. I told them that would be fine and that I would like them to schedule a return visit when they could use the Lincoln concierge service and home pick my car up and drop off a loaner vehicle (part of the service I paid for). They said the next appointment for that would be a month away. I said even that would be fine. They said they would send me a text appointment. I was surprised when the next day I received a text appointment that someone would be out to pick up my car the following day at 9:00 am. I assumed an opening had become available. I stayed home from work, waiting for someone to come. I clicked the URL in the text and verified the date and time, but it said no driver had been assigned yet. At about 9:45 I got a call from the customer service department asking how my experience was. I told them I was waiting for them to show up. They told me they had no record of my appointment. I was beginning to get frustrated, which doesn’t happen easily. The gentleman apologized and said he would get this figured out, and get me a concierge appointment set up and that I would receive a text confirmation about the new appointment. That was about 7 days ago. After posting my feedback, I received a call from the customer experience manager who took careful notes, demonstrated compassion and competence, and believably assured me that these things were going to be worked on. She also made sure I had my appointment set up. :-) Revising my review accordingly.

    I had the pleasure of dealing with Chris and Ghassan for the purchase of my vehicle, and I would highly recommend utilizing this team as well as Performance Ford Bountiful in general. Everyone here was very friendly and patient, and they lack what every other dealership I've been to has an abundance of- pushy salesman. No part of this sale felt pushy or pressured, they did not overstep bounds and were perfectly respectful and patient in listening to and addressing concerns. Chris was thorough with the report of the vehicle to make sure I was aware of every detail of its' history, Ghassan was very thorough with financing options, recommendations, warranty options, and I am very satisfied with this purchase. These two gentlemen were hilarious, too easy to talk to, and very personable. I was tired of being pushed and pressured by sketchy salesman trying to hide or disguise issues with vehicles, and I did not experience any of this at all here. Great guys, great dealership; highly recommend!

    If I could give 0 stars I would. After signing a contract and being all set to trade in our two vehicles for a new 2021 Expedition they attempted to tell us the contract was cancelled. This is after my husband drove 10 hours while towing a trailer and having a return drive ahead of him. They tried to force him to pay thousands more than the agreed to price and threatened that he would just have to drive home with our two cars if he didn't agree. After speaking to a manager they finally agreed to honor the purchase price, but are now withholding our cash-out that is owed to us. We also found out that the original purchase contract and financing agreement is still in place with Ford Motor Credit, so we have two loans against one vehicle. We are now trying to deal with Ford Motor Credit to get support. I would absolutely not recommend that anyone do business with this dealership. Walk away!

    I have had an intensely satisfying experience after my last traumatizing experience. I decided after meeting Roxee that I would sell them my truck. She is efficient, kind, and takes charge. Ghasson the finance manager walked me through my first vehicle purchase. Got me an amazing interest rate. What’s hard is I don’t work a normal job. Showing proof of income was not an option. I still got funded and bought my dream car. Natalie and Tony in the service department took care of all of my concerns with my truck. And went above and beyond anything I could have asked for. I really appreciate the extra efforts they put in for me. And feel like if I walk in again, I’d be greeted with kindness and professionalism.

    I had brought a previous car down here for service about a year ago, and then switched to the now Young Ford dealership in Ogden. I WISH I HAD NEVER SWITCHED. Ford Bountiful is so much better!! The people are so much nicer and more helpful. I don’t feel like I’m getting ripped off every time I go, unlike the other dealers.

    Unfortunately my introduction to this dealership was not the greatest. With todays market it is tough to find a vehicle you want. I made an appointment to check out an Explorer. I take off early from work show up for my appointment and they cannot find the Explorer. First they said the manager took it and they cannot contact him. Later the salesman and myself are walking the parking lot to locate the Explorer, with no luck. Next they tell me they probably took it to the other dealership. Then several minutes later they comeback and tell me that the vehicle was loaned out to a service customer.

    I took my 2017 Escape to Performance because the dealership was convenient to my place of employment. My first impression of the dealership was not good. Found the service department to be cluttered and dirty. After agreeing to pay for some diagnostic work , I left for work. A couple of hours later I was contacted by the service writer with some bad news about the engine cooling system. I was informed that the system was leaking anti freeze into the motor and it was getting burned off through the exhaust system. This sounded really fishy to me cause my motor has never overheated, nor have I ever added any anti freeze to the system since buying the vehicle new in 2017. After work I went to see the vehicle and talk to the service tech and writer about what was needed. The service tech showed me video of the top of the pistons on the motor by removing the spark plugs. He claimed I was losing coolant through the motor head. This made no sense to me because I have never added any coolant to the vehicle. On a closed cooling system, if you were losing coolant the overflow bottle would eventually empty out and the vehicle would begin to overheat. I am on the road a lot for my work. I am approaching 100,000 miles on the vehicle. I asked a lot of questions about the cooling system and the answers did not make any sense. I was told that I needed to put a new motor in the vehicle to the tune of $3,500. I felt really uneasy about everything and Instructed the tech to change the spark plugs to improve engine performance and put the vehicle back together. I would then drive it home and decide what to do. Do the repairs or trade it in. I paid the bill and drove home. When arrived home I checked the anti freeze level in the overflow bottle. Marked the level on the overflow bottle with the vehicle hot. Checked the coolant level the next morning and it had only dropped 1/8”. I then decided to drive the vehicle to Rock Springs Wyoming and back to Salt Lake City. Round trip about 450 miles. Checked the anti freeze level after arriving home. With the vehicle hot the anti freeze level was right on the same mark that I put on the bottle the night before. There was no change in coolant level in the over flow bottle. There is nothing wrong with engine cooling system in my Escape. This dealership does not deserve any stars. They are unprofessional and dishonest. Besides that, the dealership was dirty and cluttered. Very unprofessional appearance. I cannot believe Ford puts up with the appearance of this dealership. I really think they had found a real Sucker. Thankfully, I know a few things about cars. How many unsuspecting customers have they taken advantage of? They will never see this customer again.

