USAA ATM Rio San Diego Dr, San Diego

This ATM is consistently out of order. I’ve filed numerous complaints through USAA. I make all my deposits here. It doesn’t help that this is the only USAA atm that takes deposits in all of San Diego.

Great location but the ATM machine was slow to respond. Had to do 2 deposits because the machine wouldn't recognize one of the bills.

Regarding this location, I seldom use this location to deposit checks but when I do I deposit the check and get a receipt always easy. That said, USAA is a Great ONLINE Bank. USAA was created to be an ONLINE BANK so that way it keeps costs way down and BENEFITS WAY UP. I do understand if people want to go to a physical bank location and if you do then USAA is NOT for you. You can do most things with the USAA app like deposit checks and there are a lot of free money withdrawal ATM locations. Free Checking with NO balance limit whatsoever so even if you keep near 0 balance on your checking account there is NO monthly fees or any fees whatsoever for that. I do understand if people want physical bank branches and giving BAD reviews because of no physical bank branches.

ATM out in the middle of parking lot. No drive-up access, no short-term parking spot. When I arrived the whole lot was PACKED and people were waiting for spots. After circling the lot I just parked in the drive lane (parking 3 cars in) long enough to make my deposit and leave. You would think they could make 1 spot in the lot a 10/15 min parking for the ATM.

USAA is the best financial services company out there. They have members, not customers. Anyone who says USAA isn't the best is a) working for a competitor or b) has personal problems. I've been a member for 17 years, and pity anyone who isn't eligible for membership. I'll be with USAA for life. Period.

Such a frustrating experience. First there's a limit on how much you can deposit so it will take multiple trips. Drove 15 min to this ATM, just to drive around a full parking lot for 5 more min because there was no parking. Then finally get out and the ATM is out of service. Massively annoying. Literally making me consider opening a checking account somewhere else. I love USAA but this is completely unacceptable. If you're saving money by not having branches, you need more of these and for them to actually be up and running. There are other reviews saying the exact same thing. Horrible.

Not only has the terminal been out of service for 72+ hours but the entire screen is covered in graffiti now.

Never able to make a deposit. It either fails or is never available! Really makes banking with USAA less worth it now that they don’t have any actual branches anywhere either!

Is USAA going to leave the San Diego area? This location is never available for service..that leaves just 2 (two) in this area... NFCU will be our bank of choice...and they keep opening new branches...I guess they really appreciate the Military!

As of Jan/Feb 2019 this ATM will not dispurse cash. I live by it, try it every few days, and it has not worked for me or anyone else. Everyone tries, nobody gets cash.
