Took SUV in for recall work. They were able to complete 3 of the 5 recall items that day, two additional items required ordering parts. No problem. I was told to expect a that the parts would take no more than 2 weeks to arrive. Again no problem. Received no call. After 5 weeks made appointment online and received nice call from scheduler next day. She confirmed that parts had arrived and were in my name. Appreciated her help. Issue was that no one contacted me from dealership when parts had arrived and might have been available weeks earlier. Service rep was not the same person I dealt with on first visit. My first impression was that rep on first visit was less than trustworthy. Rep on 2nd visit to complete recall work was stellar, he communicated service expectations and accommodated me on transportation to and from my home since we are a one vehicle couple.

Got the Ram truck we wanted at a deal we were comfortable with and without the huge markup a lot of other dealers are charging right now. There was also no false advertising here that we dealt with at another Dodge dealer. Did all the negotiating online and just had to go in to sign the paper work and pick up our vehicle. We have bought many cars and the staff at this dealer definitely made this hands downs our fastest and easiest car buying experience.

Went in for an oil change and tire rotation, two weeks later got my car back with one new wheel. Somehow during the tire rotation, the security key got damaged. When they tried to remove the lug nuts one wheel was damaged beyond repair. The service manager was very up front about everything, said. Due to the pandemic, they would have to order a new wheel, and it will take at least 10 days. I understood what was to take place and told him to do whatever he had to get the car fixed and let me know when it will be done. He called every few days to give me an update He was very pleasant and helpful Thanks

Kevin Adams took care of me even before I stepped foot on the lot! He knew I was coming from out of town and in need of a new vehicle and he was so kind, patient, & informative throughout the whole process. As a first time buyer, things can get stressful but Kevin took great care of my needs & made the process extremely easy. Unlike most salesmen, he was honest and not aggressive nor did I felt like he was pressuring me into purchasing the vehicle. Upheld every fear of going to a dealership for service. On a crosscountry road trip and stopped in to get my oil changed and tire rotation. Discovered in the next state that they never replaced the lid to the oil fill back on. I called and sent pictures. I had to buy an oil cover from a dealership in Arizona. I called too so if they could send invoice to dealership in Arizona so I don't get charged for their mistake. Took my name and number and never called me back. Shameful! Not even a reply that they couldn't send invoice just ignored. And I was on hold to get to service department for 20 min. ***Update To add salt to the wound and to show how out of touch their customer service is w this dealership I continue to get texts to remind me a service is due for my truck. I realize this may be an automated trigger from my last visit but when I reply w my experience last time and I'd never come back you'd think eventually someone would remove me from the call list. Apparently not. Well, this lack of customer service and lack followup to a concern their dealership caused will also continue to have me definitely warn others to not go to this dealership. Save yourself the headache and loss of your hard earned money. I was always the one to say "but that doesn't happen to me" until it does... Then I realize I should really consider these reviews and if I should risk whatever service I'm getting done from this outfit and how much I stand to lose if this is the time something bad happens to me w this company

Got a GREAT deal on a great truck. I drove nearly 2.5 hours one way to do business here. Vincent, from Jeep’s Internet Sales Department, did a very good job communicating and getting me the help I needed. Salesman Mike Wilder also worked hard to get my deal done. He arranged a lot to get the sale. Heck, Vincent and Mike even helped deliver my vehicle.

I have been struggling to keep a service appointment with other dealership that would not call me back to schedule an appointment. San Diego Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, Ray was great at calling me back, doing my recall and my service work. My service was excellent, done faster than I expected. I appreciated the Uber from home to dealership.

I took my car for a service and also because of a recall letter that I received, according to my service advisor I was there a day earlier and they still took my car in (which I appreciate). I drive a jeep 4xe and apparently there is only one technician that can work with those kind of cars, which led to a 4-day long service. I told my advisor that I couldn’t do that, because I don’t have another car and he kindly broke my appointment down into 2 appointments. After a day, I went to pick my car up and my service advisor was not available, so nobody explained to me what they did to my car, car was not washed nor charged. I would say it’s an OK service.

This was the worst service experience ever. I deviated from my usual Jeep service department in Poway, and I regret it. I made an appointment with Jeep and explained the problem. After dropping off my car, the service department went radio silent. After 3 days, the service rep claimed to not have my phone number (which I gave to him twice when I dropped off the car). Worse yet, he never apologized for the mistake. When I called and asked for the service manager to call me back, no response. For a simple repair, they kept my car for two weeks. My recommendation---avoid like the plague and go to another dealer for service!!

I am so disappointed and upset with this dealership. I called on Saturday to make an appointment and to see if I had any oil changes left. A guy name Brain helped me he stated that I had 4 oil changes left if I used 1, I would still have 3 left- that is what he said! I was like great can you set me up an appointment, I made it for Wednesday my day off. I arrived there today (Wednesday) at 10:45 am, when I was check in, I was told that I did not have any oil changes left and my warranty had expired, and it was going to cost me $119.00, I told them what I was told, they did not care. I said to myself whatever just do the oil change I will pay for it. Keep in mind I had an appointment for 11am, the service tech told me that everyone was going to lunch, and I would have to wait 2 hours for my car he said it may be ready by 2pm, my car that I bought there. I was livid, I said to him I wasted my GAS and my time. I purchased 3 cars from this place. I bet I will NEVER buy another one from them or service anything with them ever again. I took my car to Jiffy Lube on Convoy; I was in and out no problem. San Diego Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram is awful!!

Spoke to a service advisor.. he was extremely rude. After I have him all the information about what was going on with my Jeep; he responded with well I’m not a technician so can I make you an appointment or what would you like me to do. No assistance at all nor did he offer to get me over to a technician. I called Kearny Mesa Chrysler Dodge Ram and their customer service was completely helpful and got me to the person that could help me and also got me in same day as I had stated that I was stuck and couldn’t drive my car, will not be coming to this deal again

Sounds like the Sales floor is great here but the service dept treats you like garbage. My 2013 Jeep JK started smoking so I had to have it towed to a nearby mechanic who stated the work would be too large an operation for their smaller shop. Called this dealership who kept referring me to my "advisor" who did not return calls for a week. Eventually I just had my jeep towed to the dealership without getting in touch with the advisor, and walked-in. Once they had my jeep they gave me an estimate but no diagnosed problem. When I repeatedly contacted them to ask the problem, they would again not return phone calls. I reached out to the owner of this dealership who had the service manager call me. This guy basically told me the jeep is broken and I need to just accept the charge, which I did. Given the price was close to 7k I feel a small description was warranted. They then didn't contact me when my jeep was ready, so after several days I called them and they acted surprised that I hadn't picked it up yet. After driving it for 2 weeks, and after a >$6k engine repair, my check engine light came on again.... ...I've called a few times but again, they haven't ever called back. I'd walk in again but this dept isn't worth my time anymore. Don't bother responding with the phone number to "make things right." That is just the service dept phone number that never calls you back.