    Horrible experience buy our truck. We love the truck and it has been great for us, but they took advantage of us while purchasing the vehicle. This was our first time purchasing a vehicle and we were very excited since we have been save for years. They added on so many extra fees that we did not want but they added anyway. They are just there to make a sale and don't care about the customers. When I called to get the unnecessary services canceled, Max Ongkiko stated he would help us out and get everything figured out. It has been six weeks and when I called back to see what is going on, I found out he didn't do anything. Very disappointed in the service and the treatment we received from start to finish.

    I work at a school in Nebraska. I was needing to buy a passenger van with some grant dollars, so I google searched for what I was looking to buy. I found four different places across the country that had one. I called all four, Don Mendoza at Performance Ford was the only one that took me serious. Personally, I buy all my vehicles unseen online and have an expectation of service because of that. Don met those expectations. So I bought this van and did everything online with DocuSign. So on a Saturday morning I flew to Salt Lake and picked the van up, it was as promised in great shape as a pre-owned vehicle. I was at the dealership 10 minutes and off I went. So I have nothing but good words to say about Don and Performance. Even though Performance Ford is 600 miles away I will consider buying my next personal vehicle this same way and I will use Don Mendoza.

    Update: When we brought our F-150 in, we mentioned that it might be the spark plugs causing the issue. They said the fuel injectors needed to be replaced for $2,000. At this point, we were so tired of their poor communication, we brought it to Tunex. It was a spark plug issue for $800. It’s running great now and fixed in one day! Our F-150 has been in the service department for 4 days. They said it likely just needed a system update. They don’t answer their phones, so we’ve driven down twice to get updates. Well, there’s nothing to update. They are still in the process of doing the system update, or they haven’t started yet is my guess. They have been very vague and not helpful at all.

    I made an appointment to see a Ford Ranger I saw on cargurus. The salesman, made the appointment with me, the appointment was confirmed by the dealership the morning of my appointment but when I showed up was told the salesperson had the day off. The appointment was picked up by Dean who did a great job picking up my appointment. However, the specific car I wanted to see was not on the lot, but Dean found it on another Performance lot. Why they were not ready and have the car on the lot and the mixup on the appointment was frustrating. Dean gets 5 stars but the dealership only 3. Followup, after purchase, I did make an appointment to get the tires balanced and the alignment checked (why this was not done prior to offering the truck for sale is frustrating). I made another appointment with service for 1pm, to stay for the repairs to be made. I was told by service when I arrived that it would be delayed as they were so busy and have over 50 appointments and several walkins. Again, frustrated that this dealership cannot make valid appointments. It took over 3 hours waiting to get tires balanced and an alignment, but the dealership did pick up the cost of these adjustments. If the dealership would do these things before selling the car, the customer experience would be much more favorable. 3 stars to the service department.

    I’m happy with the vehicle but the negotiations felt rushed and pushy. I expressed several times that I didn’t want to pay for paint protection on this 8 year old used vehicle and you guys would not take no for an answer and insisted that it comes with all of your vehicles. Even though I argued that this isn’t a new vehicle, you guys refused to take it off. I’m not happy that I came home to read over all of the paperwork that my tired husband signed and it says that purchasing this protection is not necessary to purchase or finance this vehicle. When the customer says they want to opt out of purchasing something that is an option, then let them take it off.

