Recently went through a refinance with Emily at Global Equity Finance. She was very professional and also accessible throughout the whole process. She explained everything to us along the way and was quick to give us answers to our questions. At first we were told we could do the refinance without an appraisal and when it came back that we needed one. She credited us the amount we had to pay for it at closing. GEF is just a place that wants your money. Although we did end up having our loan refinanced with them the final product looks NOTHING like was was pitched to us when we began the process with them. Ray, our first GEF representative was not forthcoming with the information he provided and promised us a rate that ended up not being honored. They will "sell" you on the idea of a low rate, not having to pay your mortgage for 2 months, and getting your Escrow $ back. None of these things happened. They waited until the last minute to tell me they could no longer honor the rate they stated, and we ended up only getting to "skip" one mortgage payment. We had to get a manager involved just to get CLOSE to what was originally promised to us. And then , Eddie, the manager was terrible at following up on questions and concerns from us and as soon as the ink is dry on your new loan forget hearing from them at all. At the tail end of this experience you can tell you're just a number to them. If rates hadn't skyrocketed towards the end of our refinance journey I would have terminated the process with them and went with someone else. I would not recommend them.

Your company was most helpful, kind and thoughtful. They explained things as we went along. The only thing I wasn't happy with was the man helping me through it all was Charles Kemple. At the end he was going to contact the credit bureau to see if they would drop one company but I never heard back from him. I tried calling and emailing him but could never get through. Recording said the number for him was no longer available. I don't know what happened and would like whatever it is on my credit report dismissed. How do I find out about it? Peggy McAlpine

Amazing! My senior adviser Ms. Emily Peterson, went above and beyond to secure this loan for me. The other finance companies I attempted to deal with before Global, checked my finances and I never heard from them again. Due to being a independent contractor, its extremely difficult to get a loan, when your 1099 looks like your poverty level. (Even though your not). Emily didnt give up on me....this amazing adviser attempted every way possible to secure a loan for me, with numerous failed attempts and tears shed.....there was more more attempt with a bank statement loan....which I never heard of before. Night and day...day and night Emily worked on my loan, contacted me with updates,told me what was needed and always ALWAYS told me the outcome. Then after almost a month of Emily's hard work and never giving up on me....the day before the deadline....I received the call from Emily.....Susan, they approved your loan! I cried, I screamed, I was so thankful that Emily never gave up on me!! Dylan and his team kept us informed every step of the way and arranged appraisal inspection. He called us whenever request for more documents was sent by bank financing so that we could gather documents and send them to Dylan. In most cases, Dylan found ways to access the documents himself. He set up notary to come to house and have us sign and initial all documents to close things out. Dylan and his team did an incredible job in helping us get a loan and lower interest rates. I was looking to get an equity loan on my house for money to pay off my debts and renovations to my house so I came across Global Financial and decided to inquire here. I first talked to Kristopher Jackson and he told me about their company and then he transferred me to his supervisor for more information and her name was Jacklyn Northrop. Both of them VERY POLITE and took me through the steps of getting the loan. Like my personal information, my house including if I owned it straight out, any repairs/ renovations since I had owned the house and including my financial history. She let me know what things I needed to e-mail/fax her to get " the ball a rolling ". Then when she got all this from me, she set up an appraisal appointment with someone near my area and then told me what fees that I had to come up with before we finished with paperwork for the loan. After we got everything in order, she sent off for approval from their company to see what they would be willing to finance me for the loan I wanted. It took in ACTUALLY about a week but I was really excited about being able to FINALLY get this done. She let me know that I was APPROVED and how much! When we both agreed about the details, she sent me my contract with Global Financial through digital signing then set up for a notary to bring the PHYSICAL COPIES for me to sign and they were FEDEXED and I had kept my copies and then sent the ENTIRE digital version for my records. Jacklyn Northrop led me STEP through STEP of the whole process!! I was sent checks already made out to debtors and remaining balance was deposited into an account(checking or savings) of my choice. This ENTIRE process took approximately 3-4 weeks to complete and my 1st payment wasn't due until a month later with a reasonable rate and the amount of payments were WELL in a comfortable range without being in a financial situation. 😁👍

Global Equity Finance was able to help us refinance our current home at a much lower rate than our original mortgage company. Plus they were able to get it all done during the Christmas and New Year holidays. Getting anything done at that time of year is difficult at best but they pulled it off!! Thanks Global Equity!!

Joshua and the team gave me excellent service. Joshua, who handled my loan, did a great job with staying in contact and keeping up with the many changes and updates the loan went through. They mailed me offering a lower mortgage rate and a code to give the customer service rep. I met all of criteria of the offer, which the company acknowledged, but they wouldn’t honor the offer they advertised to me. While their offer didn’t expire for another month they said the offer was only good as of the “publish date” not the “offer expiration date”. It was deceptive and it would be impossible for me to call by the “publish date” since it was published before I received it in the mail.