I bought a new vehicle from San Diego Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram but would NEVER buy another vehicle from them. No matter what! Their service department is absolutely TERRIBLE! BEWARE! I'm shocked they currently have a 4.1 star rating - which is way too high given how terrible this place is. I've had multiple terrible and DREADFUL experiences at the hands of their service department service techs. I could easily write a 5 page essay about how terrible there customer service dept. is. And it's not just one or two bad service reps. or experiences. It's ALL of them. They are unfriendly and rude. They will let you stand there in that weird little waiting area that all of their desks surround and where you are only a few feet away and clearly visible to them yet the never greet me or say anything like "We'll be with you shortly sir". So you're just left wondering if you're invisible to them while you stand there indefinitely as they stare into their computer screens or chat with each other. Then there is the subject of the actual work they have done on my vehicle (under warranty). It's always shoddy workmanship where I end up having to make her another appt to bring my vehicle back. It's been like this with several different repairs since the beginning. The service manager (who no longer works there) finally admitted to me that they didn't do the work right. Total hassle! If you must buy a Jeep, Chrysler or Dodge at least save yourself the hassle and aggravation and find a different dealership where you will hopefully be treated better!

The team at San Diego CDJR are professional and knowledgeable, the purchasing process was smooth and great .. Mario was my sales advisor and he was always there whenever I had a question or needed assistance.. when it was time for first service, The service manager Brian went the extra mile to make sure I had a great experience. I booked a service appointment to take care of an emissions related recall on my Wrangler. Brian handled the work quickly and professionally. He quoted it would take roughly an hour, but I think it was all done in maybe 20 minutes. Very pleased! Thanks so much for the speedy job. I would gladly recommend getting work done here.

UPDATE: Still nothing has been done about getting my car fixed. I never even receive calls back, I have to chase them down. DO NOT BUY A CAR FROM HERE!!!!! WARNING!!!READ ALL THE THE BAD REVIEWS FIRST. DO NOT BUY A CAR HERE!!!! They are really anxious and quick to have you buy a car but beware of horrible customer service when something goes wrong. My son bought his first car here (used) and was smart enough to buy the extended warranty. But it doesn’t matter because for 10 hours we tried to get someone that was in charge of the service department. They only have a appointment line for their service dept and they are an outside company apparently. The car is making an HORRIBLE sound only 10 days later and we are told that we can not even bring it in to have it looked at for 2 weeks!!!! Well that doesn’t help my son get to work. ABSOLUTELY the worst customer service when it comes to post purchase. We are afraid to even drive the car it sounds that bad. Sounded great during test drive but that was it!!!! When we bring it in I’m just waiting to be over charged just like the other reviews . BUYER BEWARE

For the past year I have been receiving urgent recall notices by mail for my vehicle, I have 4 filed away and just got another today...notice the highlighted section in the picture and on the others it states "A loss of motive power can cause vehicle crash without prior warning" and "it is extremely important to take steps now to repair your vehicle to ensure the safety of you and your passengers." Sounds important right...even urgent?! Well...I do take the steps, and every time I call to schedule a service appointment for the recall(s) I get they same speech from the on call scheduler. "Only a Service manager can schedule this and they will contact you".... and of course they never contact me! I am frustrated with with the zero communication and customer service. I find it ironic that they will contact me if I am "paying for service", but if it is a recall (a free service) you get crickets!!! If I had a choice...I wouldn't even give them 1 star, but had to in order to post this.

I initially scheduled my car to be serviced for an oil change and a diagnosis on February 15th. The earliest availability was February 21st. I happily took that appointment. On February 20th, I received a courtesy reminder text and email of my scheduled 2/21 appointment. I call to confirm 2/21 appt and I am told by customer service/service department rep they don't see me in their system for the scheduled appointment. Confusingly so, I brush it off and reschedule for a March 4th appointment at 9:30 am. I drop my car off at 8:45 am and I am told by assigned service tech, Luis that car should be ready around 2pm or end of the business day. I receive at text message from Luis at 1:47 pm on 3/4 that my car won't be able to get an oil change and if they can keep in the shop until Monday, 3/7. I don't write reviews, because I don't have the time nor do I wish to write a review for any company but I felt the need to write about my experience with this Jeep dealership and its service department. There was no apology nor any quality customer service from this dealership or department. Twice I set an appointment with this service department. The first time, they couldn't find me in their system- even when I received the reminder email and text? And the second time, I'm told hours later that they won't be able to change my oil 6.5 hours after car drop-off.

I made an appointment and dropped my vehicle off the night before to make sure it was ready. I received a call back a day later just after lunch asking me what did I drop my vehicle off for. I explained what my issue was again and received a call later in the afternoon that the figured out the problem and could repair it and have it ready the next day. It was ready the next day. I show up to pick up my vehicle and my passenger side and center console where coved in some kind of foam and scattered oil drops, the service writer did take care of the issue right away. But was unacceptable to have my vehicle for two and half days with an appointment and to return the vehicle in a worse condition then what was dropped off.

Can I give 10 Stars!? Proud new owner of a 2022 Wrangler thanks to the team at San Diego Jeep. I initially contacted the dealership via email with my hopes of leasing a new Wrangler. They responded very quickly and actually answered my questions (others dodged the hard questions about prices etc...) and set up an appointment for me. I totally missed the appointment but Marko was very patient and checked in with me with updates on new inventory. I finally returned from a trip and scheduled a test drive after work one day. Marko met me along with George (in training) and we checked out 3 different Wranglers. Besides being really cool friendly guys, both were very knowledgeable about the vehicles. The entire team went above and beyond! It was a flawless process from selecting the right Jeep with Marko to brilliant insurance tips from Nicolas and was able to drive home in my dream Jeep. I have bought and leased over 20 vehicles over the years and this was the best experience yet. A+

UPDATE: 4/13/22 I took my van to a certified mechanic as it's leaking more oil than before and the mechanic diagnosed that it's the UPPER ENGINE OIL PAN GASKET. The very repair that this dealership SAID they fixed the first time and failed. I now have to make another appointment to get this problem fixed. Who is going to accept accountability for this? I took my '14 Dodge Ram Promaster 2500 for a routine oil change back in January 2022. When I picked up my van, there was a significant oil leak. I was told that it was the upper engine oil pan gasket. The engine in my van is less than a year old and has less than 5,000 original miles on it. I gave the tech all of my paperwork and ensured them that the brand new engine was under warranty, but I still paid out of pocket for the repair. After having the van for less than 48 hours, the oil leak was worse and the flex plate was damaged enough to make a shuttering noise. I was then told the repair needed was for the flex plate and the rear main seal. MORE ENGINE REPAIRS that I paid out of pocket for. The van was at the location for eight days before it was even looked at. When I asked for a reimbursement or any help whatsoever, I was given a handful of numbers to call and I never heard from them again. SORELY disappointed. Drive the extra six miles to Kearny Mesa if you can.

Omar, our service manager was not helpful and did not listen to my issues. I have a 2021 Jeep making an odd thumping noise. I explained to Omar that the sound does not happen every time I drive so I had a recording of the sound on my phone that I wanted him to listen to so that he could explain to his mechanic what to listen for. He said he did not care to see the video and that it didn't matter. After asking him a third time, he finally agreed and then claimed he could not hear the sound when I showed him the video. Needless to say, they kept my Jeep for a couple days and returned it to me with "no issues" even though I heard the noise the very next day while driving. I also made an appt for service a week prior, come to find out, your appt is just to "get in the queue", not actually look at my Jeep. They couldn't even get the Jeep back until the next day. Highly dissatisfied with this dealership and the neglect from Omar. Will not be using this dealer and will be taking my Jeep to get the problem corrected at another dealer.