    After my experience with this dealership, I can't trust that they'll make good on their promises and, for that reason, I won't be back and I'd recommend looking for your vehicle elsewhere. I was promised follow up on several issues over the course of our transaction (which began on December 9, 2021 and is still not complete as of the date of this review) and the only follow up I received was my own. When they initially informed me that my car would be delivered in five days, it was I who had to reach out to them to find out why it wasn't there that day. When it didn't arrive at the next promised delivery date, again it was I who had to reach out to find out what was going on. The same thing happened a third and fourth time before I finally received the vehicle that I had purchased twenty days prior (I am still baffled as to why they would prefer frustrated customers who wonder where their car is over frustrated customers who've been kept informed). When I called and spoke to a manager and expressed my frustrations, I was promised prompt action and a new point man in the transaction (himself) and was not surprised when I never heard from him again. When the dealer learned that they couldn't register my car because they had neglected to perform an emissions test on it before it left the lot (supposedly one of the reasons it took twenty days to deliver the car to me), one might think it a no brainer to inform the customer of this fact. They didn't, though. I placed a phone call to them after my temporary license tags expired and I still hadn't received my state-issued plates only to be notified then of the emissions problem (and their realization that they had held off for no reason because I live in St George). When the equity check was supposed to be sent out over and over again but was delayed due to missing information and documents, it wasn't the dealer who reached out to collect what was needed. I had to call in to learn that the issue even existed. Short story--I'd recommend looking for a dealership where communication and follow through are bigger priorities. There are some good folks here, though! The finance guy who I worked with was fantastic (thanks finance guy and I'm sorry that I've forgotten your name). And MAJOR kudos and thanks to Kristina at the front desk who has done more to resolve these issues for me than every other employee whose responsibility it likely was to address and resolve the issues. I appreciate the product, y'all, but the process soured the experience. **UPDATE** It is now almost March and I still have not received the title or my plates. The dealership responded to my review here. Of course, it was a request for ME to contact THEM. I did so and was told by the Customer Service Manager that I would see prompt results. That was almost two weeks ago and I've not heard a word back. **UPDATE #2** A couple of days after I posted my first update, I received a telephone call from Kristina (good strategic call on your point person, PF!), who let me know that she would mail my plates out right away. I finally received them almost three months after I purchased the vehicle. Many thanks to any of the employees at PF (undoubtedly many of the unseen) who put a sincere effort into resolving this issue. It may have taken some time and pain to get where we intended to go but I'm grateful for the efforts of those who genuinely sought to correct the errors of others (unfortunately, many of the others being leadership).

    We live in Idaho and found a vehicle we wanted to purchase in Utah at this Dealership. My husband contacted them and was in contact with Joe Jones throughout the whole week, we started the paperwork, sent them money to hold it and made an appointment to test drive and purchase. When we showed up, Joe was not there even though we made an appointment and we were given 2 different stories. Throughout our time there, he never did show up and we never heard from him to apologize or anything. Another sales guy by the name of Don Mendoza stepped in, but didn't know anything of what was going on and couldn't get ahold of Joe. After quite a while of telling him the same thing, We finally got him to understand where we were. We finally got a chance to talk to financial guy we had been in contact with Gahson Doud and things started to get rolling. Now weeks later I went I to the DMV to register my vehicle, they didn't send the information to our DMV and the documents we needed were not included in the paperwork we were given, we had to contact our lender to get the documents. We love our vehicle, but this Dealership has not been easy to work with.

    I'm updating my review a year and a half later because my opinion of this dealership has changed quite a bit over this time. I don't regret purchasing my truck or working with my salesman, but I'm very disappointed with the challenges in trying to communicate with this dealership. My biggest regret is having purchased an expensive extended warranty that includes maintenance service. I paid a lot for the promise of that warranty and service. Now I cannot even connect with ANYONE in the service department. Try calling them, almost any day and any time, and see for yourself. You'll push #1 to be transferred to the service department and the phone will then ring and ring (up to 12 minutes recently before I hung up). When you call back and push the other option and maybe even connect with a live receptionist, you'll get transferred to the wrong department or sent again to the service department that never picks up. I even told the receptionist they never pick up and I needed help connecting with someone -I was transferred again to a phone that was never picked up. I am even considering getting service somewhere else, even though I'll lose out on my service agreement and warranty and have to pay for it again, just to not have to experience these frustrations. If you happen to buy a car from this dealership, I discourage you from purchasing their extra warranty and service packages, as good as the sales pitch may be. Keep your options open so you may take your car to any Ford dealership or repair shop that actually values your business and answers their phones. Here's my original review, which is very different than my current review: I generally hate the whole car buying experience. I have been to many dealerships and talked with many salespeople before meeting Don Mendoza and finding the perfect vehicle at a price that worked for me. I’m so glad I got to work with Don Mendoza. He worked hard for me and got me into my dream truck and got my mother into her dream car (we bought both at the same time). He spent the time this nervous customer needed and resolved all my concerns, even when I returned after the purchase, which is amazing because others might care less about you when the purchase was over with. In the end, I felt so good about Don that I feel I could be good friends with him and enjoy hanging out together. I also appreciate Joe, one of the managers (sorry I forgot his last name). Even though some of my concerns may seem minor to some, they were big to me. Joe took care of me to the point that I’m very satisfied and feel good about this huge purchase. I’ll likely need another car for my wife in about a year. I’m coming to see Don at Bountiful Performance Ford before I go anywhere else. Thanks guys for making this experience a positive one.

    I would recommend Andrew Colon to anyone who buys a car at a dealership. Being deaf has it's challenges in being able to communicate. Andrew was awesome. He didn't allow the communication barrier stop. He communicated through texting me and emailing. He also went beyond that for me. I am a new paraplegic as well. I was not able to gonto the dealership and fin my car. I relied on the internet to find my car and Andrew was willing to drive the car to my home so I could see if I would beable to get in the car from my wheelchair. He allowed my brother to test drive the car since I have to get it modified before I can drive. He was very patient with me and through the whole time communicated with me. Being a deaf person that is huge. Most people talk around me as if I am not there. Thank you Andrew for showing me that there are hearing people that can see beyond a language barrier. I am looking forward to getting a little more independence back in my life.

