This company does not care that you did not receive their letters, or that they set them to the wrong address. They just want their money. They don't care that things happen that aren't your fault and out of your control. They just become rude and demanding when you catch them in a lie of what they say is and is not in their control. Absolutely terrible for these types of companies to treat people this way!! And to top it off they saved my information after I did not give them permission to save it, and they processed a payment a day early that was not in the agreement! Absolutely terrible!

I chatted with Mark Forbes he answered all my questions quick and was friendly. He let me know what I needed to do to set up my payment plan on what I could afford and set it up were it drafts automatically which I like. Thank again it was quick and easy no problems

Spent multiple time trying to negotiate my debt to a reasonable amount. Nothing was ever done, spoke with supervisor/director for more than an hour and all they do is sugar coat everything. I know this company bought dollars for pennies and still had the audacity to act like they are helping me with this situation.

I paid what I owed. For some reason they are extremely quick to take your money but if you want it off your credit report it will take months if not an entire year, and they blame it on the state you live in. I've been waiting for almost 2 months now since it was paid off and not only are they still reporting, they're changing the amount owed on the report.

I was told they would delete the collections off my credit report once account was paid. That did not happen now I have been on the phone for an hour being told their policy is to tell people to kick rocks. Whole place is full of liars & cheats.

Horrible service, never heard of this company till their lawyers got involved. They went as far as sending letters to my landlord looking for my address and personal information. They said they sent me information in the mail. Yet their lawyers had all the information in their file. I had never received a letter from midland informing me they bought my debt till. Their lawyers got involved. So now I’m getting harassed by the law firm. I tried to get more information from midland they told me since my case was already with their lawyers they couldn’t do nothing. Yet it wasn’t their lawyers that never sent me information about midland buying my debt. This is a real bad way of doing business. Now who knows how and in what ways are they trying to get their money back.

Wished I could say it was a pleasure but they weren't pushy and explained things to me. It's a debt I owe and unfortunately Covid has wreaked havoc upon a lot of us. So all we can do is pick ourselves up, dust ourselves off and start over

I was being sued before I even knew I owed these people money.. Then they went on to garnish my wages without me even knowing I had a court date. I then paid the loan off in full, and now they have turned me over to collections AGAIN for $247 that I don't even owe them.. When I saw it on my credit report and called, they said they couldn't disclose any information with me.. So this morning, I found that they had updated my case even after I spoke with them last week.. CROOKED COMPANY..!

Will try and hit your credit for a debt that has already been applied to your credit. Currently reporting to IRS and not only that they will send you harassing and threatening letters in the mail.

The customer service guy was very rude and judgemental. I was very upset during the phone call. He was talking over me and not hearing what I had to say. Plus, he never answered my question. In my opinion, this company needs to be shut down.

A company who thrives on the misery of people. Business model: for example, they buy a $2000 charged-off account for $100 from a credit card company (The credit card company already puts that $2000 as part of their tax deductibles and lost business). Then they go after poor people who could not pay that bill for whatever reason to charge them $2000 (20X profit and threaten them by filing suits). The consumer has already suffered through his/her low credit score by not being able to rent a place and that her/his all other credit lines being substantially reduced. But these vultures won't stop their extortions.

This company does not follow the collection laws of the United States. With all of their accounts sent overseas, they still need to follow laws. I have the same name as my mother, so from time to time they mix our credit info. This company asked for me by first name, I said yes, then they started going off on me saying I needed to pay my bills and I’m a thief! I tried to explain they had the wrong person but this man was screaming at the top of his lungs. I tried calling back to speak with someone but after 42 minutes of being on hold (two separate calls because the phone hung up on me) I gave up. I then received multiple calls from India, the man was yelling he knows people in CA and he had my address he was going to send them to kill me and my kids!! I still cannot get a manager or someone on the phone to speak with! I don’t even live in CA! They have the wrong people and they are threatening our lives! What a joke! The companies who do business with this group should really think about who they do business with!!! My children heart this as I was driving, so my son thinks some man is going to kill him now! I’m so upset and disappointed that grown men are still threatening to kill women and children

Obviously the ratings for this site is paid for. Had to deal with CFPB to limit their contact before and now recently they are going wild with my phone number once again. I've dealt with MCM directly to make them stop contacting me and they have no clue what stop means. $225 debt for something that was paid off in the original creditor decided that I didn't pay it off. Just better off letting it be.

If your account gets to the courts and you set up a payment plan, Midland will violate the terms of that agreement, even if you have paid down the account and paid on time, every month for the last 3 years. Whats worse, is the courts allow this and will do NOTHING to penalize Midland in the way of violating the terms of THEIR agreement.

This company is so WONDERFUL, UNDERSTANDING and very accommodating to fit your financial situation! Beginning my pathway to repayment was actually a pleasant experience, the representative was so very attentive to my concerns and conveyed a genuine interest over my personal health disability. A very generous, very doable payment amount was readily offered to me as well as reassurance that my debt was in no way expected in full upfront! I had been dreading this topic! Lol But once I got into talking with the Midland rep, my mind eased! I cannot express how much I value the kindness and understanding I receive and I highly encourage others to take this first step with getting Life back on track! This company is the worse you could ever possibly think, I paid off my account and they haven’t send me anything at all. I called them over and over and their crack heads customer support is a waste of time, not only they keep transfer you to another “ crack head associate” but they never solve anything. Is there a law or regulation to sue this company ? I’m sure after someone pays off their debt they have an obligation to notify you by mail. In my case I haven’t get anything . I will report them. If I only knew this, i wouldn’t pay them a single cent and rather go bankrupt or find a professional company to deal with. The good part is that i’m recording every attempt I tried to reach them so when it comes sue them. I wouldn’t recommend to anyone dealing with this company at all!

I would say that overall they are quite fair about wanting to help you clear your delinquencies. I was skeptical but in the end, I was able to negotiate a fair deal and pay them off. The representatives must deal with angry customers all day, I do understand and sympathize. Good peeps overall. I do hope the credit bureaus also do their part in deleting the tradelines.

The most unprofessional company known to man kind. They call my phone every single day and just scream out my name like I’m friends with them. I don’t know you, secondly that’s not how you call someone’s phone especially from a business. I’ve asked them over and over to stop calling me, if they need to contact me put it in writing but no they don’t understand that either so I know exactly what I have to do.

Very unprofessional. They called my phone at 8:30 and just said my first name not even disclosing where they were calling from. I told them more than one person exists with that name and for sure they weren't calling about me, but about my grandmother who by the way doesn't have the same number on me. I hate this company so much and the people who work for it are soulless. I've been paying on my midland account for over 3 years never missed a payment was never late but they have decided now would be a good time to report my account as delinquent and every week for the last month have reported negatively after speaking with them and filing a dispute I am still left with a negative mark on my credit even tho they are falsely reporting information not once in 3 years have I had an issue but because it's almost paid off they want to say my remaining balance is delinquent just to mess up my credit rating