They tried to get me to do 20k worth of work on my engine while I take my car down the road and they charge 8 for a brand new engine and labor included. Got my car in worse shape than when I dropped it off. Sent my car to a local ran shop and they absolutely did everything right. Don’t let the dealership rob you!

I bought a used truck from this location, long story short, a few days later we found out the Cam Shaft was damaged (there was no way to tell this was a problem unless you actually forced the motor a bit) without questions, hesitation or bad attitudes. Bob the used car manager took it in and got it repaired and even put me in to a "loaner" vehicle for the time being. about 2 months later I realized this was not the truck for me. I contacted Marko P. (Sales) and he helped me work out the best deal possible for the trade (traded for a Jeep Grand Cherokee) Marko was always professional and even stayed late to accommodate my work hours. The great experience and customer service allowed me to give them even more business by buying a RAM TRX just a week later (separate purchase). SDCDJR has now obtained a long term customer, not only personally but for all my fleet vehicles as well. I would give them a 6 star is it was possible. Rather if it is a used or a new vehicle, I highly recommend stopping by, as you will feel welcomed with no "market condition markups" like the competition.

My Service Advisor Santo was amazing. I just had a very small warranty repair that was needed on my 2020 Ram 1500. Once the part was available, I showed up without an appt and Santo was able to get me squeezed in quickly. I was there for less than 20 minutes to get the part replaced. In and out very quickly. I always have great service from Santo.

They have the least pushy sales staff I have ever been around! Maxwell was SUPER cool over the phone, and even got me pictures of a used car that was locked up in the service center (it was closed that day.) I will definitely recommend anyone to go here for a vehicle!

I brought my Jeep Gladiator to San Diego Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram, because a dealer closer to me failed me. First, they did not honor a service contract. Then, they failed to inform me of a leak in the rear axle. Finally, I was led to believe parts to repair my jeep were ordered. After two weeks the parts were not ordered. Once I arrived at San Diego Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram, I was greeted by name, ushered to Santo my service writer, He took time to listen and even found another problem with my Jeep, that should have been addressed by the previous service writer. He potentially saved mine and my family's lives. Had this problem continued, an accident was probable. Thank you, Santo! Yes, I am still awaiting parts, but Santo has kept me in the loop.

Repair Service a Nightmare. Had repairs done recently and took the repair shop nearly a week to “fix” my Jeep and when I got my jeep back, the next day it broke down on my way to work, made me late to work & had to call my insurance company to come tow the Jeep because the Company the dealership uses, the eta time was 4 HOURS to come pick up my Jeep. Called my insurance company and they had a company come pick it up within 30 mins. Turns out, the repair shop didn’t reconnect my gas line after they serviced my Jeep so when my Jeep broke down, I lost a quarter tank of gas! After paying HUNDREDS of dollars for “top quality” service that’s “warranteed.” And not only that, they even LOST MY KEYS FOR HALF AN HOUR making me late for work AGAIN. What did I get for half a day lost trying to find a tow truck on my own, hundreds of dollars spent for service and being late to work twice? BARELY even a sorry. The last time I will ever use this place! The only reason this has 2 stars instead of 1 is because Alicia my representative was super Nice. Update: A week has gone by and I have tried reaching out about reviewing of my service & no response about their unsatisfactory service from anyone. Not surprised though seeing how they didn’t care they didn’t care I was stranded on the side of the road for their mistake. A simple sorry would have suffice, but now, I will expose these frauds. Plus changing my rating to a 1 star. Seems they only reply to positive reviews on people who buy new Jeep Gladiators. DO NOT GET SERVICE HERE, THEY WILL TAKE YOUR MONEY IF THEY MAKE A MISTAKE, THEY WILL BARELY FIX YOUR VEHICLE & WASTE THE MONEY YOU PAID FOR. How could you not fix the problem you created? NO ACCOUNTABILITY HERE

Salesman and finance were great. Negotiated the price over the phone and caught a flight to San Diego to purchase their Jeep Wrangler. I was picked up at the airport, test drove it and agreed to purchase the jeep. I noticed the interior was dirty, dog hair in the carpet, the seats were stained and spider webs on the spare tire. While I was doing the financing the Jeep was getting"Detailed". I assumed detailed meant interior cleaned and shampooed in addition to the exterior washed so I didn't bother inspecting it. 7 hour drive home and the next day I looked over the Jeep and realized they DID NOT do anything to the interior. Called the sales manager and he had the salesman call me to find out the details. I explained the situation and sent him photos. I told him the local detail shops wanted $200-$250 to detail the interior. The sales manager agreed that it wasn't cleaned and offered to reimburse me a $100 with a receipt from a detail shop but didn't feel that he should pay for the whole detail.....the $100 didn't cover 1/2 of the interior detail. Told him to keep his $100, hopefully my review costs the company more than the cost of the detail. My fault for not thoroughly inspecting the Jeep!!

Great costumer service, from the moment I submitted my information online, I receive a call in couple minutes from Tim. He left a very friendly voice message and when call him back I award connected with him and he welcomed my business. He visited their shop on Friday 11/25 9:30am. He met with Tim and he was very friendly and nice. He answered all my questions with patience and tried very hard to get the car I was interested. Soon he introduced me to Stan. Stan was also very kind and friendly and tried very hard and made sure to give some space to make the right decision. I met with Chuck on Saturday, November 6th at 9:30 AM. Chuck was excellent throughout the whole process and did an amazing job in helping me find the right model, color and pricing. He was very thorough in his explanations and did an overall tremendous job in helping me secure my 2021 Jeep Grand Cherokee. I highly recommend using Chuck with your future purchases/leases. My latest visit was great. Santo, my service advisor, was amazing. He dug into my vehicle (JKU) history and resolved the issue with a clock spring that was supposed to have been ordered but wasn't last August by a different service provider. Santo found that there was a new clock spring in stock and was able to schedule installation the next day. Santo knows the meaning of customer service and he delivers. Thanks Santo!

Mike was filling in for a co worker and he treated us very professionally. We dropped our Jeep off for an overheating issue and got it back fixed and covered by warranty in a couple days. I’ve owned BMWs, Mercedes, Fords, etc and any time you bring something in that should be covered by the warranty those companies would play games. Jeep Chrysler dodge on auto circle was quick and professional. They honored the warranty without question. My wife and I could tell that the people that work here really care about the customers!

Took my car in for its first oil change and tire rotation. Picked up the car and paid. When they brought the car out, the tires had not been rotated (the front passenger side rim had a ding when I brought the car in, and it had not moved as wold be expected after a rotation). I got a refund for the tire rotation. But, the skipped work makes me wonder, did they change the oil? I am not coming back here for service.

Service department is terrible. Called 5 different times to get a quote and schedule replacing a part in my dodge. Never could reach a service advisor, left countless messages. Finally received a call back by someone who said he was working on the quote, and then never got a call back. Will never use this service department again. Worst customer service in San Diego.