    Dean was great! He sold me Kia Sportage 2013. He was very helpful and cared that I went home with a car I wanted, I would defiantly go back and work with him again. With that being said if I could give a separate review to the financial person it would be a completely different review. He messed up on my paperwork from the very beginning on what I agreed to put down, timeframe of loan, and estimated monthly payments. He got upset when I questioned him, and I could feel the third degree over how long it took to finally get me to agree to sign the paperwork and leave. It was very upsetting to be treated this way after having such an enjoyable experience with Dean beforehand but I feel like this is important with share.

He is smart and able to talk about what makes sense for your needs. He was patient with us and even though we were particular he was great.     My experience with Performance Ford Bountiful. In early 2016 the sunroof on my F150 had an issue and needed to be replaced. It was replaced under warranty but the shade part would no longer close completely. Which resulted in another trip to the service department. They replaced the seal and said it was good to go. Upon picking the truck up for the 2nd time the shade still did not close. A third visit was scheduled, they removed my entire roof liner and adjusted the sunroof track. I picked it up, and you guessed it, still not fixed. I explained my frustration to Gwen and she immediately began to blame me. The SA that was helping me through all this interrupted her and explained this was an issue caused by their service team and not me. Gwen apologized and said they would have a regional rep from Ford come and take a look. The truck was brought in for the 4th time. I met with the regional engineer, we looked at other trucks on the lot and I showed him how the sunshade should close. He assured me they would get it fixed this time… I was excited to finally get it done, however when I picked it up. It still wasn’t right. I called the SA over and he just shook his head and sincerely apologized. My headliner now sags, the cabin light fixture is permanently loose and light still leaks through the sunroof shade. Even though mistakes were made I felt like the service advisor I was working with at the time really was trying to help me. I felt like he truly cared, and that meant a lot. I was willing to look past the horrendous quality of the repair and move on. In early 2017 I bought the truck in for an oil change. I picked up the truck on my way home from work and headed home. When I got home I noticed when I would lock the truck the horn would beep twice. After some inspection, I discovered the hood wasn’t closed all the way. I opened the hood and then closed it. To my surprise, my hood was bent and not making contact with the relay. I contacted the same service advisor and he reviewed the camera footage. Sure enough, the tech doing the oil change left an item on top of the engine bay when he closed the hood causing the hood to be bent. They scheduled a time for me to drop the truck off and had a body shop repair the damage. The bend in the hood is fixed but the bumper stop on the front is still broken. Saturday, May 5th, 2018 I decided to stop by and get my oil changed. Perhaps things had improved in the service department. I didn’t have an appointment so I knew there could be a wait. The service advisors I have worked with in the past are no longer there. The service manager still is… I explained that I would like an oil change and the Sync Update I have a TSB on. I asked if they could rotate the tires, I purchased them from the dealership and was told they included lifetime rotation. I was told that could all be done. Almost 3 hours elapsed and I was told my truck was ready but the Sync TSB was not able to update. No problem, I said. I then went out to my truck. While reviewing the paperwork the SA came running out to me and said. The service tech that was supposed to rotate my tires didn’t do that, so please come back another time. After almost 3 hours, Sync wasn’t updated, tires weren’t rotated and now I’m not even sure my oil was changed. There was no sticker on my windshield indicating the oil had been changed and the truck still showed oil life at 20%. I looked at my oil and it looks clean, but if it was changed or not, who knows. The bottom line is, the service department should be where you keep customers coming back. In this case, it has driven me away. I hope they get things figured out because I want to like this place. It’s convenient to where I live. I try to give people chances to make things right and improve. In this case, it’s one disappointment after another. It would be nice to work with people you can trust and who do the job right the first time. The dealership did contact me and offer me a free oil change which was nice. The problem is I have no confidence it would be done correctly.

    Worst service department I have ever worked with. We had some MANDATORY recalls that had to be fixed on our Lincoln. It was going to take the whole day to fix. The letter in the mail said that a FREE rental car would be provided. When I called to schedule the service it was like pulling teeth to get them to provide the rental car. When my wife got there to drop off her SUV they gave her two options a ford focus or a 2 door F150. I have two toddlers in car seats. This was not going to work. They told me I had no other choices. I pleaded that they get us a loaner off the lot for the few hours but they said that was impossible and they would have to put us through the sales process and check our credit in order to give us a test drive vehicle. So we went with the work truck and it was just a joke. Our car seats were hanging off the seats and didn't fit at all. I would assume if you bring in a SUV to get fixed they would at least try and get you into a SUV loaner. This was not the case. They had no solution. This is not the first issue I have had with Performance Ford. The only fix they have ever given was a free oil change. Enough is enough. Free oil changes can only go so far. They have lost a customer and I will NEVER recommend anyone to work with Performance Ford Bountiful.