Global was very easy to work with. Our Contact, (Fred Dukes) very friendly and easy to talk to. Got a great rate and was able to cut my term from 30 to 20 years and payment still less than it was before. I would recommend Global to anyone looking to refi.

Communication was great up until closing papers were signed. I was told I did not need an appraisal due to high equity on home, but if lender requested one, Even Shearin would refund me. When I emailed Even before signing closing documents asking when I would get the refund, he called me and said I would get it after closing. So no, I do not have it in writing. I have called, sent text and emailed with no response. Great company, but if you get promised anything, get it in paper before you sign.

First off my closing was almost a month from original date. I had already had movers lined up, when the closing date kept getting moved I had to cancel movers. I had 10 days after the closing on my home to be out. So the ten days goes by and all my stuff had to be put in 4 huge storage bins at the rate of 328.00 each. We spent 9 days in a hotel plus eating out. Finally a closing date. Then we had to get everything out of storage so we didn’t have to pay another month on them all. We ended up having to rent 3 26 foot trucks over the course of 3 weekends because I had no help except weekends. That was over 1800.00 dollars plus gas to come 4 hours away. We moved over 200 miles away. So the late closing put a dent in our pocket, plus the drive up there and back every weekend. The loan officer was really nice but every day they needed something else, it was a horrible experience and very costly. Thankfully at my age this is my last move.

Andrew O Alvarez, DMO was great help, gave confidence in the refinance process and stayed with through everything as if I was a family member. I will recommend everyone I because of him. Thank You life looks a lot better now.

I needed to refinance my condo, I worked with Antonio Diaz regarding all the documentations needed to approve my new mortgage. All went well until Sentry Management company stalled on finalizing the documents needed to Close. He contacted me and I gave him the Gary Boards President to see if he could help, and he and Mr. Diaz worked together to finalize all, Antonio Diaz worked diligently to keep things moving, without his hard work my Refi would still be in the processing stage. Outstanding customer care..

As for the refinance it was a very easy process. They let all my needs and made it happen very quickly. The only issue I encountered was that I sent a payment on 3.1 that didn’t post to my account to 3.30. This is not ok. It was a large lump sum and I should not have paid 30 days if interest on this. I did try to contact them and have not received a response.

Demetrius did an excellent and very professional job. A concern that I have is being contacted by numerous entities offering mortgage insurance and supposed better deals than the one I got. Somehow my name and address was provided to others outside of GEF and I don't appreciate that. Otherwise all was fine.

I want to preface this review by saying I don't usually leave reviews. I just had to this time... I worked with Ray Reyes on my refinance and he was EXCELLENT. He expedited the entire process for me by having connections with certain departments and was able to close the loan in one week! That's unheard of! I will be working with Ray Reyes on the purchase of my new home as well. He goes well above and beyond the call of duty, very professional, responsive and made the entire experience so seamless. I can't thank him enough for everything he's done for me and my family. Great company with dedicated workers. Thank you all so much, especially Mr. Reyes.

After trying with about 4 other companies that could not deliver on a refinance for our property I gave up trying. Then I received an offer in the mail from Global Equity Finance to refinance my Home Equity loan. When I called them they said that they could refinance my mortgage as well. My expectations were low after all the former tries but Roy Koldaro assured me he could do it. It took longer than I expected because of the complexity of my finances but they kept at it and finally delivered. The team at Global Equity was very responsive, always called me back to explain the next step. I would recommend them without any hesitancy for all your mortgage needs.

Do maybe if you are doing a straight forward refi Global Equity can help. In the case of my husband and I we have an older mobile home with two additions. I fact I stated from the very first minutes of the first call. Luis was the first person I talked to and I asked him 3 times if there would be any issues about the additions. He said no, I asked again and he put me on hold and came back and no issues, he has never heard of additions being a problem. I asked one more time and he again assured me all would be ok. The next person I spoke with was the loan officer Frank. In a lengthy 30+ minute conversation I told him my concerns about pulling our credit, how it would lower our score and would not be worth if we could not get financed because of the additions. Frank also said there would be no issues. He also told me how much our appraisal would be and then changed the amount. Good thing the appraisal was higher and a realtor friend advised me to have Frank ask the underwriters about the additions. Additions have to be HUD approved! Long story short for me their customer service was terrible and they dropped my credit score, wasted my time, and theirs, just to make a sale!

I was extremely pleased with the speed and diligence my loan office,, Emily Peterson, and her team handled my refinance. I was particularly grateful for Emily's help in resolving last minute problems that I accidentally created.