I have not historically had any positive car buying experiences, but in this case it was and is worthy of a review. I visited 5 dealerships in the quest for our Jeep Wrangler. Essentially it is a crazy time to buy a car out there and no stock makes for a series of encounters with unmotivated salesmen, huge mark ups, and the "haggling" mentality which is overall unpleasant. This location however was different. I called and got Eric Sundquist on the phone. I confirmed the car was there, drove right over and completed the sale within minutes. There was no markup on the MSRP or any attempts to make me feel like we were being cheated in any way. Eric was our sales rep from start to finish and he was efficient, no-nonsense, and did an excellent job following up when I had a question after sale. He had no obligation to respond to me after I drove off the lot, but he took the time and care to do so and that is really an example of quality service. The finance manager Andrew was outstanding as well. The loan process was quick and fair and package options were clearly explained. Finally, a service rep by the name of Kent called me to answer a question and I was so pleasantly surprised by the call and the followthrough. I think it is a true example of team work and a well run operation. The office space layout at this dealership is a bit odd, but the people that fill the space make it a great overall experience. I highly recommend this location for any car purchase.

They are the cure! Went to another dealer and negotiated on a Jeep Gladiator. Felt uneasy for three days. On a whim I went to San Diego Jeep where I had purchased a Jeep in 2008. I selected a Gladiator and the negotiations began. Smooth, easy comfortable transaction. I drove out in my new truck and have not had a single regret about the truck price or decision to go to San Diego Jeep. Marko and Sergio were extremely responsive to texts and chats, polite, respectful and clear at all times. Best decision I made going to San Diego Jeep.

My service experience was actually quite fantastic. I just walked in one day without an appointment to ask about a recall issue and this guy in an office saw me waiting and walked up and asked if he could help. To my surprise Jeremy was the service manager! I wasn’t prepared to leave my car that day, but let me drop it off the following week while I was on vacation. He got my car serviced and the recall done. And when I casually mentioned a weird paint thing and asked what he thought it was he recognized that something was very wrong and the issue wound up being that my new Jeep was rusting under the paint! It took a little time to get the repair approved and the body shop work done, but Jeremy kept me informed along the way without me even asking. I have truly been impressed with this dealership. From when I purchased my Jeep, to now my service experience 👍

Just bought my 2018 Toyota Mirai from this dealership! They were very helpful, very patient, and got us a really good deal! I am very grateful for these people. My sales rep was Scott! He went above and beyond for us, gave me advice (my first time buying a car) and helped me through the entire process. If you're looking for a *no bs* sales rep, I recommend him. Also! The gentleman Mike from finance was very helpful as well, he printed our plates and was really nice. And the gentleman with the Olive skin and had a Spanish accent, he looked and acted very professional (I forgot to ask for your name, I apologize 😭) was so patient with us in both sessions before and after money payment. He made things simple and easy and let us read the documents as much as we wanted, and worked with our bank to process the payment. He did our paperwork and was so patient and that was something I appreciate very much. Have had zero problems with the car I bought (was used with ~18k miles) and this dealership even washed my car free of charge. 😭💖 Thank you so much for this pleasant first experience!

Unfortunately, I arrived before 7 am, when they open, as indicated my Chrysler employees to be first in line for oil change. Two hours later, my car was still in line. The mechanic may have done an amazing work. However, three hours or more waiting for oil change for a new customer does not favor the customer services rates. I followed their advise and I was on times. I would rather have someone from first day that I would have to wait three hours for a few minutes of oil change. Pandemic is not an excuse anymore. Everyone is back working. We should not be waiting so long. Either they need hire more staff, or someone has to make sure that the customer and his/her time is valued. Chrysler is in the best location. The dealer sells like crazy. Care about your customers! Those will bring references, friends and family. Those will show the rates valuing excellent work when it’s deserve it. Waiting in line awful. Repair and oil change well done. Improve customer waiting and you will have five starts. Read reviews.If employees are w commission, I’m surprise that the service is not top notch. High expectations is a must in a good company. Thank you.

we had a terrible experience with this dealership, my college daughter's car wouldn't start, she called aaa who told her she needed a new battery, the aaa mechanic didn't have one or he would've replaced it, she drove to the dealership and told them to replace the battery, when she came back to pick up her vehicle, they didn't replace the battery and charged her a $190 fee, i left the service manager multiple messages and he won't return my call, i've asked for a refund of the unnecessary "diagnostic" fee and have not heard from the service manager at all, i would avoid this dealership

Bought my first car from this dealership - Staff was friendly and I felt confident about my purchase. However, less than 2 weeks after driving it off the lot, my car failed to start. I spent quite a bit of time, money, and effort for mechanics to diagnose and fix several issues. This has made me apprehensive about my new car. Additionally, I have found several small flaws in the used car that were not addressed. I am glad I have a car but I wish I was more thorough and could rely more on my ride!

I love this location! The staff is amazing! Everyone in every department knows who to direct you too if you have any questions or concerns. Every interaction I’ve had with the staff is exceptional! Jose Reyes is an amazing employee he works in the service department making sure your concerns on your vehicle are addressed! I drive in and he’s usually the first person I see waving at me, acknowledging that he saw me and that he will get to me as soon as he can after helping the customers that were there before me. I usually go for an oil change and I know the wait time can get pretty hectic but that’s because everyone is so kind. They address your concerns for your vehicle and out of courtesy they let you know what else your car is due for. He also make sure your paperwork is ready for you and gives you a call to let you know your vehicle is ready. Totally recommend! I also purchased my vehicle here in 2018! So 3 years strong!

I purchased a 2018 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Willy's Wheeler Edition from Charlie and I was impressed with the communication and service. Charlie worked with me to get this manual transmission Jeep that had taken me quite a while to find (I was considering purchasing from Florida and Alabama because used manual transmissions with low mileage are difficult to find). This dealership is a significant distance from me, but Charlie was responsive and helped me navigate my purchase, as agreed per our phone conversations, even with my children physically present during the final transaction. I have not had service from a dealership like this before and would recommend this dealership to anyone interested in a straightforward and direct approach.

Great experience. The lot was a little small and it did feel a little cramped but that’s my only complaint. When we pulled up we saw the vehicle we wanted to check out. It was a 2021 Gladiator and it was parked right in front of the office. They salesmen did not rush out immediately and let us check it out on our own with no pressure. When we had some questions Scott was great. He was a no BS kinda guy that gave us the facts and answered our questions honestly...or at least it seemed so. All in all we ended up leaving in a beautiful new Jeep and we love it so far. We are looking forward to many years with our little adventure mobile. 🌴😎

The service department at SDCDJR is amazing! I feel like they are super honest and helpful. I have been there several times and had work done, they always get to you in a fast and polite manner. The wait time is reasonable and prices seem fair. I have stopped by a few times with a question about my Jeep or needed help putting on the front plate or asking about a smell! They ALWAYS help without making you feel bad.