    Bad Service!! Between the 2 of us my husband and I spent over $80 G on vehicles this year at Performance Ford Lincoln Bountiful. Our NEW Edge has engine problems and has been in their shop for days now. We purchased the vehicle to ensure reliability and need it for our daily functions (like getting to work...). When we asked for a loaner we were told there weren't any available. When we asked about a rental we were told "you probably can't find one of those either". I ask you, is it our job to find and pay for a rental when your expensive NEW vehicle gives us engine problems before we're even close to 10,000 miles? I understand that things happen to vehicles, but for the patronage we provided and the money we spent on new vehicles we should expect more assistance than this. I have buyer's remorse and hope that nothing like this happens to my NEW vehicle. You could have made a great costumer out of a bad situation Performance, but you opted to take the easy road and ignore your customer's needs. If we were in the process of purchasing the car, and you didn't already have our money, you would have bent over backward. That is NOT good customer service!

    I had been looking for a truck for a while. Chris was very interested in my wants. The first truck I saw and drove was the one I bought. I got a great price on my trade in as well as a great price on the truck. I have been back on a couple of occasions and they have gone above and beyond to make sure I’m happy.     I had been looking for a specific vehicle for quite a while so I knew what I wanted. I found a listing online and reached out to the sales team. They got back with me right away and answered my initial questions quickly and professionally. I wanted to come by and look at the vehicle but my schedule was challenging. The original salesperson that helped me made arrangements to have another sales team member meet me early on a Saturday before the normal opening to accommodate my schedule.     Andrew and jack were very nice. Time will tell if the vehicle is. However, when your flat tire light stays on when they promise me it will go off, yet you get a flat and a blown out tire, it can be frustrating, also when they say I need to pay for a tire sensor, but they will install it for free, I really feel like they are a sketchy dealership. I’ll never purchase from performance agAin. Also, avoid the service center if you can. Oil changes then a loose drain plug causing a leak isn’t fun either.

    Performance Ford of Bountiful do an absolutely stellar job. From start to finish purchasing my F150 couldn’t have been any easier and pain free. Bill Barnes and his team are absolute professionals. What especially stood out to me about Performance Ford versus other dealers was how diligent they were about making sure you have all the things you need and then some after you’ve driven off the lot with your car. Going above and beyond to make sure you have all the things you need to get your car registered (even in a different state) and working through all the different warranty options for any budget. I don’t picture myself buying a car through anyone else in the future. They made it too easy.

    I am very disappointed in the service that I didn't receive. I made an appointment over a week in advance for some calibration. This was not an urgent appointment and I had no problem waiting longer, but the service advisor stated it would only take an hour or 2 and that they had appointments for the Friday the following week. When I dropped the car off I was informed they were busy that day, but they should be able to get to my vehicle. This was the first red flag. I had an appointment, this wasn't a work in or a walk in. I tried to follow-up about 5 hours later and was unable to get in touch with the advisor. 2 more hours go by and I get a call saying that the tech couldn't figure out the calibration. I could leave it until Monday or bring it back at a later date. Not being able to be without a vehicle for 4 days I went to pick it up. At pickup, the story didn't make sense to me, but I gave them the benefit of the doubt. I was promised a call back on Monday to get scheduled again. Because of the story seeming off I reviewed my dash cam footage. I wasn't surprised when I determined the vehicle was never even brought inside, it was parked at drop off and not moved again until I picked it up. It is also now late Wednesday at the time of this review and I have yet to be called to schedule my service. I understand that sometimes techs call out sick or other things happen, in this case just be honest with people. What I don't appreciate is flagrantly being lied to, and then not having follow-up actions taken. I expected better from the dealership that I bought the vehicle from not a year earlier. I went with performance over the 2 closer dealerships assuming I'd get better service since it was where I purchased, boy was I wrong.     We bought a 2017 f150 and had a good experience here. Joe helped us out and helped us get a good deal. These guys know how to bargain and are tough to crack. We finally settled on a price after an hour of going back and forth. I think their used prices are better than other dealers around and if you are stubborn enough they just might be willing to negotiate a little.

    Joe was very respectful and professional from the get-go. He listened to what I was looking for in a trade and found a great option quickly.     So....here's my review of my car buying experience at Performance Ford. I stopped in on May 11 2022 and met Salesman Don Mendoza who promptly introduced himself and inquired of my auto purchase needs. I explained that it was time to trade in my car for a Ford Ranger and the process started and it was painless, Don was patient, took the time to show me the truck I was interested in, answered all my questions and we started the process of buying, this was a used truck in excellent condition and I liked it. We talked more and he directed my attention to another Ranger that ultimately was a better fit for me than the first one would have been, and I ended up purchasing the new truck, and so far so good and I'm glad he took the time to show the new one to me. Financial negotiations went well and again Don was forthcoming every step of the way so there was no stress and all my questions were answered. Later I finished up in the office of Scott Jensen who secured several options for financing the new truck and again he was pleasent, friendly and funny as well as very thorough doing the paper work and I drove off the lot in my new ride. My experience was pleasant, no pressure, no games and I didn't feel rushed even as the day got busier for them. I would recommend giving Performance Ford a chance for your business. Go see Don. I bought the Velocity Blue four door Ranger. I also the next day had contact with Jake, a service advisor and I was impressed with his cheerful help he offered as well.

    Update: Was originally a 1 star review. After posting this the customer service manager reached out to my husband and I and fixed every thing for us. Got us a rental car and gave us an actual realistic date of when the car would be ready. Natalie is awesome! Not happy!! Have had the worst service ever! Went and looked at a car and loved it. Ended up buying it. Drove it home and realized there was no rear wiper, the front wiper fluid wasn’t hooked up (it was being held together by scotch tape), the audio wasn’t working and the navigation and time wasn’t working. I understand that it’s a used car and things like that can happen. Which is why we got a warranty. When we brought it up to the sales person (Andy) he told us to bring it back in and they would fix those things. It has now been 5 days now and we have had no updates and no idea when it will be fixed. We have called multiple times have sent multiple messages and we have very little communication about the car. They were also very stingey with the price for it having so many issues. If these things are fixed and we can get the car I will change my rating.

    I met "Texas" Mike, who is easy to talk with about trading a newer F150 for my '18 F150. We reviewed several configurations and test drove a couple for me to go home and sleep on.     Sean Russell is the salesman you want to work with. He is hands down the best salesman I have worked with. Me and my wife have been car shopping for a few months trying to find the right car.     I would leave a zero star if that was available. We recently bought a 2022 Lincoln aviator and with in 3 months there were issues and a recall. They have had our vehicle for a month and it still isn’t fixed. We have left messages after messages and can’t get anyone to call us back. The service department is a joke and customer service SUCKS!!! I will NEVER buy a vehicle from here again… I can’t believe a brand new vehicle is in the shop and nothing is being done. We have had to threaten a lawsuit and the lemon law to even get anyone to take us seriously.. I am EXTREMELY disappointed and FRUSTRATED… They are happy to take your money, but when there’s an issue no one will help you..

    Chris was great. Stayed in touch with me I live in Sheridan, Wy. I flew down to the dealership to what I thought was to test drive the vehicle and sign paperwork. I was pre approved through Capital One Financing. The interest rate was a little high for my liking. So Chris had found another bank the had a lower rate. I was much happier. Chris even picked me up at the airport was on time and I drove back to the dealership. The condition of the car was just alright. To start with I understand it was a used car, so there would be issues. However there were safety issues; the power steering reservoir was disconnected from the mount and low on power steering fluid. The tpms light was on and two tires were 15 pounds low. The tire tread was at 3/32 of an inch and had irregular tire wear. The car fax report said it was over due for a state Inspection; I am and inspector and this vehicle would have failed the safety part of the state inspection for power steering fluid issues listed above. Also the interior was not cleaned, French fry’s in The seat back pocket. The the key was damaged. Also the air bag safety real is still open I had asked for it to get taken care of prior to my arrival. So we haggled the pricing. Yes I have been in the car repair business yes they moved on the price $600.00. So once we agreed on a price they ran credit again. I was already approved. I also mentioned on the email that was auto sent for $500.00 off as an incentive I’ve to buy. Prior to arrival. It was not on the financing document. So we had to provide the email and reprinted the financing documents. Also the dealership added gap insurance after we had agreed on a price. Well I provide the pricing agreement to the financing manager to get the price which I was originally quoted. Over all the sales person was average, but the communication between him and the financing manager was not what I suspected. As a manager of several automotive shops across the country I would have expected the used car manager to have better quality control of the product which they sell. I would like a call from the used car manager who harassed Chris about holding this car for me for a few weeks.

    I called in asking for information about the warranty I bought with my new ford. I asked for Natalie or anyone I could speak to about the name of the warranty company. The lady who answered the phone (who never mentioned their name) had attitude and a tone in her voice that I really didn’t appreciate or care for. She said “Natalie isn’t here, you need to wait till Monday.” I then asked if there was a finance manager I could speak to about it, and she simply said “no.” I asked if they had finance managers working on Saturdays, and she said “well, yeah but they’re all busy. You need to wait till Monday.” I asked if there was anyone I could speak to about who the warranty company might be, and she told me to hold on and transferred me to A FINANCE MANAGER. I was sent to the finance managers voicemail three times. I called back again, but this time the receptionist answered and immediately slammed the phone down and hung up. I called back one more time, and she answered saying very snooty “PERFORMANCE FORD.” I again explained that I was still needing to talk to someone about who the warranty company is. She said “No, there isn’t anyone available. Your best bet is to wait till Monday.” Then she slammed the phone down to hang up. I am EXTREMELY upset about the quality of service that I received. I was nothing short of reasonable and respectful in asking a very simple question about my warranty. After spending $30K+ on a brand new car, I expect nothing less than absolute quality service and respect.

    We found a car that we liked at Performance Ford Lincoln and talked to James in their Sales department, he told us that we needed to put down a deposit so someone else doesn't buy it, he emailed us the car fax which showed 1 pervious owner, all service records done, everything looked great about the car so we drove there for almost 5 hours one way. We told him we would drive there over 4 hours one way and once again he told us the vehicle was in great condition. When we arrived at the dealership the car was scratched up from EVERY side, there was something leaking under the hood, and there was deep scratches on every side of the car, none of the pictures they showed us of the car showed any scratches, and we talked to James on the phone several times and not once did he mention that the car looked that horrible. When we got there and were frustrated that he lied to us, he was really rude and started yelling that the deposit was non refundable, after talking with the manager, we did get our deposit back, but would never recommend this dealer to anyone. When we arrived at the dealership James also told us that they just bought this car from an auction, which he never mentioned before and the carfax did not show that either. We wasted our whole day to drive there and back. Their sales associate James is really rude and dishonest. Definitely needs some customer service skills and be trained how to talk to people after they're upset.