Absolute worst customer experience I’ve ever had. After having my car for almost 3 months I’m notified that I can finally pick my car up. (They had to replace my transmission and it took weeks for me to even get a rental seems they’d rather you die of a faulty transmission then provide a rental) I, being a decent human being, pay to wash the rental and even vacuum the inside and clean it before returning it. (Looks even better then when it was issued to me) I go to pic my car up and the rep there wasn’t even sure if my car was ready for pic up? After waiting awhile turns out that it is I am handed my keys. I go to my car and it is so dirty! Dirtier then when I left it! I start the car and the first thing that pops on is that it needs an oil change. Seriously? Not only that but there are new scratches all over the car and my digital screen on the inside look like it melted! Obvious that has been sitting in the sun with absolute no care. I take my car to go get it washed now so I pay for the rental wash and my own cars wash. And there is so much tree sap on my car that it still looks dirty. I start hand scrubbing my own car and that’s when I notice the new scratches. I’m looking to speak with corporate about my horrible experience. I recommend not getting a car here because they are only interested in selling a car to you and if anything goes wrong with the car that’s only the beginning of your bad experiences with this dealership.

After visiting almost every Jeep dealer in San Diego we finally got the deal we wanted at San Diego Jeep. Sergio our salesman was very patient and kind. My husband could not make up his mind on which trim of Gladiator he wanted and SD Jeep allowed us to test drive multiple cars. Another dealership here in San Diego told us we could only test drive the car after we completed an application (which was ridiculous). Three times, it took us three visits to this dealership to finally make a deal. It only took this long because we know how much we wanted to pay for this car. We sat down and applied at other Jeep dealerships and none would beat the deal we got at SD Jeep. I know that other dealerships are sticking to their prices because of supply and demand, but I will never understand how a dealership would rather lose a sale and wait for another customer to come and purchase the car at a higher price. Sadly National City Jeep did not want to lower their price on a 2020 model, I could not believe they are willing to hold on to last years model. Stan our finance guy is the best! I call him Stan the Man. I wanted to hug Sergio and Stan after we finally got the deal we wanted, but because of social distancing I wasn't allowed :) Thank you Sergio and Stan!!! You are awesome! I'll be stopping by later today with some pizza. If you are in the market for a Jeep I highly recommend you stop here first.

Best car buying experience I've had. Albert Robinson was my sales associate. I ordered the vehicle in July'21 and Albert kept me informed of the build process, which was extended due to the supply chain issues. Vehicle was delivered in December and dealer honored price that was negotiated in July...despite significant price increases that were evident on new cars on the lot (& at all competing dealers). Had some follow up with the service manager over a minor issue and he was prompt in getting back to me. Furthermore, Albert followed up in tracking down a valuable item that I had left in the trade-in vehicle. I highly recommend Albert and San Diego Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram.

Came in due to a battery issue. Dropped off the car and advisor said not to worry since car and battery were under warranty and everything would be covered. Since I had the car in, also had them change my fuel filters (diesel), cabin air filter and engine air filter, since they were never changed. Obviously got robbed for $700 bucks but since its my first fuel filter change, i took it. Next time, ill definitely do it myself.. Anyways, they called me 5 hours later to tell me sorry, cant cover your battery (reason I originally came in). After a few minutes going back and forth, asked them to cancel all the work and ill come pick up the car. Was told fuel filters are out and now need to be changed, so fine keep the car. Got a call 3 hours later, around 4pm advising car would only be ready next day! What?! Changing filters would require the car to spend the night? Fine.. Picked up car next day and saw the mechanics paperwork showing what was done and what was recommended. In large bold letters "CHANGE BATTERY IMMEDIATELY" was advised. Asked manager and he said too bad.. Ridiculous how dealers do whatever they can to not cover anything. Will NEVER return to this place, they suck!

Dropped my car off at 0700 in the morning. Was informed that the car would be ready at 11:45. I show up at the time agreed upon. Only to find that 0 work has been done to my car. After asking what all had been done they informed me that the car inspection was completed and that my total would be $4,400 for brakes to be replaced. And that I would need to pay before the work was done…. Naturally this made zero sense. I told them to bring my car down and that I was leaving. After 30min of the Rep back peddling they finally brought my car out. Still had to pay $120 for the inspection. The reason I am giving this a 1/5 stars is due to the attitude I was given. The appointment was made over a month in advance; I had gone as far to tell them the exact replacements and made a point to show up early. I have always gone to Doge for my service and would will continue. However, it will NOT be at this location.

Started off a little rocky, in that the woman I spoke to to schedule my appointment apparently never put it on the calendar. I showed up at my appointment time and the young men taking down the initial information were attempting to validate my appointment with various information. Eventually we were able to find the issue but they honored the appointment I was given and had me in and out within an hour. The employees always provide great service and have great attitudes.

The service center at this location is a joke. They no longer schedule appointments for oil changes and instruct customers to use the Express Lane. Their Express Lane advertises operating hours between 8am - 4pm on Saturdays with a "dedicated service bay for quick oil changes and vehicle checkups". Well, I showed up today at 2:55pm expecting to get an oil change. First guy that saw me said his shift was about to end and then left. After waiting about 10-15 mins, a guy named Omar came out and then refused to provide service, since they were about to close within the next hour. Told me to show up before 11 am if I expect to get a same day oil change and that I can't schedule an appointment. I requested to speak to manager to get clarification on operating hours and was told that there was no manager on duty...which is typical for this place. Very frustrating driving across town to use their "Express Lane". Whoever is managing this service center is doing a terrible job and needs to wake up. Hire better employees, read the reviews and provide better customer service. "Express Lane" is just another way for this place to refuse service to Jeep customers. Take your vehicles somewhere else, if possible!

Dropped my truck off with a check engine light and an oil change. Never received a call back. Finally dropped by to see what the status was. Went to my service writer who sent me away not knowing I was his customer. When I was brought back to him he showed me a half dozen or so recommendations on a screen that totaled approximately $10,000. He offered no explanation on which ones he thought were necessary or a priority. I really want to trust a dealership but they make it quite difficult. I enjoyed my buying experience on my 2016 Ram 2500 and a couple of oil changes after that. But this was incredibly unhelpful. I paid for the oil change and left.

Several bad experiences throughout the last year. Had my radiator replaced in August which resulted in them not properly fastening the lower radiator tube in place and all my coolant spilling out a few days later. Had to have the car towed back to get it fixed again. When I had my O2 sensor fixed in October they offered to repair the wiring harness for free. Ended up having the car in the shop for nearly a month without being able to get in contact with any of the service representatives. Car was running excellent for about 2 days until the check engine light came back on. Turns out the wiring harness was never properly fixed. Brought it back in once more recently for servicing, figured nothing can go wrong with an oil change and tire rotation. My tires were not rotated (I can tell because my driver side rim had a few marks on it), my fluids were not topped off, and the check engine light that had been on since October turned out to be the result of their faulty work, which I was told would take at least a week to fix because they have higher priority vehicles. Overall will not bring my car back and have decided to find a new mechanic.

I'm giving my service experience two stars because they had a really cool app that sent me a text with an estimate for work needing to be performed. I dropped my JK off the day before new years because my power steering went out, so I am also genuinely impressed that they were able to get my jeep back to me in four days. The first issue was that my service advisor Luis couldn't be bothered to call me. Despite my calling him twice, texting him once, and leaving a message he couldn't call me back; I received a text on Monday that my jeep was ready to be picked up. When I arrived Luis wasn't there, I realize there is no fault in this, but they were ready to let me drive away and it was only when I asked for the notes that I found out additional work needed to be performed. If I had not asked, they would have let me drive home and not told me that my tie rods needed to be replaced and that my wheels could not be aligned until this was performed. When I asked, "Why hadn't I been informed?", "How much would this cost?" and "How long this would take?" I was told they didn't know and that Luis would have to contact me. I was more than upset after a long day of work, I had gotten a ride down to the dealership and wanted my car so I could drive home. I took my car home and instead of a call from Luis, I received a text asking for a review of my experiences. Luis, here is your review. *EDIT* I forgot to mention, when I received the really cool app text with the estimate, it stated that my vehicle would be ready the next day, Friday. When I declined half of the suggested services, I received a later text telling me my vehicle would not be ready until Monday. Why does it take longer to complete less work? I get you need to make money, all I really needed was a phone call.

The car I bought had mechanical issues before I even made my first payment. I dropped off the car and was sparingly contacted by the service agents afterward. After multiple attempts I was finally able to reach my service agent. My service agent Omar also informed me I do not qualify for a loaner because the problem is an "easy/quick fix"... I have yet to receive my car after almost a week... I called once more and was told the service supervisor would call me back. I am hoping the service supervisor (Gabe) calls me back before the weeks end... Can anyone give me a ride to work???

Everyone at SDCDJR is very friendly and respectful. No sales pressure at all. I had a price issue and the Sales manager came over and apologized and got it fixed to my complete satisfaction. Good after sales support so far too. I had also made a mistake on the title and they fixed that for me, no problem. They are exemplary of what any buying experience should be.

First off wanted to say the person who help me was amazing and got me the best rate and discounted possible. Definitely would recommend going their for the buying experience and everything. The only thing I didn’t like is that they don’t take used sells as seriously. My husband got a new truck today and I bought used vehicle a day before and they didn’t even fill my tank to half but they filled my husband truck all the way up no problem. Just doesn’t make my purchase like it matters to them because it wasn’t brand new. Just wasn’t something that really impressed me about them.

I was looking for a specific Ram 1500 that most of dealers had on their lots.The first one that I went to had $5,000 worth of “add ons” ceramic sealer and security systems. San Diego Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram didn’t play that markup game. I lucked into it being Albert Robinson’s turn for the next walk-in. There’s a completely different vibe compared to the first place I went to. The salesman, sales and finance managers both made the sale one of the best car buying experience that I’ve ever had. The dealer that I didn’t buy from I could ride my bike to but it’s well worth the drive further.

Zero stars. Took my Jeep Wrangler in for a scheduled appointment at 0800 on a Friday because the check engine light is on. Also had concerns about a weird noise when the clutch pedal was pushed down. Didn't hear back until the following Monday. The service advisor, Luis, never called me about the issues with my Jeep. What I received was a link to an app with over $9700 in repairs listed. It was like InstaCart for Jeeps. No explanation as to what the issues were. I called the service advisor, Luis, left a message asking for clarity. HE NEVER RETURNED THE CALL! Picked my Jeep up 4 days later. Not once did the service rep call back. Does the dealership think I'm just going to okay $9700 of unexplained repairs because an app said so? My Jeep has been mostly garaged the last 2 years thanks to COVID. I go maybe 40 miles a week. I emailed the dealership but, again, HAVE HEARD NOTHING. Honestly I should have known better. The last time I took the Jeep in for service I picked it up, and the next day it broke down not a block from my house. Had it towed back to the dealership, and they charged me another $1200 dollars for something I swear they broke themselves.

My car has been in the shop for the same issue 3 times within the space of a few months (auto stop/start does not function). I now got my car back after the 3rd attempt and hopefully it lasts. The last time I took it in the issue recurred as soon as i got home after picking up the car. Escalating the issue to a service manager is a huge hurdle and required multiple phone calls, texts etc. although my issue my voice mail indicated that the issue is a recurring one. Finally, the service manager called me back and addressed the issue. Areas for improvement include: technical competency, better customer service and issue escalation process

This is probably the worse car experience I have had in a very long time. I tried to negotiate with this dealership for a Wrangler 4XE. I dealt with two salesman, the first one: Charlie, was always annoyed that I asked questions regarding how the vehicle worked in terms of the Hybrid side. He had no patience and was not a very helpful salesman. The second one was Elvis, whose process and lack of attention to what we wanted was something else. This guy, without even giving us numbers for payments and was already taking his sweet time doing a credit application, and had us in there for almost two hours, to at the end tells us the deal will not be done. Lastly, Marko, the manager, came out at the end and did some manager theatrics to just tells us how the deal was not going to happen in front of the whole showroom, quite loud, and then went on to try to justify the "options" which are just markups. The whole thing was a gimmick. I even tried to give them a second chance, but the manager told me that it will take until July to get new 4XE's and they actually arrived that same day. The manager did not even know when his inventory was arriving. I leased my brand new 4XE somewhere else, and I am so happy I did, the experience was smooth, no gimmicks and fair. This shortage will not last forever, but this markups and theatrics from these people will live forever online and in the mind of customer. Research and shop around, there are at least 5 other Jeep dealerships around, trust me, I am glad I did!

I made an appointment for an oil change and AC inspection. I waited 2 weeks for the next appointment available. On Wednesday I dropped my jeep at the time of the appointment and the guy checking me in (Omar) told me they probably wouldn’t get to see it that day. When I asked what the purpose of an appointment is, he told my wife and I that appointments are not guaranteed that they will get to it. I called the next day Thursday to see if it was going to be serviced and Omar said that it wouldn’t be serviced Thursday and that he never told me it would be. By Friday I needed my car back so I went to pick it up. It took them 45 minutes to get me my car and 2 different employees told me they couldn’t find my keys or car on the lot while I was waiting. My experience was terrible and Omar didn’t help out with anything. He was nasty with my wife on the phone and all we wanted to know was when our oil change was going to be done. I ended up going to jiffy lube. There are other jeep dealers in San Diego I will go to next time I need service.

Worst experience with a dealership EVER! Made an appointment 2 weeks in advance to address 4 items, two of which were recalls. They had my Jeep for 4 days and only completed 1 of the four service items. A part needed to be ordered to complete the recall repairs (which should have been identified and completed when the appointment was set). No explanation as to why they needed a fifth day (or longer) to address an issue with door locks and a new remote fob (neither of which were completed). I was also advised I would be notified as soon as the necessary part for the recall repair was received. One month later, still no notification. GET SERVICE ANYWHERE BUT SAN DIEGO CHRYSLER DODGE JEEP RAM!

If I could leave less I would... didn't know how to work on my jeep and now I am left with a jeep that can't run even though it was fine when I brought it in! Wouldn't return ANY of my calls! I always leave great reviews even on ok service... but wow.. they lied and said they would help fix it (after they messed it up) and when I came by without my husband said it was my fault for not knowing about my jeep and refused to help fix it ... and wouldn't help with a rental car....even though it was fine when I walked in... definitely do not go here! And to top it off... they tried to sell me a new jeep 3 times! Like... please just fix mine! BEWARE!