    Performance Lincoln Bountiful went above and beyond on this one. My salesman Caleb is a rockstar and helped me place a custom order in February 2022 for a 2022 Lincoln Navigator L. Delivery was set for sometime in October 2022. But, Christmas came early this year and I was able to take delivery earlier in July 2022. The staff helped make this process seem less and easy.     I purchased two 85K vehicles (22’ F350 & 22’ Navigator) from this dealership within a four week time frame and experienced a complete lack of professionalism and a willful disregard for customer service on EACH transaction. Both vehicles were special ordered 6-7 months in advance with a non-refundable deposit paid at the time of order. Terms and conditions were also agreed upon and purchase orders endorsed. When the vehicles arrived at the dealership I literally had to re-negotiate each transaction and prove through documentation what had been agreed upon by the dealership. I even had to prove I paid a $1,000 non-refundable deposit. (Good thing I had the receipt) At length that was resolved or at least the dealership no longer fought what I had in writing and I stated I did NOT want the dealer offered “paint protection plan”. I was sent to the finance office where another argument ensued. “Sales Manager” (Chris) was sent in where another argument ensued regarding the “paint protection plan”. I told the “sales manager” I did not want nor would I pay for the “paint protection plan” and advised him litigation followed dealerships who forced extras or add-on’s to buyers. An argument then spilled out onto the dealership floor between him and the gentleman handing the financing in front of all the customers and staff. After completing the transaction I was advised the “paint protection plan” was never completed on the Navigator I had just purchased as it had just arrived on the lot. All that arguing for something I did not want nor would I have received if I was duped into paying the $500 for the paint plan. My point of contact/Salesman Dean Betz was great, from my observations he and the finance gentleman were the only two honest professionals in the building that I had contact with, (I’m confident there are others) Both of which deserve raises/promotions for having to walk buyers through such an awful process. I attempted to “support local” as I had previously purchased 4 FORD RAPTOR’s through PHIL LONG FORD of DENVER. Moving forward I will take my business back to Colorado.

    Bought a truck from this dealership, but I really can’t recommend it. Very little communication from the dealership was given throughout the whole 6 month+ process. After getting my truck I was called and told there was a recall (for a vehicle I had just picked up the day before) and to bring it in for service. Upon bringing the vehicle in to a Ford dealership I was told there was no recall. Another waste of several hours of my time. When I did try to call the front desk at Performance Ford they were very unhelpful and several times just forwarded my call to an empty voicemail box or dropped my call mid conversation. Now they continue to harass me via email and text asking for me to write a review. Well here is your review. What a pain!

    I’m a first time buyer and was coerced into signing a car there after I told them I wanted to look at another car. They said they wouldn’t pull my credit as I had already been pre approved for a loan. That was a lie. I drove the car for 25 minutes and it broke down on the freeway.     This is the worst service have ever received. I came into the shop to get an oil change, it was very frustrating as I was there waiting for over 3hours. Every single person who came after me where attended to and I was still not attended to and going to find out what’s going on no one could provide any useful information about my car. I will not recommend this auto shop to anyone as the service they provide is very very very very poor and incompetent staff. They don’t even deserve a one star they deserve zero

Truck was and should have not been sold they didn’t do any checks apparently. Heading to pick it up after 3 weeks of being in a shop. It’s been in the shop more than used. Very disappointed

    We found a new truck online at Performance Ford in Bountiful Utah. We called to confirm the vehicle was in stock, set up financing and drove there from Wyoming the following day to pick it up. The service was amazing and the vehicle was exactly as we had hoped. The staff had everything ready for us and we were in and out within an hour! Truly unheard of at most dealerships!     Don Mendoza was fabulous to work with. My wife and I came in about 45 minutes before closing, looking for a specific truck that we have not been able to find. Everything we looked at previously was out of our budget or in such poor condition that we were not going to buy it. Don had a Ford F-250 super duty that had just been traded in that night. When he found out what we were looking for he went right to work to get us a price and provide us with the options for transacting the purchase. He made sure we got the history on the truck and confirmed with his supervisor the offer price and was clear with the terms of the sale. Although we were past their closing time he made us feel comfortable with taking the time we needed to evaluate the truck and make sure it was the right purchase for us. No high pressure sales. He was very effecient in making certain we had all the information about the truck and also helped us compare options for financing the purchase if needed.     Unfortunately, my experience here has so far been lackluster at best. Multiple people have mentioned Chris K as amazing and attentive, yet I cannot get any one of my dozen phone calls returned. I ordered a Bronco Big Bend and they initially ordered the wrong vehicle. After several weeks of contacting Chris, I contacted the dealership GM, who had someone else return my call, and correct my order. They were supposed to send me my build sheet with locked in pricing. Since March, I still have not received that confirmation of build sheet and price. They won’t return calls, and don’t seem to care much about my business at all. Ford currently won’t allow me to change my dealership. Hey Performance, can you maybe give me a call and send me a pricing contract? I’d appreciate it!