When I purchased 100000 miles extended warranty from mopar . the contract said that I pay a $100 copay and that's it. Now they are charging an extra $190 for no reason also every time I have a problem they find an excuse and claim that it is not included within the warranty. Added to that, they giving stopped loaners so you have to rent your own car. The nice thing about Chrysler LOL is that they don't respect any contract and can change it whenever they want. Screw the customer.

Was told my truck needed a alignment, even though it had not sign of being miss aligned, they said one tire was feathering. So I took it in and paid for an alignment and yet when I got it back it was worse than ever. Now it veers to the right where as before it was went strait. I also just replaced my cabin air filter right before going in and yet they still said I needed a new one. A complete scam. It’s like the techs and service providers are on a sale commission for the parts and labor they charge.

I have to say that i wished i never purchased this car. When we checked out this car out, we missed a big keyed portion on passenger side area. Whoever they hired for touch up made us missed the keyed portion We didn't noticed till we washed the car after wk ish. The first thing i noticed when we was on the test drove was that the front tires was rubbing every time i turned. Thought it was the wheel cover that was rubbing. Come to found out that service dept put the rear wheels to the front. I know the car is 2011 IS 250 F Sport, but even the general manager Robert Gray stated they have a guy that comes out to touch up portion. You guys been warned that please..please..please do check all aspect of the car before signing on the dot. Go somewhere else to make a used/new car purchase.

Bought a 2020 Jeep wrangler at this dealership. Great experience, i had looked online and knew the car i wanted, went down without appointment and took a test drive. Marko Petricevic (internet sales director) was really helpful, friendly and talked me through all the options. Agreed a price and made a deal. Went back next day to pick up car, was in and out in 90 mins or so.

The dealership service dept is the worst place to take your vehicle to get something looked at, or repaired. Unless your making an appointment for an oil change service, don't expect to get your vehicle looked at in a timely, or reliable way!. Unfortunately we have a lifetime added care plus warranty and that's the reason I keep returning here. why do we the Customers even make an appointment, if it's gonna take 3 to 4 days to look and find the issue we are bring it in for. While sitting there waiting for my ride to take me home, you can here other people complaining under there breath, or to the person that accompanied them there. My wife stopped bringing the car for service here because she could not put up with the excuses and incompetence. So, now I'm stuck doing it! This will be the last time I come here for service. Do your self and others a favor and DO NOT BRING UR CAR HERE FOR SERVICE! GUARANTEED DISAPPOINMENT AND FRUSTRATION

Classic dealership scumbags, beware. Service advisor quoted $1600 for 2x rear unit bearing replacement ($300 parts, $1300 labor) in a 2015 Jeep Patriot. I literally did it myself in a parking lot in _less time_ than they quoted for a professional mechanic with a lift and every tool in the universe, and it was my first doing a unit bearing on any car ever.

Normally service is good and staff are attentive at SDCD, but since they requested this review I feel it is worthwhile to post my comments on my most recent experience. My Pacifica Hybrid was due for an oil change as the last service was back in the early Covid era. I checked the SDCD website to see if procedures had changed and was assured by this source that the dealership opened at 9 AM and that no appointments were necessary for an oil change. So imagine my surprise when I arrived at 9 AM to discover that the policy had changed and in fact reservations are required, and that no service time was available until late the following day. Ok, I guess I can live with that, but it was an avoidable inconvenience for a website that should have been updated. I arrived for my service time the next day and and settled into the customer lounge when someone took ill and vomited on an adjacent chair. What followed was a disturbing delay as staff debated who was responsible for cleanup. This was finally resolved about the time my vehicle was ready, however I then learned that my prepaid tire rotation had been skipped because the tread wear was not up to their standard. That may be, but it seems like a decision to decline a prepaid service should be mine to make. All in all it seems like the five star service I have come to expect has become a bit tarnished, and hopefully will be rectified by my next scheduled appointment, assuming my tires are still roadworthy...

After a terrible experience at the Kearny Mesa CDJR location, I decided to give this location a try, and I was not disappointed. Service advisor was excellent! Always takes too long to check in and they are on such a lean staff (come on! It’s a Saturday when most people can bring their vehicle in!).that they cannot accommodate requests other than oil changes. I need warranty work done and they didn’t have anyone there to look at it, so now I have to take time off work to bring it in on a weekday.

Stuck Without a Car!!! I came across a Jeep and contacted the dealer about it, they said it wasn’t in but as soon as it was they’d get back to me. A little over a week ago they called and said it was in, they sent me pictures and a window sticker - wrong one! He then sent me the correct sticker but said it was not in yet, that we could make the deal as if I was there and then pick it up when it arrived, great I thought and I agreed. (I’m coming from L.A.) On Monday the 13th they ran my credit several times (my credit score dropped) I was approved and they asked for my license and address to FedEx me the paperwork I sent them everything they requested to move the deal along. But then he asked for my CC to put a down payment, I told him we hadn’t agreed on terms monthly payments etc. And that’s how it went, every time I asked for an explanation of fees, payments etc. they couldn’t, explain it, every time I asked for the paperwork/ contract they couldn’t send it. They would instead send pictures of worksheets or half screenshots of numbers with no explanation. When I mentioned that one of the reasons I decided to go with them is to do the deal before I picked up the car, He said he understood my requests but still didn’t forward me anything that I asked for. On Thursday the 23rd we finally came to an agreement via text (still no paperwork/ contracts) I decided to buy, we agreed to down payment, monthly payments and interest rate. Within half an hour he texted me only to let me know that the car had been sold, he blamed me that they couldn’t wait for my decision from last week. Really?! I did everything that you asked besides send you money when you could not provide contracts/ agreements etc. and you decide to blame the customer? You should have not run my credit only to leave me in a tough spot with no car, now I have to decide whether to get a car at higher interest rate or wait a few months for my credit score to recover. They obviously don’t care about their customer or potential customer just their sales.

Made an appointment for my brakes squealing, I was told that I dont need new brakes but I kept being told that brakes squealing was "normal". I also told them about my engine fan running high after being parked for less that 5 minutes and was told that it was normal. I knew all of this wasnt normal in any sense but I was getting frustrated that the service department was minimizing these problems without even looking at the vehicle. I was previously told that they do not make appointments and was able to make one and had to come in early in the morning. I paid $75 dollars for the brakes and the moment i drove off they were squealing still. Also, I tried to pick up my vehicle over the weekend and did know that the service department was closed on Sunday. I tried to get my car or atleast the contents inside that I needed for work and was declined. If I could give 0 stars I would!!

I found the vehicle I wanted to look at online. When I called to set up a test drive Marko answered and set everything up for me. When I arrived to the dealership for the test drive, I thought the vehicle had a funny smell. I couldn’t tell if it was the vehicle or from the outside so I asked if he noticed a smell and he didn’t. The process from the test drive to purchase was the fastest process that I’ve ever had buying a vehicle. I will add it was a weekday. I give them 4 stars because while their service was great the vehicle itself needed to have the cabin air filter replaced. They had to transfer the vehicle from another location and this is something they should have noticed and addressed then. I ended up changing the filter myself the next day and everything else has been fine so far.

At first I was disappointed when I arrived at the dealer because I had scheduled an appointment at their website for an oil change. When I arrived I was told it was first come first served. However, once I told Jose about the situation he offered me a ride home and a pick up for 4 hours later to go back and get my car. The service itself was great! They checked the car from front to back and made sure all was good. I would go back again. I do wish that they would re establish the scheduling process.

Ugh, my experience with this place is just absolutely infuriating. I made an appointment over a week in advance noting what I needed done (a new headlight) and saying that I can not leave my car overnight. Islam stated that that wasn't possible and that I was lying. He belittled me in the way that he communicated, disregarding what I was saying was wrong with my car and dismissing my concerns. I made a new appt for the future to drop my car off with the agreement that they will have a rental car for me. This is to fix a headlight, there is zero reason to need my car for 1.5-2 days.

The service was great! I previously scheduled a week in advance an appointment to get routine maintenance on my vehicle, however, the appointment was abruptly canceled the day before with no explanation. I proceeded to go in either way expecting a long wait, however, this guy Jose saved my day, he got me set up right away and had my car serviced and ready to go within a couple of hours. Can use a fix in the appointment system possibly, or maybe just a weird mix up, but regardless the service was on par and definitely saved my experience.

Let me tell you about the service at this place. My Jeep is due for an oil change. I called the service center at San Diego CDJR and the call went to voicemail. Multiple days in a row. I left messages, but nothing. I tried to book an appointment online through the Jeep Wave program. On multiple attempts, I managed to get to the final screen, with a date and time selected, and was given an error when I attempted to submit the completed appointment form. Okay. So, I go to the dealer's website. There, I was finally able to book an appointment. But, alas, randomly, the next day, I received an automated email indicating that the appointment was cancelled. I emailed. Nothing. And called. Voicemail. So, nothing. I booked the appointment again. This time, it seemed all good. I even received a confirmation a few hours prior to the appointment. So, I naively traveled to the dealer. There, I received no immediate service because my "advisor had checked out early." Then, they have me visit their service office where they tell me that the appointment system wasn't actually working so, really, I had no appointment. They offered to shuffle me to the express line, where there was a two-hour wait. I, of course, left. I'll give them this - the gentleman working the desk for the express service lane was super kind and shared my disappointment and frustration. It's not on you, buddy. But your employer is failing you. This is seriously disappointing. With my previous lease, for a different manufacturer, I could always count on my appointments being met. I mean, that's not even ambitious criteria for success. But, there, they even often provided a courtesy car and a complementary car wash. My expectations at San Diego CDJR were not that high. I just expected to receive my vehicle's scheduled oil change. But I guess that expectation was already too much. I'll never do business with this dealership. I hope your experience might be better but, really, I'd recommend just avoiding this place altogether.

Let me first start off by saying that this will be my 6th car ever. I visited this store on 10/24/21. I worked with Eric. I was clear about my price range, monthly payments and down payment. I was also clear that I would complete a credit app after we agree with numbers. After only speaking with the manager. I was told that I needed to put down 5k on a 13k car with a trade in going for 19k. I was told that although my credit hasn't been ran that because my situation was similar to someone else they assume I would need the same. This dealership is money hungry and does not listen to the needs of the customers. I was approved by similar car at the dealership nearby and and only put down $500. I'm writing this review to let future buyers aware of how money hungry this place is. If you can avoid from coming here, I would.

If I could give 0 stars then I would. I was told to make an appointment, so I did. Then I was told electrical issues should never be scheduled on a Friday (my only day off). They didn't even look at my car and since I need it for work on the weekend, the mechanic told me to come get my car (less than 30 minutes before they closed which I was unaware of). My keys were not left at the front desk, so I was unable to get my car. I was clearly upset and no one in there cared or offered a solution of a courtesy car.

I’ve had multiple negative experiences at this dealership regarding service of my Jeep. Although the service advisors and staff are very friendly NO ONE EVER ANSWERS the phone. The exact phone number the “owner” leaves in the replies of these reviews. Even with direct extensions to your service advisor good luck getting someone on the phone. They rather send you a short, non-specific text message after 30 minutes of you calling and texting non-stop to get an update on your vehicle. I left my vehicle here at 7am sharp. By 12pm I had to text my service advisor 5 times, as well as call his extension for 30 minutes to finally get a reply VIA TEXT. They performed work on my vehicle without calling and telling me what had to be done and getting the “okay”. I guess they assumed because the work needed was covered by warranty they didn’t need my approval for work done on MY vehicle. I even called the parts department and asked them to please walk around the corner and see if someone from service could give me an update on my vehicle that had been there for 5 hours. They put my on hold transferred the call, and I listed to the phone ring for 10 minutes before i hung up. They have no respect for their customers time. My vehicle was kept here for work covered by FACTORY WARRANTY for 10 HOURS. Not one phone call was made to me. Only a measly 6 text messages. I was also not provided a loner vehicle, nor the option for one.

Taking more than 2 hours for Express oil change don't happen any where else. Even when you arrive at 6:40 AM.It shouldn't take more than 30 minutes.Waiting area with good coffee is appreciated.

It is very difficult to contact someone directly: I try to set up a service appointment on line only to get an automatic message that someone contact you to set up an appointment ,then Left three separate voice mails: but no one never contacted me. I finally got through and set up an appointment for 7:30 AM, after arriving on time I was informed that they will not be able to get to it until late. I contacted them at 3:00PM and was told that "they will not be able to get to it today" I do not know what is the purpose of setting up an appointment.

Scheduled an appointment for warranty work 3 weeks in advance when I was going to be away and did not need car. Nothing was done, they had it for 3 days. Car still has issues and I don’t know when I will be able to schedule because there are no loaner cars available. Last time I was here in June they only did part of the warranty work. The work they did was good and they are nice, but poor management ruined experience.

I'm disappointed with my service so far. I dropped my 2001 Jeep Grand Cherokee there yesterday for a recall inspection I had made and also asked them to replace some brake pads and a rotor. They wanted $800 for the 2 rotors and pads for the rear. I opted to go with one rotor and a pads for the rear. This would not be so bad but I didn't ever get a call on Monday to let me know what was going on with my vehicle. I had this appointment 2 weeks ago and feel like my vehicle was given the least priority possible not only in being seen by a tech but also by Jose my service advisor who seemed to be in a rush to get off the phone whenever we spoke. These repairs should have been fixed Monday or at least by Tuesday morning latest. I was about to do them myself but I figured I would give them the business since I had the appointment already. The Jeep won't be done till tomorrow evidently and they didn't even address my issues yet. Firestone would have done it all at a fraction of the cost on Monday. Also I had to get a rental out of pocket for 2 days costing $200. Honestly I just want my car back now...

Terrible experience. They kept my car all weekend, didn’t have any rentals to use, and then tried to charge me almost $1,000 to change my batteries. I decided against the service because that is insane and when I went to get the batteries myself, I had them checked and that wasn’t even the issue. Turns out my alternator was the issue.