    So I have had to take my van to Ford probably 4 times since I’ve been in Utah and I have to say, this location is wonderful. On the most recent visit, my alternator and battery died and needed to be replaced. The tech that was on my vehicle was named Paul and left such an incredibly awesome impression that I wanted to leave a review. Paul communicated with me through text messages during the time my van was in the shop. I would text every couple days for an update and he responded quickly and without making me feel bad for checking in! This communication gave me such peace of mind and made this whole experience less horrible for me! Thank you Paul at Performance Ford in Bountiful for being a dope human being!     What started to be a bad experience turned out to be a good when I was looking to buy a minivan. My dealer, Alex Eldredge, bent over backwards and went out of his way to ensure that I found exactly what I was looking for.     Bought a used car from Performance Ford end of July, and upon arrival had the car ready for me to drive, which was appreciated. Looking at the car, it seemed just want I needed for my commute. A few cosmetic flaws, but as it was used, I could overlook a few flaws. Got into the car, the power seat would not function correctly. Salesman said that it had been working fine when he brought it up. I could "kind of" reach the pedals, but not where it was comfortable/safe and I inquired about it. Was told that service would look at it. They looked and did not have the part available. Bought the car, went on my way. 2 weeks of having a seat not working right, tensionor and belt broke which resulted in over $900 to get it back home as I was traveling out of state. I have left text messages with the salesman and finance guy, with no response on a fix or help. I had the car repaired after towing it from Oregon, at the local Mazda dealership. Was advised that what had happened should of been caught if a inspection was done. As my overall experience was good at first, it went downhill from there. All I was asking for was to have an issue fixed which was known at the time of sale. But, now, even before my first payment, I have put in over $1500 to make things work. Not a good way to win a customer over.

    I ended up in Salt Lake City 9000 miles into my America road trip. The rental company decided my monthly price should increase to 3600/month, which is way too high. This forced me to buy a care in Salt Lake City area. I spent a day researching for late model used cars so I could continue my road trip. I found a promising car and arranged to come buy it. I even contacted my insurance company and started insurance before I went to see it and buy it. This 'Certified Used Car' was so disappointing, it looked like it had been in multiple accidents, damage on all four sides. I had to go back to the hotel without the car and had to start over my research. I developed a list of cars to see the next morning and called the first and most promising dealer. The Salesman, Chris Krambeer, talked to me on the phone and I told him about my previous experience and he told me about the car. I said I would come to him first and I had a list of six other cars to see. He said, not to worry, I was going to buy the one he had for me. When I showed up in the morning, I began the best car buying experience I have ever had so far and I have been buying cars for 40 years. The car was everything he said it was on the phone. Every used car comes with little things that have to be addressed. Chris took care of my whole list. Chris passed me over to the Finance Manager, Scott Jensen. Scott took great care of me. He presented multiple financing options and multiple add on items like extra protection. I chose the ones I wanted and when i chose not to take an option, he just moved on, not one ounce of upselling me at all. I signed all the paperwork and now owned the car. Chris arranged for someone to drive my car back to Park City from Bountiful so I could return the rental. I then drove the dealer's person back to to Bountiful. This was the best car buying experience I have ever had and the only regret I have is that Utah is way off my normal beaten path for when I need another car.

    I’ve purchased both of my F-150’s from Performance Ford and both times were the best car buying experience I’ve ever had. My most recent purchase (yes, even during a pandemic and auto chip shortage) was everything I could’ve hoped for. Andy went above and beyond to even talk to me on his days off to get everything ready for me to purchase my new truck. No one was overly pushy on selling any extras. The finance guy Rob was also equally fantastic with the paperwork. I couldn’t have asked for a better buying experience, and I hate buying vehicles!

    Updated review. Over three months later I still don't have my license plates. I was told my warranty would get transferred over to the truck I got got from them. But never did! And now im stuck having to repair a truck I just purchased because I was miss lead. (They won't take responsibility and make it right to ther customer)..They keep telling me that they'll get back to me but never do. I got a call from one of their salesmen harassing me over money. Won't recommend this place.

    Don Mendoza Helped me he was awesome. Only complaint was the car really needed detailed on the inside there was a lot of filth on stuff purple make up all over the driver seat controls also dirt in the seats. I will have to pay for it to get detailed. They only need to improve that customer service was good I lived 3 hours away they got me approved and all set before I even got on the road to go see it!

    Hank was the absolute best! I was incredibly anxious about the financing options and process of buying a second hand vehicle out of state.     Don Mendoza was amazing to work with. He genuinely seemed to want to help us get into a truck which would fit our needs the best not just any truck. He was extremely patient as we drove several of the trucks on the lot and asked a ton of questions. We stopped by on two occasions to meet with him and see the inventory. At no time did we feel pressured. He is great to work with... I've already recommended him to several family members and friends.
